2 Chapter 2 - Quirk
Standing before him was an old man with long white hair and beard wearing a white robe. He looked exactly how people would think a god would look but Ren remained tense and ready to fight while the old man smiled softly and said.
"You're wondering who I am? Or where is this place?"
Indeed the place was strange as he was in his room getting dressed and moments later in a beautiful garden with an old man in front of him. Ren might be tense and ready to fight but his instinct is telling him that it was losing battle. It was amazing how his instinct didn't disappear even after his death.
"Well, an introduction would suffice. I'm what people would call a god or Random Omnipotent Being but in truth, I am just a humble servant who is under the bidding of a higher up. Perhaps, an angle would suffice? Regardless, I am here to give the reason why you have been reincarnated into this world."
Ren had many questions but decided to ask later and remained quiet as the old man spoke.
"First of all, you are reborn here because of karma from your other life as a doctor while the other soul has been your life before your life as a doctor but never regains it until now. Due to your previous powers and karma had allowed you to regain both memories and more. Second, is that you'll be given a quirk which is basically the String String Fruit without the weakness and the addition of Unrestricted Self-development which allows you to continuously grow.
Third, you'll have status but it won't have any Shop nor side mission as we will give you main Mission instead and the reward would be given to you and any woman that you bring but it all depends on your performance and growth.
Lastly, in this world, you have to kill All For One or AFO, nothing more nothing less. After you do that, you will be able to travel to another world and come back to this world at any time possible, so that you could meet your parents again. Don't worry they will be protected by me when you go to the next world and you can bring along your intended or many intended if you wish."
Ren was dumbfounded realizing how powerful it is and with his martial art technique would allow him unstoppable. The versatility and power of the String String Fruit is endless if used correctly and with his talent it won't take long to reach the level of Doflamingo. His potential is endless.
"Any more questions?"
"Yes, a few. Does my power be taken by All For One? Can it be nullified, copied, or be stolen?"
"No, it is specially made for you. Thus you won't need to worry about those scenarios."
"I see, Does the time flow differently once we leave?"
"Yes, time slowed down a bit but it all depends on what world you'll end up in. But whatever world it is, this world is slower than those worlds."
"Is that so, then I'm satisfied and don't think I have anything more to ask."
"Good, once you return you'll gain the information about the system. Farewell, young mortal and I wish you best of luck in your journey until we meet again."
Everything seems to fade as Ren return looking at the mirror while the maid stand behind him awaiting for his command as he saw in front of him a Computer panel.

Seeing the status gave a light nod as the door opened to reveal his foster parents with Momo wearing a red cute dress as she excitedly grabbed him and heard his foster father spoke.
"Looking sharp kid. Though, it's a bit surprising your boy at how pale your skin is. Still I can see you growing up to be a lady killer hahaha."
"Dear stop joking around. Well, Ren, are you ready?"
He didn't say anything about his power for the time being and told them that he was excited to meet new people acting like a child. His other life had been an Assassin and acting is one of their requirements to be a deadly one.
He followed them to the venue of their mansion where Ren could hear music and people talking as he peeked to find quite a lot of well dressed people along with a few who seem to be heroes.
As someone who is an Assassin it was easy to see who to trust and those who are not. Though, he can't say these people here don't have any agenda since it's likely they are investors and partners of the Yaoyorozu. Good and evil isn't always just black and white.
'Huh? Is that?'
He looked around and spotted someone familiar and saw that it was David Shield and with him is Melissa who seemed uncomfortable around people. Ren's eyes glinted, spotting someone that he wanted to get close to. People would like to target a more well known character but someone like Melissa who is a genius would prove useful in the future and long run.
"Are you nervous? It's fine if you are but just relax and just speak your mind. You're still just a boy so it's fine if you're nervous but don't worry we are here for you."
His foster father said making Ren nodded as they walked into view making everyone quiet down as everyone looked curiously at the upcoming celebration to their child. Many had seen him before but it was mostly from paparazzi and his previous birthday had been personal and didn't have this large of a party.
The reason is because of the fact that his quirk is mostly likely going to awaken and Momo's birthday is still far off since she had awakened a few months prior to her birthday which is next month.
"Good Evening everyone, to start off, I would like to thank you for taking your time in coming here to celebrate my son's birthday. Now, I would like you to properly meet my son, Ren Kazuno."
He smiled hearing how he never said foster and truly thought of him as their son and Ren could even see that they had plans on him being with Momo seeing how close they were. The two believe it isn't possible for them to have a sibling relationship.
"Greetings everyone, it is a fine evening to have countless people come to my birthday and celebrate which is why I hope that everyone enjoys themselves tonight."
He said walking towards the spotlight letting everyone be taken aback by his charismatic air that made them feel under the gaze of predators. Meanwhile, a young girl saw his face and couldn't help but be in awe.
'Is he really a boy? That face…it's too pretty!'
"Are you alright, Melissa?"
She turned to her father and shook her head telling him that she was surprised that Ren was a boy which made David chuckle and agreed at how his features were more feminine. He didn't even look like a 4 year old instead it was an 8 year old.
Everyone clapped at his little speech and continued their party where his parents talked to see guests drinking some champagne and acting business man. They were few who tried to present their daughters to him in hopes of gaining some connection but Momo didn't like them and was extremely clingy of Ren who warily smiled at her attitude but didn't mind it.
However, it changes when a tall man of an average build, with notable wrinkles on his forehead and defined nasolabial folds and tear troughs. He has small sky-blue eyes and short, unruly honey brown hair with two prominent tufts curving outwards from the top of his forehead, a short goatee on his chin and wide-rimmed square glasses on his face. Followed by a blond young girl anxiously looking at them.
"Oh, perfect timing! Ren, I think you know who this person is."
He nodded, turning to face David giving a light bow introducing himself and said.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, I've always been fascinated by your research and engineering and I was expecting to meet you in I-Island tomorrow."
"What a well mannered child. It is also nice to meet a fan of my works. Though, I'm surprised you're just 4 years old and 2 years younger than my daughter. Speaking of, no need to be shy, introduce yourself."
Ren saw Melissa walk out and nervously introduce herself while Momo didn't try to push her away as she seemed to like Melissa.
"Why don't you three play for a bit? Ren, you can show her around but make sure to get back later."
Her mother suggested as Ren nodded while David reluctantly let her daughter since he knows there are only few friends her age in the I-Island and letting her experience having new friends would be a good change especially what happened after her quirk assessment.
"Yehey! Follow us, Melissa! I'll show you our garden!"
Momo pulled Melissa who was surprised while Ren shook his head giving a small smile as he followed them heading to play in the backyard. The plot of land that Yaoyorozou has is massive therefore a small forest was included in their home.
"What do you want to play?"
"I-I don't know. I haven't been playing with other people since I've been learning to be an engineer like Papa."
Melissa anxiously said before she felt a pat in the head as Ren patted her and said.
"How about a tag? Do you know how to play that?"
She nodded as Ren told them that he'll be the one who's It and let them run to be chased by him. He ran at bare minimum as even a Third date martial artist is still faster than most adults and chases them down. It didn't take long for Melissa to slowly feel comfortable around them since children give their trust rather easily.
They were exhausted, well, only Melissa with Momo slightly panting while Ren isn't affected at all. As a Third Rate Martial artist his overall Strength is at least a normal adult considering his body but if he was an adult then it's twice stronger than the average modern soldier.
"Let's rest for now, how about we chat a bit?"
"That's great! I want to ask but you're clearly older than us, Melissa. What quirk do you have?"
A sad pause when Melissa looked sad and anxious. She was scared that they might see her differently and said.
"I…I'm quirkless. But I'm going to be like my Papa and help people that way!"
She showed her determination and goals while Ren smiled and said.
"That's amazing! Even if you're quirkless there's other ways to be a hero. But can't you make yourself stronger by making Nanites and armor to compensate for lack of quirk? The power of the Machine is limitless compared to quirks. Not to mention, you can always train how to fight and deal with villains with that."
Melissa was smart and a sudden click looking at Ren was shocking and said.
"You're right, Ren! I can still be a hero!"
"Umu, my quirk is weak unlike Allmight but Ren said with practice and training then I'll be able to be great Hero!"
Momo told Melissa about her quirk which surprised her and the two began to discuss certain things. Ren smiled seeing the two were getting along while he sensed someone hiding and had killing intent.
"Well, you two stay here, I'm just going to pee. I won't be far."
"Okay!"
