The next day, Rezen can be seen meditating on the ground. He was attracting the surrounding mana into him, absorbing and using them to temper his body
Near to Rezen was Danny that was guarding him. As for Chester, he was in the side, sharpening his daggers
"This kid... how could he easily control the outside mana?" Danny asked to himself after seeing how obedient mana was to Rezen
In his eyes, Rezen turned into a genius. If he could always cultivate like this then it wouldn't be that hard for Rezen to grow really strong
After a few minutes, Rezen finally opened his eyes and he releases a long breath. He stood up from the ground and starts stretching his body that feels lighter than before
In curiosity, Rezen taps his scouter to scan his own body and he was surprised at the huge improvement that he has

That's around a 1,000 increase! He was 1.5 times stronger than he was prior to meeting Mia and her group!
Where does such a huge improvement come from? Rezen cannot believe how he grew this fast
Seeing that shocked expression, Danny steps out to help answer Rezen's questions
"Don't be shocked. Mana Warriors after learning a new Magic Skill would have their battle points increase dramatically. Learning a magic skill that was of a higher level than the ones we know tampered with our bodies. After all, we need to control our mana in a certain manner and that improves the quality of our mana"
"It can be said that learning magic skills is one of the fastest ways to increase a mana warrior's strength. But of course, it was easier said than done"
"There are mana warriors that could only learn a few magic skills in their entire life. After all, learning skills and training our bodies are two different things. As long as we have time and resources, we could increase our body's quality. As for magic skills, well, only those who have enough talent can do that"
Danny explained while looking at Rezen as if he wants to receive the kid's praise and adorations
As this man helps him clear his doubts, Rezen is not too heartless not to give him what he wants
"Big brother, you're awesome and very knowledgeable!" Rezen praised and Danny's nose almost reachest the skies
"Hahaha! I don't deserve such praise!" Danny feigned humbleness although he looks extremely pleased with himself
"Then big brother, if a mana warrior were to learn tens or even hundreds of magic skills, would they become crazy strong?" Rezen asks with an innocent light in his eyes as if he was just curious
"Well, theoretically that's possible but is almost impossible to happen. Mana Warriors have their own affinities to elemental and non-elemental magic skills. Without an affinity, learning a kind of magic skill would be as hard as scaling the heavens"
"For example, a person with high fire elemental affinity could learn the [Fireball] skill in a single try but to those that don't have, it might take them months. In that long duration of time, it would be much better to train the body to increase the battle points value than learning a magic skill that would only give them an increase of a few points"
"Although magic skills are essential as only by using them could we fully utilize our strength, a person with domineering base power could still win against a person with refined skills!"
Realization dawn upon Rezen's face. He learned much more from Danny compared to the instructors from the slave facility that only fed the slaves the most basic of the basic
To others, learning tons of low-level magic skills might be a waste of time but for Rezen that has a [Blessed Body] and overall high affinity, that might not necessarily be the case
"Big brother, big brother, can you teach me magic skills? I want to learn earth-style magic skills too, even just the most basic one is okay! I want to be as awesome as big brother!"
Rezen stared at Danny with pleading eyes and the latter felt conflicted
A person wouldn't just easily teach others the magic skill they know. Most of the time, they paid for the manual or instructors if they don't come from a prominent family
As such, asking for a mana warrior to teach them a magic skill is a rude act. But since Rezen is 'innocent' and he's fine with just the most basic earth style magic skill, Danny almost agreed when Mia finally returned
"Don't waste your time. Countless Mana Warriors have their growth stunted because of their arrogance. They thought that they have enough talent to learn magic skills from different branches but in the end, those geniuses became mediocre. Focus on your water style magic skills, it would bring out the best in you"
From Mia's words, she seems to be 100% certain that Rezen is most and only suited for water style skills. This adds up to Rezen's doubts but his attention was instantly attracted by the thing that Mia has with her
Mia created a whip made from water and she had it wrapped on an armadillo looking monster around a meter in length
The armadillo thrashed wildly, trying to escape but it was being firmly held by the water whip. No matter how much it tried to escape, it simply don't have the power to succeed
"Big sister, what is that?" Rezen asked in curiosity
"An iron skilled armadillo. It still hasn't reached adulthood yet. Meaning, you can still defeat it. If not, forget about your reward" Mia answered. Turns out that armadillo is what Mia wants Rezen to fight
Rezen narrowed his eyes as he taps his scouter to scan the armadillo's body and his eyes constricted

This armadillo even without reaching adulthood already has a base power stronger than what Rezen has
Not to mention, from its name, Rezen can already guess that the armadillo's forte was its defense. It surely wouldn't be easy to get past that defense if Rezen don't use his [Blessed Mode]
