203 The Tape

Viviana went to greet Leander. He did not look good. But he didn't look angry either. He looked at her and then climbed up the stairs. 

Viviana took it as a cue to follow him. He went to his office, and so she wondered if she should return and maybe prepare lunch.

"Get in!" 

Just as she turned to leave, Leander called her. 

"I got it," he showed her a pen drive.

Viviana didn't know what he was meaning. 

"The one you asked for?" he added. 

"Yes," Viviana stepped inside the room realizing that he meant the tape Gabriella mentioned. 

"Um…have you…" she cleared her throat as she hesitated to ask him. But she needs to. "…watched it yet?" 

Leander sighed. He then shook his head. 

"Mmm…" Viviana chewed her lips. "You are not going to?" she asked. 

Leander stared at her. Viviana didn't understand what he meant. She stared back at him. After some time, she wondered if she should leave.
