I grabbed my bag and walked inside the ship as fast as I can because these two idiots won't stop squealing my name. I really want to have a good sleep since tomorrow will be very draining for me.
As I took my seat near a window at the very back row, Claude's annoying face popped out into the neighbor ship's window. What the heck. Even harley's annoying face is peeking on the other side while waving his hands.
"Eyy, Abi! Please don't die, okay?! I'm saying hi to your future ninja friends!" This guy never failed to annoy me.
"Milady, please wait for me. I'm showing you the strongest tamer you'd ever see!" Harley flinched when Claude tried to hit the back of his head.
"Shut it, Harley."
"Shut it, Harley yada yada." Harley playfully mimicked.
As our ships finally sailed off, I can still hear Claude and Harley's loud voices bidding their adieu. These two idiots will never ever shut their mouths unless Angela will controll them. They are both strong when it comes on killing yet they're too weak on shutting their mouths and mind their own businesses.
"Students, please settle on your seats now. Waves aren't easy to deal with unless you wanna die." We all looked up when a man with a hook slides his way down towards us. I think he's the captain, since he's wearing a gold patch on his chest.
"I am captain Franco and you'll be having your best transportation experience here in my ship." He said, giving us a disgusting grin. He's like a maniac preying on some young girls around the city.
"This is my descendant, Bane, feel free to ask questions. He'll be the one who will help you since I'll be busy monitoring this ship."
"Shut it, drunk old man, I never really liked you, bossing around like that." Bane answered, earning chuckles from some students.
"Let's be serious here, Seaweed. I'm your tamer and you're my descendant, not the other way around. You can not just answer me like that, especially in front of these students. Now let's go."
When the captain was about to grab his descendant's arm so that they can go upstairs, Bane puffed a large ball of smoke in to the captain's face earning him a glare from the captain. What an -sshole.
Dizzy, I just rolled my eyes and rest my head on the window. I can feel the cool breeze of wind touching my face. After Captain Franco gave us some instructions about the ship, students started doing their own boring businesses.
"Hi, where do you want to tame your descendant?"
When I thought I could have the best moment of my life since the two idiots are way too far from me, a man approached me. Ugh, I don't really wanna talk now. I want to sleep.
I inspected him from head to toe, he is wearing a wool coat covering his royale-like outfit. He also has this annoying sword kept in his back.
When he realised that I am not interested to answer his question, he then coughed softly and scratch the back of his head.
"Name's Alucard, by the way. I see, there's no more seat to occupy though." He stared at the seat beside me which is occupied by my blades.
I just sighed, grabbing both of my blades back and placed it in my arms. As long as this guy can shut his mouth off, we're good.
As hours continuously passing by, the sky went darker. I also realised that this guy, Alucard, is a little bit famous. Which don't really matter to me, unless these young girls stopped coming here just to ask Alucard for a company.
"Sorry for that." He smiled at me after giving a random girl a hand shake which made her scream to the top of her lungs.
I thought this was my lucky moment since Claude and Harley's nowhere to be seen. This guy beside me is a dumb playboy, plus, these girls..
When a random girl tried her luck to go near Alucard while squealing his name, I looked at her with a soul piercing stare which made her stepped back from us and go back where she belongs.
I sighed, rolling my eyes, as I shifted my body to face the window. I slightly popped my head out of it and let the air gushes into my face.
I was about to yawn when I spotted something in the ocean, the water also turned dark blue. Also, instead of chorals, I can see crystals shining because of the light given by the moon.
I gasped when the sky turned dark red. Unknown creatures flying as if they're birds that were freed out from their cages.
Shaking my head, I tried not to stare at the water when a beautiful voice occupied my hearing, making me dumbfounded. I gaped my mouth open when a mermaid, approached me. Water helping her to look like she's standing in front of me.
This ship is way too fast.. I don't know how the hell she managed to swim like this.
My senses snapped back after series of loud voices filled the area. I looked at the group of students who are trying to pull someone, whose half body is popping out of the window.
"Mermaids..." I heard Alucard whispered.
The voices went louder when the guy was pulled more by something, until the students failed to hold him anymore.
The door went open and Bane barged in with his tamer.
"Someone died?" The captain asked, no signs of him, being surprised. "Once you hear their voices, never look them in the eyes or you'll die. They are not some half fish-half women who just want to their human soul mates. Don't be stupid, they want eat your souls." He warned.
"DO.NOT.STARE. They want to drown your thoughts using their wonderful voices, after that, they will strangle you using their hair. We don't want no fish to kill us, right? So stop looking at the water, kids!" He added.
"And don't try to tame them, they are not spirits. They're the gateway guardians, fools." If I will be given the chance to rate how mean this old man is from one to ten, he's eleven.
"We're so near." Captain Franco stated which stopped me from a moment.
"Once we reach the gateway, leave this ship. We are not allowed to go with you but we'll wait for five days." Bane added.
I stared at my arm when I felt it heating up. To my surprise, my tattoo was suspiciously glowing bloody red for a few seconds and stopped afterwards. I tried blinking my eyes for a moment, trying to figure out if I was just hallucinating.
"You felt that too?" I faced Alucard with a questioning stare.
"I think we're here."

Q U E S T I O N S:
1. This is Fantasy x Action x Semi-comedy (since comedy is my forte) story.
2. GATEWAY GUARDIANS are just like normal guards. No ID, No entry lol, no. I mean, they're the ones who will keep the gateway's safety from unwanted visitors. They are not descendants nor spirits. Yes, Kadita is one of the gateway mermaid guardians.
3. I do write stories with SLOW PROGRESS in the plot. I want to make my readers think or imagine of what will happen next though. Sorry for being slow when it comes in narrating.
