1 Chapter 1

"Leave me alone."

"Aw, what's wrong sweetheart? I just want to get to know you better."

Vanessa fought the urge to smack the smirk off his face. She ground her teeth together as she looked at how close the man was getting to her. She almost laughed at familiar this situation was.

She was just heading home from her part-time job and somehow some moron had the audacity to stop her. Only God knew how she ended up against the wall of a building with some drunk guy stroking her thigh. It wasn't that she was scared to do anything, she just simply didn't want to cause a scene. The obvious thing to do in this situation was to strike when people were around but Vanessa just didn't think like that. So she kept her quiet. In her head the best time to strike was when no one way round. She'd rather take the risk than be embarrassed. What she was doing didn't make sense, but the thing is she didn't make sense, her actions didn't make sense, the way she thought didn't make sense, her train of thought didn't stream the "right" way. Whatever that was...

As the alley they stood in began to become quiet, Vanessa began to realize how close the man was. She suddenly became aware of the way his breath tickled her lips and hands etched higher up her thigh. Vanessa didn't know how long she'd been in thought but she came to the decision she didn't want to get raped today. She pursed her lips and suddenly shoved him off her.

"Get the fuck off of me sleazy bastard."

The man smirk disappeared and he straightened up, removing his hands. He suddenly came at her but she aimed her fist towards his face. She smiled when she got him right in the nose, causing him to stumble backward. But what he did next wiped it off her face. He laughed. Not chuckled, full out laughed. The way he laughed introduced fear into her for the first time of the night. Before she could even form her next thought she was slapped. Hard. She glared hard at the man in front of her, eyes tearing up.

He brought his hand towards her and took a fist full of her hair. Finally coming to her senses for also the first time of that night she screamed. But before she could let out a sound he clamped her mouth shut with his hand.

"Let me go you fucking bastard." She mumbled through his hand. The man blinked as if impressed.

"Wow, you have such a dirty mouth for a pretty little girl like you." He said smirking.

She wanted to wipe that smirk off his face, but he didn't let go, so she did the only thing could really do in this situation. She bit him hard, extremely hard. The sudden action caused him to throw her down on the ground. She then quickly tied her hair up and spit in his face. He rose and grabbed her by her pigtail. She screamed, the sudden tension bringing tears to her face. He raised his hand to slap her once again. But instead of his hand coming in contact with her cheek, it came across a wrist. She made a move to get up before a husky voice broke into their fight.

"What's going on here?"

Vanessa's dirt-covered hands started to shake as she took in the intruder's appearance. He was pretty tall for his face, his baby's face. Despite that, his voice was deep as fuck and to be quite honest his face was still one of the most intimidating faces she'd seen in her life. It looked like he was pissed as hell.

She was started to panic because no one was supposed to see her like this. No one was supposed to see her in this type of situation. Now, this guy was going to try to help, and she was going to have to say 'thank you'. And no words could explain the frustration she felt. Besides that she knew right now she looked like complete shit and the whole situation was just embarrassing. She bit down on her bottom lip.

The man glared at the young man. "Run along kid, there's nothing to see here."

When the young man glanced at her, Vanessa looked down, cheeks stained red. "Hey you, are you sure there's nothing wrong here?"

Vanessa's heart started pounding as she looked up at him. She hated talking to guys, especially when they were actually being nice to her. And the situation she was in wasn't helping matters either. She looked down. "Uh...I'm.."

They both just stared at her waiting to finish. She was so embarrassed she was on the verge of tears. She sighed in frustration. Before Vanessa could pick up the courage to speak the young man was gone. And then she heard a gunshot....and then another. She jumped up confused. Suddenly a body fell about a foot away from here.

"Oh m-my....." She looked up and saw the guy she was just speaking to moments earlier. "D-did you just kill him?!"

He smirked. And she suddenly became nervous. "Nah those were just needles. They'll knock him out for a few minutes." The hard look returned to his face. "But for now we gotta get out of here."

She raised an eyebrow. In this kind of situation any normal girl would be confused and scared, stuttering mess, but Vanessa blushed. She blushed at the guy staring at her. Despite his face, the guy was grown, and she meant grown. His voice was incredibly deep, he was built, and he just gave off the most masculine vibe ever.

"What's y-your name?" She asked randomly, getting up. The side of his mouth quirked up as he spoke again, his husky voice making her almost fall back down.

"Jimin, my name's Jimin." He looked down at her as if expecting something.

Vanessa mentally smacked herself then bit her lip.

"T-t-hank you..."
