Leander ran his tongue inside his mouth. Viviana gulped seeing him angry. She was beyond confused by what he asked.

He then sighed again looking pitifully at her. He also looked like he was praying to the Almighty for patience.

Now she was curious—why? What did she do?

"I heard everything," he said.

"Oh," Viviana nodded. That makes sense. "Oh?" she raised her voice as she realized that he knows that she lied. 

"Why?" he asked again. 

This time Viviana understood the question. "I thought that she might blame the maids and that's why I took~"

"Why?" he asked interjecting her. 

That, he can figure out. This one has a savior complex. She thinks of him as the devil incarnate and she's the saint with the bleeding heart protecting the innocents from his claws. She can be the savior of all if she wants to. He won't mind.
