1 Chapter 1 Where am I?

Jack was walking to high school just like everyday with his phone at a regular pace. Suddenly a screech fills the air as Jack is turns towards the clouds with confusion clouding his eyes since the sky was meant to be clear today.

Jack quickly picked up his pace while putting his phone in his pocket racing towards school to avoid the rain. Thankfully he was close to the school already though he had one final minor intersection to cross before arriving.

But fate would deem it the last intersection he would ever cross in this life as when crossing the road after looking both ways and arriving on the other side lightning happening to strike a nearby electrical pole freeing it from all apparent tethering leaving it to god's whims.

Jack feeling the shockwave from the nearby blast jolted in shock and fear as he looked towards the location of the blast and following the structure to see its entire size Jack stood in shock as he realized it was falling at him.

Jack tried to respond quickly to this with a jump to the side seemly avoiding the giant pole crashing towards him but Fate would deem it otherwise as the pole seemed to rotate in his direction possibly from the part underground that hit something that it couldn't move.

Jack's eyes widened in realization at the last moment that he would die and if he hadn't jumped he would have lived.

The giant pole landed crushing Jack and instantly killing him. The nearby students and people immediately panicked from what just happened and the death in front of them.

Though this is greatly different from what Jack saw and felt as he shook his head trying to free it from the dizziness that seems to be affecting him at the moment. His vision clears as he realizes that his vision had shrunk while also becoming closer to the ground as if he had fallen.

Trying to push himself up Jack quickly feels that his arms don't touch anything and that his feet are on the ground. Looking down Jack sees a kids body of maybe 1 year old though he is personally guessing since he never had experience with children.

Looking around and trying to remember what happened he seems to have died quite an ugly death too and reincarnated in the body of a child though he has no clue where he reincarnated.

Though first step for all people who travel to other world's through mysterious means a mirror.

Quickly finding a mirror though he seems to be in his bedroom and the mirror is on a dresser. Jack puts all his tiny brain power together to come up with the idea to move the furniture to be able to climb up. Instantly realizing that this is a tiring effort after the first piece of furniture. Jack rests a bit before continuing eventually managing to create a makeshift ladder/stairway.

Jack tries to climb up realizing that this will be harder than he expected. Jack then spends the next portion of his time trying to climb up managing to get maybe a third of the up after exhausting all his effort. Before he could continue climbing the door opens with a surprised yelp.

A brown haired lady in fine clothes comes up with a bit of fear as she tries not to scare the child when a loud shout of something Jack couldn't understand was heard before rapid footsteps until a blond haired beauty appeared and was also surprised before waving off the other lady who quickly left.

Jack continued staring at the doorway with a confused look while the blond beauty approached with a smile that contained her surprise and excitement as she kept speaking to Jack's misunderstanding since he couldn't understand a word out of her mouth. Deciding the best course of action Jack pointed to the mirror before looking back and forth between the lady and the mirror.

The lady quickly coming to an understanding picked up the mirror and showed it to the happy kid.

Jack was surprised since in his last life he was above average looking with black hair but in this life he was extremely beautiful with short blond hair with a chubby face. Coming to the realization that this lady is his mother he spread out his arms after the lady put the mirror back after Jack was apparently done looking at himself.

She quickly picked him up into her arms cuddling him towards another room while speaking to both Jack and louder towards the direction she was going. Arriving in the room jack quickly noticed how everything looked modern and expensive. Though he couldn't miss the tall man with blond hair looking at his with a look of gentle love before moving his gaze to Jack keeping the gaze of gentle love.

Jack adapted to the lifestyle of be taken care of and trying to understand the words though he had no clue how to even start but eventually he came to understand words at his 3rd birthday as he saw the giant number 3 that he understood instantly with the celebratory setting and also the fact he did celebrate last year.

Jack would go on for the next 2 years understanding his parents and the relevant information that he seems to have reincarnated into a world of magic and deities since his parents called themselves demigods and magic was used around the house. Understanding that his family is a small family of 3 since his parents are still young and its probably hard for gods to have children.

He can only guess this is the world of The Era of Gods since its the only novel he remembers being even close to this setting.

Jack woke up to an upset mother with a gentle father explaining to her how it was time for Jack to go to school and that is only the morning to early evening and she will be able to see him after school. This seemed to have worked though not a lot since Jack discovered early on that his mother is the dominant and easily angered parent.

Though eventually the parents both accompanied Jack to the entrance of his elementary school for the next 6 years.
