26 The Battle Against The Devil 1

Sefia blocked the attack and grunted being blown back into a wall and falls on her knees. Joshua dashed to Yoshihiro and bellowed. Yoshihiro slammed his hammer to the ground, creating a shockwave that stunned Joshua. He swung at him then Kikuri blocked the strike and was blown away.

"He's...so strong.." Kikuri said.

"He is a War Veteran..a devil on the battlefield.." Sefia said. "I am not surprised he is this strong.."

"We shall not fall nonetheless!" Joshua said.

Joshua dashed to Yoshihiro again. Yoshihiro dodged his slash. Joshua dodged his attack then slashed down. He landed and saw he cut Yoshihiro's helmet in two.

"Well done, young warrior." Yoshihiro said and looked at Joshua.

Sefia and Kikuri dashed to Yoshihiro. They jumped and slashed down. Yoshihiro dodged and swung his hammer, hitting Sefia away. Kikuri kept going for the attack. She bellowed and missed her attack. Yoshihiro kicked her to Joshua and they both fell to the ground. Sefia got up and coughed.

"He's beating us with such ease.." Sefia coughed.

"Another old bastard who's skills are off the charts.." Kikuri stood up.

"You must really hate old people huh..?" Joshua stood up.

"Only a select few from Mistral.." Kikuri said and picked up her kunai. "Why?"

"You talk down on them a lot.." Joshua said.

"Hmph..I see, you have respect for old people because of Old Man Grahdens and Owen..understandable..for me..everyone is the same in my eyes...in the eyes of an assassin...no one is special..not even Aria." Her kunai turned into her scarlet pin kunai.

"I see.." Joshua smiled a bit then got in a stance. "I'll keep that in mind."

"Alright..let's get him!" Sefia bellowed. She summoned her Holy Blades. "Time to exorcise a devil."

"That's my line." Joshua said.

"I wanted to sound cool for once." Sefia smiled.

Joshua shook his head then looked at Yoshihiro. They all dashed to him. Yoshihiro blocked Joshua's attack and shoulder bumped him into Kikuri. He looked around him and 8 phantom blades surrounded him. He smirked and blocked them. The odds were against him now. Kikuri appeared above Yoshihiro and tossed a kunai in the air and kicked it down at him. Yoshihiro dodged the kunai and grunted as he saw Kikuri behind him. She teleported to the kunai and slashed. Yoshihiro grabbed her arm and tossed her up and hit her with the hammer. Kikuri groaned and was blown away. She crashed into a wall. Joshua bellowed and his light energy surged.

"Warrior Skill Activate! Supreme Ruler's Exorcism!" He bellowed.

"Oh? About to use your Ultimate Skill?" Yoshihiro said.

"Ultimate Skill: Lost Lumina!" Joshua slashed and bellowed. A huge silver blade beam was rushing to Yoshihiro.

Yoshihiro stomped his foot down and blocked the attack and slid back. He grunted and was impressed by the power of the attack. Yoshihiro dispersed the blade beam and exhaled then chuckled. His aura appeared and he slammed the head of the hammer on the ground.

"Warrior Skill Activate. Devil's Gamble." Yoshihiro said.

Kikuri tried to get up. She held her stomach and groaned. Sefia ran to her and checked up on her. She was worried then looked at Joshua. Joshua got in a stance and his red cape flowed. His silver eyes glowed. Black and white aura surged into Yoshihiro's hammer.

"Fury Skill: Terra Catastrophe!" He slammed his hammer on the ground and rock pillars emerged from the ground.

Joshua was taken by surprise. He dodged the pillars then saw Yoshihiro dash and swing at the pillars one by one, knocking them into the sky. He raised his hand and lowered it and the rock pillars crashed to the ground at Joshua. Sefia ran to Joshua and pushed him out the way. Joshua reached his hand out. Sefia grunted loudly as the pillars struck her and covered her body.

"Sefia..no.." Kikuri grunted and tried to get up.

"Hm..A noble sacrifice but at what cost.." Yoshihiro said.

Joshua bellowed in rage and dashed to Yoshihiro and fell on one knee, out of energy. He panted and stuck his sword into the ground and stood up.

"Dammit..this is the worst time to be out of elemental energy.." Joshua said. He sensed some powerful light energy behind him. "Sefia..?"

"I...Refuse...To Lose...To You!!" Sefia bellowed and the pillars of rock around her exploded and she spread het wings as golden aura surrounded her sword. She summoned her katana and golden aura surrounded it also. Her blue scarf flowed in the wind and six phantom blades surrounded her body.

"So this is your awakened form..I am impressed..you are an Angelic Idol.." Yoshihiro said.

"I am a Hallowed Dancer...This sacred technique was taught down for generations in my bloodline..now I have perfected it.." Sefia turned to look at Yoshihiro.

"Oh? I can clearly tell my odds of winning are even more slim now..but I will see this battle through the end.." Yoshihiro said and got in his stance.

Sefia looked at him and her elemental energy surged. It was off the charts due to all the training she did with Aria. Sefia sensed a dark elemental power in Yoshihiro and knew elemental wise they were even. This comes to who can deal last the longest. She dashed to him and gave a warcry. Yoshihiro stomped his foot down and glared.

Meanwhile Ranmaru was sitting in the blimp and looked outside. He sighed and thought about Nobunaga and Oichi. He felt huge elemental energy coming from Akura and told the pilot to land in Akura. He got out and got his bags then followed the energy and saw the battle between Yoshihiro and Sefia. He was astonished by what Aria's army was capable of and was even more sure that Aria could stop Lord Omu.

"I know I made the right choice..Aria is the correct choice..." Ranmaru said. He closed his eyes and nodded. "She can save all of Genten. Even the North hopes she can.."
