"You have been frequently coming here now"

The bartender asked me as he was polishing the glass.

"Yeah"

I replied vaguely as I glanced at the stage. It's been three days since I had started visiting the Blue Dive bar.

I was here for only one reason, it was because I wanted to recruit Lin Ru.

There are a ton of female singers for me to choose for my album but I was adamant on choosing her. There was only one reason behind this.

It was because of her star evaluation. She was a person who had a star rank of A.

I can't let go of such person and even if I choose another person for my album, I can't think that she can compare to Lin Ru.

"You are really set on convincing her to sign a contract with your company, huh"

"Yeah, she's the only one I can look for"

He was silent for a while as he looked at me with a complicated expression and after a while, he finally said some words.

"Why are you trying so hard to convince her?"

"It's just because I think I will regret it if she only stayed within this bar"

"....you are ready different from those usual noveau riches, huh"

"I am not even a rich second generation"

I said as I looked at the bartender with confusion. Although my father was the president of a company, the company was in loss for a long time.

Second rich generation! I was not even close to that. My family condition was only mediocre at best.

"You are not a second rich generation but aren't you the president of a entertainment company"

"Being a president of a entertainment company didn't mean that I was a rich second generation"

"You really aren't a young master"

"No, I am not. I would rather be a rich first generation than become a young master"

The bartender looked at me like he was thinking something. After a while, he deeply sighed and said.

"I think a misunderstanding had happened between you and Lin Ru"

"Misunderstanding?"

"Yeah, it seems like she thinks of you as a rich young master"

"I can somewhat tell why she think like that but what had that go to do with me?"

"No, that Lin Ru, her past trauma is related to a young master"

"Her past trauma has been related to a young master?"

I asked confused, the reason why I had been coming to this bar wasn't only because I wanted to hear Lin Ru sing, it was also because I wanted to find in more detail what had happened to her.

It can help me if I want to convince her but I wasn't able to get any information in these last three days.

The bartender had shut his mouth close and even the waiters hadn't told me anything.

Now that the bartender was telling me something, I can't miss it.

"Lin Ru, that girl, the company she was recruited by was run by a young second generation. He was rich, handsome and a playboy. He easily captured her heart. At that time, she was just a girl who had came from the countryside with nothing but her dreams. She was naive back then"

"So, the reason she was angry that day was because she thought that I was also just like that bastard"

"Yeah, she must have thought like that. That girl was a little shaken after meeting you"

"Yeah, she just left the room after hearing that I was the president"

While we were talking, it seems like Lin Ru performance on the stage had started.

Just like always, no one speak anything during her performance and everybody was listening to her with a calm face.

There was a silent atmosphere inside the bar and only the sound of soulful singing can be heard.

'She really perfect'

I thought as I glanced at her on the stage. Today she was wearing a skirt, not too short and not too long, it was perfect and with the blue hairpin on her hair, she really was looking beautiful.

As expected of someone with a A rank appearance. She was like a shining star that people can't help but look over.

When I was listening to her singing, I heard some voices that sounded annoyed.

It was some loud voices and the words weren't something that I can simply ignore.

"Hey, that bitch really is acting pure out there"

"Yeah, she's just a prostitute, she is really acting all pure like that"

"If it wasn't because of that accident, she would still be a prostitute sleeping with influential men to gain connections".

The voices were loud, so all the people in the bar can listen to it and the faces of the people were also distorted hearing it

Many people just wanted to stand up and argue with the people who had just said those words but they were afraid after seeing the burly men behind those men who had said those words.

Those who had said those words were young and were wearing expensive clothes. They were probably some rich young masters and I can conclude from their words that they knew something about Lin Ru's past.

Those rich young masters weren't listening to the song and just talking among themselves in loud voices.

There voices were loud enough that even Lin Ru who was on the stage was able to hear it.

Her face was also upset listening those voices but she still focused on her song.

Amidst those hurtful words, Lin Ru still finished her song and quickly bowed towards everyone and walked of to leave the stage but before she could do that, those young masters shouted towards her.

"Hey bitch, where are you going. We aren't satisfied yet"

"Yeah, did this place didn't think of their customers. I want to hear a good song"

"Yeah, we want to hear a really good song, how about we go to a private room and you can sing us a really good song"

Lin Ru's steps faltered hearing their voices and I can faintly see that her eyes were red.

Several people in the bar were angry and I too was, those young masters were really going overboard.

Although, the people in the bar don't dare to do anything because of the bodyguards but this doesn't mean I will also not do anything.

So, in that moment, I shouted towards those young masters.

"Hey, bastards, can't you shut your mouth because I am getting angry over here"
