1 Fall

A blinding light appeared in front of him, which he reach out forward to grab but all of a sudden, he found himself looking down at the ground, roughly 10 feet beneath him, while he felt a small force tugging on his collar. He looked behind to see his shirt stuck on a branch as he thought to himself 'Where am I?' but before his thoughts could completely manifest, he heard the sound of something ripping, he saw the ground getting closer to him and soon, darkness enveloped his vision.

...

When he got up, his thoughts still weren't clear but he was frightened when he heard a voice

which excitingly exclaimed "Richard!', and it was a voice which he was a bit too familiar with, but one he though he would not hear again. The voice he heard was slightly high-pitched

and when he looked at the source of the sound, he saw a boy who seemed to be around 16 years of age, his 5'8 height, which made him look taller than those of the same age, his face looked like it had been forged by the gods... but then an angel accidentally broke it and was given a few minutes to make a replica. That face belonged to his best friend Isho, the future hero of mankind, the one who fought with all his might against the demons but eventually fell at the hands of the Demon King Halgeere, when he single-handedly barged into his castle in order to eliminate mankind's greatest enemy. He was delighted to see his friend's ill-favoured face, but suddenly was overwhelmed at the feeling of dread when he remembered his previous 'life'. While does thoughts ran across his mind, his childhood memories flooded his mind when suddenly realized that he was brought back to the day right after Isho's birthday, a year prior to the horrific invasion of the Demon King's army. He looked at Isho with a meloncholic gaze and a few years proceeded to roll down his eyes, while he returned a confused, yet worried gaze at him. He suddenly realized the awkwardness of the situation for Isho and wiped away his tears.

He suddenly felt the urge to give his friend a big hug though his rationality prevented him from doing so, and he just went back to sleep, thinking it was just a dead man's dream.
