5 Chapter 5

Although Rezen thinks that these people are pitiful, what can he even do? Pity is a luxury thing in this world

Without power, his pity is completely useless. He can't even escape this place anytime he wants to and today is his only chance!

Rezen ignited his determination as he walked away in the direction of the comfort room

There were many slaves that want to follow him but one glare from him was enough to make them change their mind

His decision of being unfriendly and cruel to the slaves finally paid off. If he were kind to them, many people would surely stick close to him while he was enacting his plan

After a few minutes, Rezen finally reached the restroom. Fortunately, all slaves were nervous, they don't even have the mental capacity to pee or take a shit

Rezen entered one of the stalls and made sure that he was the only person inside before using his own innate ability

It was not only the skinny guy from before that awakened an innate ability, but Rezen also has one and no one knows it. His innate ability is the main key for him to escape this place!

Rezen closes his eyes and focuses on the flow of mana inside his body as he circulated them in a specific way

Since it was an innate ability, it was easier to use than any other magic skill

When Rezen opened his eyes, his innate ability is now ready to use

"[Magic Art: Time Clone!]" Rezen muttered and a completely identical clone of himself appeared in his side albeit it looks a bit younger than him

Time Clone, that is Rezen's innate ability and what he would rely on to escape

His innate ability enabled him to summon a clone or more like versions of himself. The summoned clone can either be the Rezen from seconds ago or the Rezen minutes from now on

Of course, it has a huge limitation. If Rezen were to summon a clone with exactly the same power as he has in the present, the clone would only last for a short period of time. If he were to summon a clone from his future, the duration and toll would even be bigger

As for the clone that Rezen summoned today, it was the version of himself that just activated his mana

It was him a month ago. Since the clone is much weaker than the current him, it would surely be able to last for a long time

After all, Rezen can destroy this clone in a single move. It would be laughable if a weak clone can only exist for a few seconds

"Go and avoid interacting with anyone as much as possible. I'll supply you with more mana!"

Rezen puts his palm into the clone's chest and he gave it his mana. Since it was a clone of himself, there was no problem with the mana compatibility

His clone can exist indefinitely as long as enough mana was supplied to it. The clone wouldn't also dissipate even if it was hit though that would waste the mana it has

"Understood!" The clone answered before exiting the stall and heading back to the Death Ground

The clone knows everything that Rezen knows and they behave in the exact same way

Seeing that, Rezen heave a sigh of relief and he uses another magic skill

"[Magic Art: Transform!]"

Soon, Rezen's appearance along with his clothes changes. His extraordinary looks vanished and were replaced by an ordinary-looking face

He looks exactly like one of the members of the Bloodthirsty Wolves. This would give him more freedom to move

It was the skill that he learned from a fellow slave. Of course, with his talent, he was better at it than that slave that doesn't even train his innate ability

Rezen walked out of the comfort room too as he head in a particular direction to reach a certain place

When he was close to his target place, he even saw someone dragging a corpse as if it was a mere rug

"Brother Shin, what are you doing here?" The man asked and Rezen instantly activated his acting mode

"Since this is the last time I can see these slaves, I figure I should give them a proper farewell, right?" Rezen replied with a lecherous smile on his face

The man instantly understood what Rezen meant and he too smiled lewdly

It wasn't a secret that the women slaves are taken advantage of by these lechers. Some would even do even those poor girls' corpse

"Brother Shin, I thought that you weren't interested in that? You really know how to hide your real nature!"

"Hahahaha! People can change!"

The two exchanged a few more words before they entered the room where the corpses of the dead slaves are located

They were mindlessly put inside large carts that the members would then take outside to dispose

While the member of the Bloodthirsty Wolves was dragging the corpse to put in one of the carts, Rezen moved like a shadow

He appeared behind that man with a dagger in his hand and without hesitation, he slit the man's throat

Blood instantly gushed out from the shocked man's throat but since this room has a lot of blood on the floor, it doesn't look abnormal at all

Rezen immediately worked to strip the man's clothing before putting his body inside the bottom of a cart so that no one would discover him

After that, Rezen transformed again and he turned into that man while also wearing his clothes

Although Rezen could also change his clothing's appearance, it was still better to wear the real one. That would lessen the chance of him getting discovered

Rezen did all those things in a swift manner before another man entered the room

"Brother Gar, this is the last corpse. We can dispose of them now!" The newcomer said while placing the corpse in the large cart

"Alright, let's go now and finish this as soon as possible!" Rezen replied while nodding his head

The man with him didn't notice anything abnormal and they immediately pulled the large carts filled with corpses to drag outside

They are in the facility where the slaves are trained and live which was quite large

The slaves could either be used by the gang as cannon fodders or they could sell them to others

Basically, this slave facility is something that generates a lot of income. Mana Warriors even the lowest one has twice the strength of normal people

If they trained, it was even possible to have three times the power. It might not look much but they were also trained

Even a person with twice the power as long as they trained the same way as mana warriors could still easily kill tens of ordinary people

If the mana warrior even managed to use even just the [Fireball] skill, their price would exponentially increase!

Hence, the Bloodthirsty Wolves ignored morality and created a facility that would generate them manpower and income

As soon as Rezen exited the slave facility for the first time ever, the blinding sun above immediately greeted him

His surroundings were not that different compared to the cities in his previous world though the buildings weren't as high. Possibly because high rise buildings are easy targets for monsters

Tall buildings cost a lot of money. Wouldn't it break one's heart if their money goes down the drain after a monster invasion?

"Brother, can you drive the truck on your own? I'm not feeling good today" Rezen said after they loaded the truck with the corpses

"Hahaha! You might be overdoing yourself in the nightly activity!" The man replied and Rezen laugh alongside him

After making sure that everything is settled, they went inside the truck and drive off outside the city

From the limited knowledge that Rezen has, lands are much precious in this parallel world. Thus, they wouldn't waste it to bury the slaves. What they would do instead was throw the slaves outside the city for the monsters to eat and dispose of them

While on the road, Rezen closes his eyes to act as if he was sleeping. It would be bad if he was found out impersonating a member of Bloodthirsty Wolves

Thus, keeping his silence is the best way. Anyway, he said that he is not feeling well. That should be enough as a cover

"I'm close to fully escaping now. Was it really this easy?" Rezen wondered. He almost didn't have any mishaps when escaping. It was simply too easy

Rezen thinks that it shouldn't be easy but since he couldn't think of anything wrong that he did, he figured that maybe escaping was easy because of his ability

After all, he is escaping and not fighting the entirety of the Bloodthirsty Wolves. When escaping, useful abilities is better than having raw power

With a clone to replace himself, no one would think that one of the slaves have escaped. This should be a foolproof plan, right?
