Night Three Hundred And Nine

Age 1981

Rose City...

Within a large manner two people could be seen standing in the hallway. The first was a young seventeen year old boy with blondish brown hair and light orange eyes. He was dressed in a fancy suit and had a small smile on his lips. This man was Jin Nine, heir to the Noble family of Nine, one of the Twenty Sacred Branches, and a future Captain to Squad Seven. The second one was a six year old boy with messy red hair and bright green eyes. This was Kitsune Nine, future teammate of Hero Law when they both joined the Master...

"Hey, little guy?" Jin laughed slightly as he patted the head of a young boy that was clinging to his leg. "What are you doing here Kit?" He asked.

The small boy clung to his older brother as he looked up at him with wide eyes. "I wanted to see you..." Kitsune whined. "Are you really going to leave?"

Jin gave a small laugh as he patted the boy. "Well, here I am?"

"Do you really have to go?" Kitsune asked. He pouted slightly as his brother nodded. "But why! That isn't fair!"

"I'm sorry Kitsune but I do." Jin crouched down as he grabbed the silver badge that was placed over his heart. "This badge... It really means something. I'm an Enforcer now of Squad Seven. I'm close to getting a promotion to so I'd hate to quit now." He joked. "It's my job to protect mankind. To stop the Bestia Macht from freezing the world over. We the Enforcers, are the light that brings humanity the last remnants of heat. And with my power that's exactly what I'll do..."

Kitsune continued to pout as he stared down at the ground. "But you are always gone for so long... And Mother and Father, always are worried that you won't come back... They say you're going to end up dead if you don't quit soon..."

"And that's a very real possibility," Jin said in a serious tone. He slowly stood up and turned to stare out the window at the vast snow that dotted the lands, of this frozen world. "But even so... If there is even a 1% chance that I can save even a single life I'm going to continue to act. That's what it means to be an Enforcer... I won't ever quit. Because that's what makes me happy."

Kitsune looked down at the ground sadly as Jin sighed. He slowly bent down and placed a hand on his little brother's shoulder. "Here." He said handing something to the boy.

Kitsune looked down at the small necklace his brother placed in his hands. It was a blue pendent on a silver chain. "What is it?"

"Something important to me." Jin smiled. "If you have it, then I guess I have no choice but to come back alive, so I can take it back."

"You promise?"

"Yeah... I'll never leave you."

Bestia Macht have existed since as far back as the new race of man could recall. A curse sent from the Great Old One, God himself, created from the seed of the mighty Squid, the hungry one that devours, they are mostly commonly known as vile Beasts that know only death.

To date they are placed into various groups. Baron, Viscount, Earl, Marques, Duke, Prince, and King. All Bestia Macht fall into one of these groups.

However out their in the world there exist a Bestia Macht, that is specifically made to kill... One who was created nearly ten years ago from a foolish child's mistake...

Age 1989

In the streets of a slowly burning city a young girl did her best to remain on her feet. This girls name was Emma. "Shelly... You're still alive right."

On the nuns back, an unconscious Shelly Kaen, quietly snoored. The pink haired girl had taken a strong blow to the head. It took a shake from Emma to wake her up.

"W... What?" Shelly asked slowly opening her eyes.

"You're okay right?" Emma sighed.

"I... I guess..." Shelly took a second to glance at the many destroyed building that were scattered around them. "Though I'd hardly call this alright."

"Yeah..." Emma winced.

It had come out of nowhere in the dead of night. A Duke level. A top level threat. Usually it would have been dealt with by now.

But this one was special...

Smarter...

In a flash it had taken out all the Guard stations. On top of that it destroyed the walls, and the heating systems. The city was then set ablaze. Bestia Macht... Monsters so cold their very soul would freeze the planet, and yet this one brought hellish flames, hotter then any Equation.

It was unknown what it was.

This Bestia Macht which devoured all in its wake was given a name however...

"Do you hear that..." Shelly said suddenly her eyes wide with fear.

Emma could hear it. The sounds of wings beating in the air. The feeling of a hotness running through her. Smoke, ash, death.

She slowly turned and looked up to the skies as it descended, its tail easily destroying all buildings that had gotten in its way.

However out their in the world there exist a Bestia Macht, that is specifically made to kill... One who was created nearly ten years ago from a foolish child's mistake...

The Beast of Glutton.

A Duke level monster created by Hero Law nearly ten years ago with the Dream Creast.

His worst nightmare...

It came from the pitch black sky letting a loud roar out. Emma couldn't help but scream when she saw it, and Shelly stared with fright.

The thing was massive. Nearly the size of a large bus, covered in thick inky black scales. It had the body of a large dragon, but something about it was wrong. Off... Its wings jutted, and tendrils seemed to form them. In fact the monster actually looked as if it wasn't a solid matter, but rather a strange liquid like form. Its mighty maw opened wide, so wide it allowed both girls to see into what must have been the very pits of hell itself, as a second later, flames spewed out wildly, burning the sky itself, and melting stone.

If not for their Equations they'd have been turned to less than ash in mere seconds, simply by being in its presence.

Monster. God. Beast. Child. Despair.

Whatever word you would use to describe the beast it simply didn't matter.

The dragon turned its head down its glowing red eyes igniting as its flames spewed out.

In another time that might have been it. That could have been where Shelly, and Emma's story ended.

But this wasn't that time.

"Get down!" A powerful voice yelled.

Emma ducked on instinct as. wave of golden fire smashed into the black flames that the creature created.

"You two need to get out of here." The strong voice announced.

"Who..." Shelly began.

Emm looked up her eyes going wide when she saw the man. "You're! You're Jin!" He stood with messy blondish haid, caked in blood. His flaming orange eyes stared up at the Beast. His Enforcer uniform, was that of a Captains, though it had been badly torn and ripped up. Despite that he walked forward confidently, a set of brass knuckles on his wrist, golden flames jutting from them, as well as a set of nine fox like tails, and a pair of fox ears. "Jin Nine! Leaders of Squad Seven!"

Jin Nine, older brother of Kitsune Nine simply smiled. This was his last known recorded battle. It ended in his death. "You girls run along now." He said calmly.

"But-"

Emma was cut off when he showed her a badge. "It's my job to protect mankind. To stop the Bestia Macht from freezing the world over. We the Enforcers, are the light that brings humanity the last remnants of heat. And with my power that's exactly what I'll do..." He announced. "Because that's what an Enforcer does!"

Jin Nine was said to have died from holding off an army of Monsters...

The Dragon crashed into the ground, blood gushing from its many wounds the fox had caused it. The battle had been long and hard. Nearly a full day. But at last it was over.

The Beast howled in pain, as it stared at the side of its body which had been ripped off.

Unbeknownst to the creature that piece laid at the bottom of a ditch... It began to twitch and tingle... And then slowly it opened up as a young girl was born from the battle.

The knewly born Daughter stared up at the ash covered skies, the imagine of a boy with snow white hair, and a set of sad ruby red eyes in her mind. It was time she looked for her father...

Age 1992

But years later what exactly happened to the beast that devoured all. The Bestia Macht the Red Empress ordered Hero to destory...

Well... That was about to reappear...

'Boom!'

The entire mountainside shook as there was a bright pink flash as a massive pink pillar of light rose up reaching the backend sky and sending a massive pillar of heat. A massive wind pressure was unleashed as everyone tried to hold onto something. Several loud howls were unleashed as a wave of heat rushed by incinerating all the Bestia Macht that were on the surface. The nest was filled with fire as several thousand Bestia Macht were burnt alive almost instantly... Then suddenly it all stopped.

Jackson jumped up to his feet as he peered down the mountainside. His eyes were wide as he stepped back. "Holy shit!" He said cursing out. "I think I know why the Bestia Machts are pissed off!" Down the ravine smoke rose up as the howls of several Bestia Macht raised up to the sky. Then suddenly several Bestia Macht came flooding out of the ravine as they all ran North... Where the village was...

"They're heading towards the village!" Ken said horrified. "But... That is a pretty small horde." Only around five hundred could even be seen running now? "That blast must have killed many of them off. Speaking of which? What the hell was that blast!"

"A Shimer Star..." Jackson said letting out a hiss. "Those bombs are used sometimes during wars... But what kind of asshole would be dumb enough to throw one down a mountainside into a cave filled with scary killer monsters! Seriously! It's like they are trying to blow a hole through the Nest or something?"

"What now?" Shelly questioned.

"We need to head back to the village. If we leave now we might be able to get there just as the battle is starting..." Jackson said slowly.

"So we're leaving?" Father Darvin questioned.

"Yeah. We need to get back now-"

"Umm guys?" Ken said suddenly. "Do any of you guys hear that?"

Suddenly the air was ripped upwards as a massive beast suddenly flew up. Its head turned down as it stared at the three Enforcers.

"Oh..." Shelly stated as the things white eyes peered at her.

"Shit..." Ken finished for her...

In front of the group now glaring at them was a flying Dragon...
