17 Wood Fruit

Nuke and Reed clashed once again, but this time Nuke used his Haki at full strength. This time, a large dent appeared on the place where Nuke attacked but countless small roots came from inside Reed's body and restored the injured place to the original state.

'Strong Regeneration Skill...Interesting'

"I admit defeat, Captian" Reed surrendered as he knows, he is no match for Nuke. He even called Nuke as captain so one could guess, he decided to join 'Origin Star' Pirates.

Just after 10 mins of walking, Nuke, Lyn, and Luna were dumbstruck by what they saw before them.

If the place they saw till now is full of trees, then currently before their eyes there is no trees or plants only pure wasteland filled with some woods here and there.

Reed could see their confusion so flusteredly spoke: "It's looking like this because of me, as I used these trees as my food and most of them are turned into woods."

Soon they reached the place Reed built his ship. Nuke saw many planks of wood scattered throughout the place.

They also saw a ship, as big as Merry but it looked very crappy and if placed in the sea, Nuke was sure, it won't even sail.

At the time, Reed even boastfully introduced the ship: "This ship is my best creation."

Nuke speechlessly shook his head, and thought: 'Reed's shipbuilding skill is very bad but I think it's due to no one taught him."

'If I teach some ship designs I know from Earth, Reed will be able to create an extraordinary Ship.'

"Luna, Lyn search this place for any resources... I will try to build a ship with Reed." Nuke announced.

"The trees here all are very weak so the ship I built is not very durable. We need good woods and other materials to build a tough and intimidating ship." Reed spoke as he perceived the ship he built is not good.

Nuke then explained about the various design of ship and their uses, mechanism, he even drew some diagrams of the ship for Reed's understanding. Reed was also able to learn and understand everything Nuke.

At last, both of them decided a built a simple ship with Deck, captain's cabin, crewmates cabin, small Kitchen, Gunports, and storeroom.

Reed then created a dwarf like small wood creatures, size of 2 feet. There were around 20 wood creatures and every single one began to actively do as it commanded by Reed.

After 5 hours, a small ship as big as Going Merry appeared before their eyes. It's little small than going merry and the quality of wood is also not good.

'It would only be able to sail for some time. Well, it's okay for now as Reed can build a good ship with good materials once we leave this place." Nuke thought.

"How are we going to leave this place?" Reed asked.

"Did you try to leave this place before?" Nuke asked without answering Reed.

"Yes... but strong force repelled me from leaving this place. We need a powerful force to leave this place. If you are strong enough, the force won't be able to keep you here." Reed spoke.

"Don't worry, I have absolute confidence we can leave this place without much difficulty." Nuke said.

At that moment, Luna and Lyn came back and reported: "There is nothing useful in this place, Only what we saw so far, trees, woods, and some plants."

"Ok then, we will leave this place since it holds nothing we want."
