1: Transmigrated

Huang Jing Xuan sat on the corner of the library as she flips through the novel 'Entangled with the Prince'. She was half way reading through the novel when she peered outside the window from the second floor, she furrowed her eyebrows at the scene.

Stray cats and dogs are running about in a hurry, the birds on the roof of houses also started flying away all in the same direction. All of a sudden, the entire library started shaking vigorously. Book started falling off the book shelves and Huang Jing Xuan was stumbling slightly as she reaches her hand out and grabbed the bookshelf to stabilise herself.

"Earthquake..." she mutters as she tightly gripped onto the novel and the bookshelf. Another strong shock came and the bookshelf started toppling down.

Huang Jing Xuan widens her eyes in shock as she felt the heavy bookshelf hit against her head, she fell to the ground losing her consciousness.

"Miss Jing Xuan! Miss Jing Xuan!" She heard noises by her ears as she slowly flutter her eyes open. Her vision blurry, she bought her hand up to her eyes and rubbed them.

As her vision cleared up, she slowly looked up. There were 2 young ladies kneeling by her side, in weird clothing. She turn her head away from them and took in her surrounding, this isn't a hospital...

"Miss!" The lady kneeling called out.

"Who are you?" Huang Jing Xuan asked.

"Miss! Have you forgotten me?! Nubi is Mimi!"

"Could Eldest Miss have lost her memory because she knocked her head while escaping the assassins?!" The girl beside Mimi asked.

"Oh god! Call master! Call master!" Mimi shouted as the girl beside her rushed out to inform master.

'Mimi... why is her name so familiar?'

"My Jing er... have you forgotten us?" A man around the age of 40 walked in, the corners of his eyes slightly redden as he looked at Huang Jing Xuan.

Although the man was already 40 plus he looked very young and healthy with a lively air around him. His hair brushed away from his face and his beard cleanly shaved away giving off a very refreshing vibe.

"Who are you?" Huang Jing Xuan asked meekly.

"Ah!? Oh god Jing er she does not remember me! Call the physician!" He commanded as he walked closer towards her and sat on the edge of her bed.

Very quickly the physician arrived, Mimi placed a thin silk cloth over Jing Xuan's wrist as the physician took her pulse.

"General Mu do not have to worry, Eldest Miss health is alright. However, perhaps due to the hit on her head she had lost her memories."

"Will she recover her memories?" General Mu, Mu Xuan De asked.

"That depends. She might recover, she might not recover. If her past memory is not important, you shouldn't force her to remember. Forcing her to remember will inflict pain to her head. I will prescribe some calming medicine and diffusing blood medicine have Miss drink it after every meal. Then i shall take my leave."

"Xi Er send the physician out." The other girl beside Mimi stood up and escorted the old physician out.

"Furen"General Mu called out.

Furen: wife.

Lee Jiao Yu, walked into the room her eyes swollen from crying which are still red. She immediately rushed towards Huang Jing Xuan bed and grabbed onto Jing Xuan's hand as she cried.

"My Jing Er have suffered... its all mother's fault..." she sobs.

Although Huang Jing Xuan wasn't sure what was going on but she felt a connection towards General Mu and wife. She was an orphan and had never felt such parental love before, her heart couldnt help but swell.

She slowly got up and was pulled into an embrace by Lee Jiao Yu. Lee Jiao Yu cried as she stoke Huang Jing Xuan's head.

"Whats my name?" Jing Xuan asked softly.

Lee Jiao Yu eyes widen and more tears were threatening to spill out however she held back and smiled sweetly at her.

"You're called Mu Jing Xuan."

Jing Xuan widen her eyes as she couldn't believe her ears.

'No wonder Mimi's name sounded so familiar... she is one of the side character's servant, and now i am that side character... Mu Jing Xuan. Initially i took interest in the novel because of the side character that have a similar name and personality as me... never would i have thought i had transmigrated into the novel.'

"Can i have some alone time... my head hurts... i think i remembered something..." she mutters softly to her mother.

"Of course. Everyone dismissed, nobody is to disturb Eldest Miss's rest. Master, lets leave." Lee Jiao Yu places a gentle kiss on Jing Xuan's forehead and left the room.

"Assassination attempt... that is the start of the story. Guan Yu Xuan the main female lead, Mu Jing Xuan's best friend, and a popular girl well-liked by all. She had always been jealous of Mu Jing Xuan because Mu Jing Xuan was prettier and more talented then her so she wanted her dead.

As his highness crown prince are childhood friends with both Guan Yu Xuan and Mu Jing Xuan, Guan Yu Xuan is worried that his highness crown prince will like Mu Jing Xuan as she is prettier and more talented. When the prince came back from his training, Mu Jing Xuan opens up her feeling towards the prince to Guan Yu Xuan and her hatred and killing intend increased. She set traps and more assassins to kill her.

Afterwards, Guan Yu Xuan realises that his highness crown prince likes her and she was overjoyed but her intentions to kill Mu Jing Xuan had not subsided. As she knows about Mu Jing Xuan's love for his highness crown prince, Guan Yu Xuan told the prince and made him take her as a concubine.

She guides her to make mistakes and eventually made the crown prince kill her. More female side characters appears and she intend to kill every single one of them who eyes the prince. When she was kidnapped by some bandits, she was saved by one of the Kingdom's prince and  fell in love with that country's prince." Jing Xuan whispered as she recalls the plot, she had only read through half of the book.

"God! If only i read more often! If i did I would've already finish reading the novel and know what happens... I'll be able to know who was the actual male lead... and all the other side male characters who are infatuated with Yu Xuan and to avoid them."

Jing Xuan groans as she started panicking.

"Whatever i must first try to survive the first half of the story... First of all, i need to get far away from Guan Yu Xuan, all the hateful and dangerous side characters and also far away from his highness crown prince too."

After deciding, she slowly relaxes her mind and drifted off to sleep.
