6 Silver Haired Ape

Another One year passed,

Just three months back, Nuke and Luna defeated the Monkey with much difficulty. But the next beasts they faced are much stronger than before.

In this one year, they found out some important truth about this place; That is, their haki is not improving as much their training. It's like they have to put five times the effort to get a one time benefit.

It's like something in the Island is controlling the flow of haki. Haki is nothing but a type of energy in the one piece world, so if someone disrupts the flow of energy; The absorption and improvement of haki become difficult.

The Only advantage is, their control in haki improved tremendously because due to the low amount of energy they have to control their haki to use it accordingly. Is it an advantage or disadvantage no one knows?

So Nuke and Luna decided to leave this Island and plan to find a way to leave this Caged place.

Today is the last day of their adventuring in this Island. Their hope of obtaining some treasures or devil fruit also diminished.

The Beasts in the inner region of the forest uses a weird kind of energy like haki but not haki. It's also because of that, defeating the beasts become difficult.

"Nuke, Look there!" Nuke heard the Luna's surprised cry.

When he looked into the direction Luna pointed, he saw a 20-meter tall tree with the holy like aura enclosing it.

"Devil Fruit"

Nuke saw a weird patterned fruit in one of its branches. his breathing becomes fast, it's a devil fruit who wouldn't be excited.

But he didn't know what kind of devil fruit it is. Whatever that devil fruit is, he has to obtain it. Even though nuke wants to eat a devil fruit, he has the 'Origin star' technique.

So he is not in urgent need of eating a devil fruit. But he can give this fruit to Luna who's always want to increase her strength.

Nearby, luna also looked at the fruit but she doesn't know it's a devil fruit, because she hasn't seen a devil fruit in her entire life.

"Luna, that's the Devil Fruit. But I don't know which category it falls under." Nuke said to Luna. Then he began to carefully look around the tree to find any beasts in the vicinity.

"Luna, you go and pluck it. I will watch for any beasts." Luna nodded her head and walked towards the tree.

Just after Luna took three steps from the position, A silver-haired Ape around 15 meters in height mysteriously appeared near them. It looked powerful and scary with a scar on the left side of its face.

"I know it", Nuke thought.

"Luna, you go and take the devil fruit. I will distract this Ape." Nuke yelled. As soon as he said that, Nuke dashed towards the Silver-haired ape.

Luna also sprinted towards the Holy-like tree with her fastest speed. The silver-haired ape only looked at Luna and doesn't even looked at Nuke. From this one could guess, the Ape's target is one who decides to pluck the fruit.

'Shit' thought Nuke.

Nuke used his fastest speed and attacked the Ape with his hand covered with Armament haki. He even changed his strength attribute to the maximum.

This is the Nuke Strongest Attack, combined with the first level of origin Star Technique and Basic stage Haki even someone with a bounty above 300 million bounties won't take this attack head-on.

But the Ape blocked his attack with its arm as it is nothing. The attack only let the ape take two steps back and some bruise on its arm.

"This is Bad...What kind of Ape is this?" Nuke mused. Thanks to this attack, Luna reached the tree.

The Ape just simply flung Nuke away with a punch and right away jumped towards Luna.

"Luna, Watch out." Nuke cried as he landed some distance away from the tree.

But the worries Nuke thought didn't happen. The Ape wasn't able to reach the 5 meters of the tree as it was repelled by some kind of force.

It let out a loud pitched frustrated noise and watched Luna who happily plucked the Devil fruit from the tree.

Watching this Nuke let out a sigh of relief. But his relief didn't last long, as soon as Luna plucked the fruit, the tree mysteriously disappeared from their eyes leaving Ape, Nuke, and Luna alone.

'Shit' Nuke thought.

"Luna, Eat the fruit quickly." Nuke said. He hoped, if the fruit is powerful, Luna will be able to fight the Ape.

"No. I won't. This fruit is for you." Luna said, shaking her head. Nuke could guess what Luna is thinking but this is not the time.

Nuke used his shadow steps and appeared before Luna, he soon used his 'Attribute' panel and changed his Agility to the maximum.

Nuke sprinted towards the outer region, hoping to reach the border. If they cross the border, the Ape won't be able to attack them.

The Ape began to chase after the Nuke and Luna as he used the shadow steps to increase his speed once more.

The Ape is strong but it's not fast, even so, it's fast for Nuke and Luna. The gap between Ape and Nuke began to decrease.

Some times the Ape will use a powerful jump to catch both Nuke and Luna. Even though it's jump is powerful, it wasn't accurate. Nuke was able to easily escape by changing the direction.

The game of Mouse and cat continued for fifteen minutes, Nuke is just 1 km away from crossing the border.

The Ape suddenly let out a Roar and charged at Nuke with great ferocity as it was aware nuke will escape after crossing the border.

Nuke was just 100 meter away from reaching the border, but Ape cached up with him. Nuke wasn't able to do anything about it.

He steeled his mind hoping his body will be able to withstand the attack. Ape punched at Nuke back, as expected it is powerful.

Using the Attack as force, Nuke crossed the border but his internal organs are fully torn apart. There are some bones broke near his chest region and back.

"Nuke, are you okay?" Luna worriedly called as tears began to gush out from her eyes.
