10 A forewarning

"Hello Rein!! It's me, Kim, your beautiful childhood friend."

She covered her laughing smile from rein who is munching different kinds of unknown foods in his mouth.

"!!!".

"Hhm!!! Hhnm!! Wa... Water!!"

"Oh sorry Rein'!! wait a sec I'mma get it instantly!"

Kim handed the golden cup, with gin inside to rein.

"Gulp. Gulp. Bleeh!! This ain't water! this is like a gin from earth! Where did you get this!?" Rein asked kim as he tried to wipe his tongue with white cloth on the table.

"It's from teacher Cecil table. I thought it was water. '' Kim said with the eyes of a scalded cat.

"Hays nevermind. I almost died of choking."

" why are you surprised when you just saw me by the way?? Is there something on my face? or I'm just becoming ugly that you will always be brought to surprised when you just glance at me a little bit.

"Sob, Sob." Kim started to fake tears.

"I ain't saying that you're ugly or anything, it's just that you came out of nowhere. Who would not be suprised by that!? " Rein said. While trying to comfort the crying kim.

"So you're saying that I'm beautiful?" Kim asked.

"Yah ,Yeah Okay"

"I know that my childhood friend is honest! " Kim hugged rein tightly."

Hence in a while, when rein was in the awkward situation. Where Kim is hugging him tightly. He tried to move a conversation, and asked her where she and Kaz was brought by General Cecil earlier.

"Are you jealous of retro and I !?" She tried to tease rein while still clinging into him.

"I ain't jealous of you two!" Rein said while trying to cover his embarrassment.

"Then I take that embarrassed face of yours as a yes. Well you don't need to worry about it we were just brought into a private place in this palace."

"Private place? Where? " Rein asked.

"Shouldn't you be asking why? Instead of where? you're making me want to cry again, and besides it's a private place. It should not be allowed to be told to anybody, but you are my childhood friend so it's an exception. It's on the fourth floor. It is a room filled with rich natures and mana around which can help you control your element properly, and speed up your learning process. Also tomorrow we awakened students and teachers will be going to the forest of doom to be trained by the two generals. I don't exactly know what we will do, but I think it's a way to improve us awakened humans. So you Rein, where will you be going for tomorrow?"

"Me? We are only staying here at this palace. We aren't going out at all, we will be trained here by general Vrekerd itself. "

"Oh! You are very lucky rein! you don't have to go outside of the palace to be trained." Kim said while leaning on Rein's shoulder.

"What's so lucky about that. I ain't lucky when the time that I was brought to this world. I still have many things that I need to do, yet I just threw it away."

"Count it as lucky that you are still alive today. That the two of us have met again." Kim said trying to comfort rein in his worse state

"Is this lucky though? I almost died of choking." Rein said, trying to tease kim.

"Well it's not my fault!! It's yours not mine!"

"So it's my fault. Yah. Yah my fault."

On the contrary when the two of them were busy insulting each other. There was male student that approached them. As the two of them looked at their backs. They found out that it was Kaz retro, one of the pupils of general Cecil.

"Hello excuse me for interrupting your lovely reunion, but teacher Cecil is waiting for Kim's presence to do his greeting speech."

"..."

"Oh! Sorry to bother you again retro. I nearly forgot about it." Kim said in his panic state.

"No problem, just head to do your speech now. Wish you luck. " Kaz smiled at Kim.

"Then I am going now!! Ah wait Rein! " she turned his back and stared rein

"Yah?"

"Cheer for me okay!"

"Okay." Rein waved his hand at Kim when she was going towards where general Cecil is standing.

Hence, when kim was doing her utmost greeting speech. Kaz and Rein were just intensely talking to each other. They haven't even heard a single word that she has spoken in front. The person's in a table near kaz and rein were curious what the two of them were talking about, and Emmy was one of them.

"Hey pina. Do you know that guy who's rein in our class is talking?"Emmy asked pina.

"I don't have any interest in that pathetic guy in our class. " Pina replied, while trying to wipe his mouth from the stain of the otherworld boar that she had eaten.

"Not rein, that guy. "Emmy pointed at Kaz retro who is angrily talking at rein.

"Oh yeah! I know he's kaz retro. From one of the prestigious academies in our country, called bright path academy. He's good at anything!! Grades, Sports, Talents, he even has a fan club built just for him! He's quite popular these days , and I don't mind being her future girlfriend. Mind asking him out for me please? "Pina begged emmy.

"No way! " Emmy replied.

"Please?"

"Denied."

"Uhh!! Okay nevermind then. " Pina pouted.

On the contrary when rein and kaz were talking to each other. They don't know that they have been made rumors around. People started to stare behind their backs, and tried to think what the two of them were murmuring around.

"Leave kim alone. She's mine, you don't have the right to take her away from me. " Kaz said while pointing fingers at rein.

"I really ain't taking Kim away from you! She's my childhood friend, and there's nothing more to us! Besides you just have known Kim for today. So why are you trying to own her?" Rein replied.

"Known her just for today? Are you crazy!! I've been chasing her for more than two years! She's my classmate! And the student council President in our academy! while I'm the vice President who is always supporting her! You know what. I'm trying to warn you here. If you don't want to get crippled or electrocuted to death. Leave kim alone, or don't get near even a few meters from her. Or else you really will die a painful death." Kaz said. He pushed rein away from him, and started walking heading to where general Cecil and kim are dancing.

"Painful death huh? My life is all about pain, and every person that I met so far is awful. So what am I supposed to do huh?" Rein remembered that he still has a childhood friend who still cares for him.

"Yea, I should try to have positive thoughts. Well I'm beat! I'mma return first to my room." Rein instantly heads towards his room to sleep. He was the first one to arrive because his unknown roommates are still in the party.

"I also forgot to cheer for kim when she was doing her speech. She won't beat me out of blue if she sees me again right?" Rein was hardly in thought of it, but he just fell asleep later on.
