"Lin Ru, let's go on that part again"

Zhao Tan said to Lin Ru who was in the recording room who answered with a okay sign in return.

Currently, we were in the recording room and the room was packed with most of the employees.

From people like Uncle Zhang to Bai Shu, most of the employees were here.

Only some employees who were working on the album production or were busy outside were not here.

Looking at Lin Ru singing in the recording room, I couldn't help but think that my decision was correct.

Her voice was clear and there was a peaceful feeling to it. She was also not nervous, she was confident and the recording process was going smoothly.

"You want me to be more and more gentle"

"I hope that you put me in my heart"

"You said that you want to send me a romantic dream"

"Thank you, I will bring you to heaven"

"Even if it takes a lifetime to complete"

Lin Ru's voice was flowing out like river water. Her voice had already captivated most of the people in the studio and they all have satisfied faces.

"I can think of the most romantic….."

"Stop! Lin Ru, let's go at that part again"

"Huh! Okay"

"President, what's wrong with this part"

Zhao Tan who was sitting besides me said to me. He was acting as the main producer of the song as we don't have any other employees but he was working really hard.

"I think her voice is somewhat high in this part, how about we lower it a little. I think it will be better"

"You think so, then let's go with that"

Zhao Tan nodded as he started doing some arrangements on the song. He wasn't particularly unsatisfied with my interruption as I was the president and also the songwriter of the song.

It wasn't like I was a professional or I really felt that there was something wrong with it. I was only comparing the original version of my world and the song Lin Ru was singing.

In the original, that part was sung somewhat lower. That's why I told Lin Ru to go at it again.

"I can think of the most romantic….."

"Wow, president, it has really gotten better. I really like this part now. As expected of you who has written this song, you obviously know more about it"

Zhao Tan said energetically to me.

"Let's go on the rest of the recording quickly"

"You worked hard today, president"

Zhao Tan said to me as he passed me a cup of coffee. We were currently in the lounge resting after a day of recording.

"No, it's composer Zhao who had worked hard. You have been working on the songs tirelessly"

"Haha, is that so"

He was seemingly delighted being praised by me as he had a large smile on his face.

"Ms. Lin is really a good singer. Her voice really is something else"

"Yeah, I think she will be perfect for the mini album"

"I also think that. Her personality is also amiable. She has already befriended most of the employees especially the female ones"

After only a day of meeting, Lin Ru had made a good reputation for himself. She was cute and friendly, no one could be dissatisfied with her.

Although she has trouble trusting because of her trauma, she is doing her best.

"You know president, I am really thankful to you that you didn't choose to sell this company"

Zhao Tan said with a grateful face.

"Why?"

I asked with confusion. From what I know, Zhao Tan is working in Global entertainment for just a year.

If he wants, he can just work in another company. With his skills, any company would want him.

"Actually, if it wasn't for your father, I wouldn't even have been able to work in a entertainment company"

"Composer Zhao, I think that with your skills any company would want you. So, why…."

"I am actually a dropout of a music university"

"Huh"

Zhao Tan interrupted me as he said that but I didn't mind that. The words he said was more crucial right now.

"Actually, when I was studying in a music university, I got into a fight with someone. He was from a pretty influential family and I have to dropout from the university"

Zhao Tan narrated his story with a sad face. It was a classical story of how by offending someone you can't afford to offend, your whole life can end.

In his university, he offended a rich young master and then that young master family worked in behind the scenes to expel him.

That's how the story goes. After that, he started going around entertainment companies to look for work but he was rejected everytime because he was a dropout.

By coincidence, my father came to know about him and after seeing his talent gave him a job.

My father was someone who didn't see qualifications but someone hard work and talent. That's why Zhao Tan got this job.

"I am actually thinking of starting my own studio if the company was going to shut down. I am really glad that I don't have to do that and I can….."

I interrupted him as I said.

"The company is still on the verge of collapse, you know"

"Huh"

"Let's work hard to make it a success, Composer Zhao"

I said to the stupefied Zhao Tan who was still processing my words but after a while, there was a smile on his face as he said.

"Yeah, let's make it a success, president"

It wasn't that I can't think of what Zhao Tan had gone through. He was someone whose dream was literally destroyed by someone he had just slightly offended.

Anybody would be devastated at that. Hearing about Zhao Tan story, I again realized that the entertainment industry is a deep sea.

You have to be careful at every point or your boat will sink in the endless deep sea.
