4 War

A few minutes separate us from sunrise, the sky still dark, stars still glowing, far away in the horizon glistened the first blushes of sun ray, pinkish tainted clouds were slowly advancing, bringing morning dew and freshness to the land, the winds were calmly breathing lukewarm breeze on the big castle and the villagers

Close to the Tenetika kingdom's outter gates, hundreds of tents were anchored, the only sound that could be heard was that of soldiers snoring, and metalic gear being grated against dirt, for they all slept wearing armor, all ready to react and ripost if ever the Wealdlanders attempted a sneak attack.

The villagers composed of women, children, and few elders were all hiding in their homes, every man's presence was requested by Theon, then trained into the arts of war, and were all asleep outside in one of the tents, the alleys were empty not even a cat, silence was the ultimate and only sovereign of the village.

Lily had her silver sabatons, greaves, cuishes, and plackarts, along with golden poleyns, long tasses and gardbraces on.

She was now wearing her couters, then her gauntlets and finally helmet.

She then held her blue buckler, attached it to her left hand, and grabbed her long sword with her right, and advanced through the large hall leading to stairs that opened on the lower side of the castle.

Meanwhile outside the outter gates, the tenetika soldiers along withe their leader Theon were preparing themselves and the field to the upcoming battle, for today was a big day, if all goest as openly planned Thaumael, and secretly did Maximilian, the war shall end with Tenetika's victory for a start, and Miervall and Shiva shall be captured at last.

Not far away, came out of the bushes a small piglet who was then spotted galloping towards the kingdom's outter gates where Theon's troops were, they all stared with an air of confusion, is it a trap concocted by the wealdlanders, a messenger bringing letters from them, or just a coincidence.

He kept advancing towards the gate, passing under the few first raws of soldiers, he now was seeking the imposing outer gates, running fervently like his life depended on it, seemingly trying to escape some sort of threat, which was a signal that the Wealdlanders were close.

No one gave much attention to the tiny intruder, especially now that the wealdlanders troops peeked suddently from outside the forest from which the piglet came from, and stood there for an instant, Theon who took their reluctance for revulsion when faced with the huge Tenetika army screamed: " today we'll win, ATTACK !".

The army started rushing towards the forest, meanwhist the archers showered it with sharp arrows, but nothing seemed to change, the dark shadowy figures were still unmoved, standing there, transpierced by arrows, not even bleeding. Mid way to their target, the tenetika troops witnessed a strange glow intensifying for a few moments between the trees, followed by a big explosion amidsts the rows closer to the gate.

A humongous beast seemed to appear from nowhere, a metalic boar like figure whos body was composed entirely of golden alloy bars, in its core was a chimney like device that started steaming and breathing black smoke from its crown, itself extruding from the metalic beast's back, its elongated head held many long and sharp tusk shaped structures coming out of the beast's mouth Dispersed but pointing to its front, its snout also made with golden aloy bars ending with a robust heavy shield like structure on its front end.

The beast started running towards the gate, crashing into the soldiers transpiercing some with his long sharp tusks, cruahing others under his massive weight, it kept running clearing the way all along its path fow a few meters, then crashed with its snort into the big doors of the outside gate, shredding it into pieces, it was now wide open as Theon and his army stood there all petrified, and confused.

From the woods, came a slim dark figure running with an extraordinary speed, advancing towards the door, it jumped all over the soldiers, avoiding some, hitting some, overthrowing most of those who stood in his path with its supersonic speed, seemingly advancing towards the now gaping gate.

Then drew his claymore, pointed it at the beast standing all the way through the gate, and bathed it with fire blasts created using his nexus energy, which incapacitated it on its knees on the groud, then he rushed towards the gate to guard it from the wight coming towards it at full speed, he had a small idea about what it might be, which in fact he dreaded most.

As the peeding figure approached the gate Theon held its claymore up in the air above his head using both hands, screamed: "Clear the way !", Which his soldiers hastly did, the path between Theon and the mysterious celeritous being was now empty, when he entered Theon's reach, he infused his claymore with blazing energy, then crashed it on the ground towards the swift intruder, creating a big fire wave.

The agile dark figure slowed a bit, spread its black cape revealing majestic long wings, which he used to hover above ground thus eluding the fire wave, then suddently and out of nowhere shot Theon with a blast of blue energy, forcing him to guard it with the energy infused claymore.

The glorious wight entered hovering through the gate, with his angel like wings, once inside he let himself down to ground level then contunued running in the inner Tenetika village alleys towards the castle, Theon hastly aimed at the sun up in the sky with the tip of his heavy weapon, and shot a projectile towards the sky which then exploded into a huge fire work.

Lily who was in fron of the castle gate spotted the projectile, it was a signal warning her to protect the castle from the speedster that is now advancing towards it, she was nonetheless calm, unphased by the signal and the threat coming her way, for she have already defeated it once before.

A few seconds passed by, she saw a dark shadow running in a straight line in one of the village's alleys she pointed it with her long sword which started showering it with lightning, once, and twice, and thrice, but the thing despite getting hit, was still advancing and getting closer.

Once the thing a few meters away Lily readied her long sword for the blow, then when came time for the confrontation, that speeding shadow did not even slow down, Lily realised something, jumped over it and cut it in half, as soon as her foot layed on land she dodged two blue energy blasts one coming from left, the other from her rear side, she then jumped again avoiding another one coming from above which crased on ground.

She then pointed her long sword up in the air, towards the winged man hovering above her, who was pulling the strings that controlled the cape that Lily cut in half, and said: "away with the mischief, be brave enough to duel me like a real man, Miervall !".

The silhouette of a winged man, obfuscated by the sun rays, slowly descended from the sky and uttered calmly: "oh Lily, little do you know..... i am aught but a man now".

Lily was observing his slightest moves, his sharp yellow eyes, his feathery wings slowly flaping in the air, his right hand holding a big pistol, and his left one that is now contrary to what she remember completely made of golden alloy, and two legs thet ended with vulture like fingers and claws.

"What on earth had you become" she said.

"Whatever you forced me to incarntate, you took my hand Lily, so i replaced it with your demise !" He said in a playful tone.

"Its was a mistake, i should have taken the rest with it !" Answered she.

"There was a time when i'd have gladly offered you my whole, Lily, in fact i did, but you sided with these, fanatics, who's thirst could not be satiated even with all the world's power, who's religion only bought subjugation and tyranny upon the people, but gladly i am here, i will purge the selfish souls out of these lands" he finished his last words, by pointing his pistol at her.

With a blank somewhat regretful face, she did same with her long sword, then pushed so hard on the ground that it fissured, then jumped at high speed towards him, her sword infused with electric charges, while he rushed down towards her pointing his pistol and left metalic hand palm towards her.
