He was bemused at the way his mind was working and deciding things. His decision involved a lot other factors as well"he found himself wondering what if he stayed until she got down from that cliff of the terrace that night instead of leaving her alone; and then he was curious to know what happened to that girl he met all those years ago; then again there was this constant instinctive argument going on within himself and the question was"did she really jump? And so, although his initial reasons to stay back in Mumbai involved the judiciary and the case filed against him, these reasons now seemed almost vague to his own self. However, his plan had been perfect all the way. Wait until she regains her consciousness, hear out her say that she didn't jump, hear out her story when finally his curiosity would found a climax and then get back to his life once and for all. But ever since that night, everything else took a back seat and he found himself stuck with a weird whirlpool of emotions.

As much as he loathed himself for earning that look in her eyes towards him, he couldn't help but be amused to have seen some kind of emotion in those hazel orbs. And thus he was stuck with a tangle of turmoil"He was relieved along with being anxious; curious combined with apprehension; Anguish combined with dreading; confusion combined with determination and a recent addition to all this"desire combined with self-wrath.

He hasn't visited her after that night. If his apprehension has been one of the main reasons, the more logical reason is that she needed to adjust to her surroundings before they could bombard her with their inquiry. Again this is the advice of his great doctor friend and yes he needed the time as well. After going through it all for all these months, he cannot just afford to leave without knowing the answers to all those mysterious questions.

Khushi--- he was bemused how this one name never left his mind these days more because of the mystery that it carried as opposed to the happiness that it should. He found himself extremely determined to find out what happened with her and that lead to his active involvement in everything right from the investigation to her treatment. And now, as he walked the same dull corridors of the hospital to her room waiting finally to hear out everything through her words, he dreaded the moment. He dreaded about what he might have to find out, and more than that he dreaded if he would ever find out more about her and that somehow left him disoriented. He just wanted to end this all and head off to his life away from Mumbai, away from everything that threatens to bind him"hell he landed in Mumbai only for a freaking 2-days meeting! And the only solution to all this was, get away from her....... .
