11 Chapter 11

Mia taps the scouter in her ear to check for the time. Although the scouter is mostly used to determine the battle points of the target, it can also show time

Seeing that it was already close to evening, Mia decided that they could start resting

"We'll call it a day. I'll give you your reward later" Mia decided and as usual, it was only Chester that doesn't like that decision

"It's still too early! We don't normally rest this early. Is it because of that brat? Are you trying to delay all of us?"

"As the leader of our group, are you disobeying my order?" Mia asked in a threatening manner and Chester can only grit his teeth

No matter how much he dislikes this situation, he still cannot do anything against it. After all, this is a world governed by the strong and Mia was the strongest of them all

With that, the four went to find a place they could camp in with Rezen helping enthusiastically as much as he can

He is currently a piece of annoying baggage in this group and naturally, he must do everything he can to at least increase his value

Rezen helps in cooking. Fortunately, he also has memories of cooking and it wasn't that hard for him

Thanks to Mia's spatial ring that has cooking ingredients inside, Rezen managed to cook a simple meat stew

"Wow, that looks delicious. Although Mia has ingredients with her, none of us can cook and it has always been a disaster" Danny commented with a sigh while salivating at the sight of the meat stew

"Big brother, do you want to eat already? It's already cooked!" Rezen didn't forget to curry favor and Danny happily accepted the offer

"Woah! This is delicious! It has been days already since I last ate something a human would eat!" Danny said with a sigh and Rezen smiled at him

"Hmph, with how weak that brat is, cooking might be the only thing he could do" Chester interjected, ruining the mood of the people with him

The four ate the stew while chatting from time to time. The mood became lighter whenever Rezen was taking the lead but every time that Chester opened his mouth, he would irritate everyone

"Come with me, I'll give you your reward" Mia said to Rezen and he immediately followed her excitedly

The two went a bit far from the camp. The sun has already set and the darkness of the night has already descended

At normal times, Rezen would have been afraid and wary already. To be alone with a person that could easily kill him in the middle of the night... who wouldn't feel afraid?

However, strange enough, Rezen almost don't fear Mia

His innate skills [Time Clone] and [Blessed Mode] aren't really direct offensive skills. They could increase his fighting prowess by a large margin but he still needs powerful offensive skills

Mia went ahead to explain the fundamental points of the skill again. She covered all important parts that the people that want to use it should know

Her explanation was easy to understand and Rezen understood almost everything that she has said

"If you could learn this magic skill in a short time frame, I will give you another reward" Mia offered

Although Rezen can feel that Mia has an ulterior motive for letting him learn these magic skills, as long as it would not harm him, who cares?

Anyway, magic skills are what he lacks the most and Mia is giving them to him for free. Who is he to reject the offer?

As such, Rezen put his body in the proper stance as he controlled his mana in a systematic manner

The [Water Spray] is definitely a magic skill that is a tier higher compared to the [Waterball]

As much as Rezen is talented, he still needs more time and practice to achieve what Mia wants him to achieve
