"Miss, You've been discharged so you can leave today when you're ready"
YiMing stood to be. fore the window, looking out the hospital room. She had her eyes on the road, looking at vehicles and certain people passing by the road.
"But....."
She listened the nurse continued "The lady the other time Hasn't shown up... And you're yet to pay your hospital bill and all. Do you want us to call anyone to do it for you?" The nurse questioned.
On hearing what she said, she felt dejected. NaYin was gone, and there was no one whom she could run to at a time like this.
She simply stood there without saying anything. She didn't even know what to say. She stood there looking out as though the solution would come from outside.
Just then another nurse Walked in "Oh. Miss Wu, Forget about the payment and just get ready to leave" She said.
"Why?" The other nurse asked.
"Well, a mysterious man came here not so long ago...And he made your payment and signed the documents as your guardian. He kept it anonymous, so..you can now leave when you're ready" She said as she left.
"Okey then, Leave when you're all set up," The first nurse said as she too left
YiMing stood there, still looking out. The words of the nurses were Still going ugh her mind. Someone antonymous paying on her behalf. Now her mind wondered who it could be?
She didn't have anyone close enough to pay for her. Talk more of any guy being her guardian.
Randomly, she recalled The Grim reaper, but she quickly waved the thoughts off. Firstly, he wasn't that kind to do such a thing, he couldn't. And yet again, he was a ghost. so it was technically impossible.
At the moment, she wasn't even in the mood to think about it. She was still feeling sad and empty inside. She simply concluded it as God's blessing. Maybe if it was destined, she'd meet him someday...

YiMing was set to leave by evening. She didn't bring anything with her. so all she did was get changed into her casual dress and then left.
It was night as she got down from the bus. Under the streetlight, she walked by the roadside heading home.
She was moody, her eyes ahead of where she went. she didn't seem to be thinking much about anything. She was Just moving by the roadside. she even seemed exhausted to get home.
As she roamed the almost empty street under the streetlights. She looked around at the few people who passed by.
Based on her minor observation, none of them were alone. Physically or mentally.
Most she saw were two or even three as they chatted while passing by. While some were on their phones.. chatting with their close ones.
No one was alone...
YiMing Guessed she was the only one who was alone... physically and mentally. This made her feel down...and dejected. And it mostly made her remember NaYin...
She caught Sight of someone unusual. It was a ghost.
She watched as the female ghost stand there in the middle of the street watching as people walked past with their pairs. She Seemed down and dejected too watching them.
YiMing stopped at a distance watching her. She couldn't seem to spot the difference between both of them...In summary, they were both lonely.
"who said it was fun living?" YiMing Said to herself "If this is what it looks like living...maybe it'd be better if I become a ghost...then I'd know at least I'm not living. But it's a pity...I can't even die, I'd probably be back" She Said.
YiMing finally arrived at the house she lived with her aunt. On entering, her aunt who was watching TV looked up at her.
"Hey. Where have you been all these days? It seems You're all grown up and ready to sleep outside...If so tell me so I'll take your stuff outside" She snapped.
YiMing stood there and watched her for a while. She said or did nothing but watched her.
"Hey... what are you looking at? Are you now glaring at me like that?!" She questioned.
YiMing gave a slight bow "I'm sorry for making you worried...I won't do it again" She said as she headed to her room.
YiMing closed the door behind her as she entered her casual-looking room. She leaned on the door and slowly bent down, finally hugging her legs.
"Sorry for making you worried..."
She recalled her words which rather sounded ironical. She Knew Her aunt never even cared about her or worried about it. All she did was look at fault and she had nothing to say, she simply said what she thought would be ok.
Her Aunt never cared about her...or even looked at her to see if she was happy or not. Sometimes YiMing wondered if this was a good thing. She could never tell anyway
Slowly, she dug her head in-between her legs and sobbed.

The black Car pulled over before a company the next day. The driver dressed in a black suit got out and came to open the back door. Lili walked out.
Looking stunning as expected, Lili ran a hand through her hair as she pulled out her Fancy sunglasses. She looked at the large company with the heading
- LI COMPANY ENTERPRISE -
She had a Long satisfied smile on her face as she put the glasses on again and majestically walked into the company.
People around had their eyes on the undoubtedly beautiful lady. Dressed in a red suit with red trousers, she was indeed looking hot and Worth the gaze.
Boys around found it hard to look away from her. She was a man killer anyways.
As she stepped into the company, eyes were on her as expected. And she felt good about it. It seemed like an honor because soon or later she was going to dominate this Place and make it her territory.
She stopped before the receptionist counter and said "Get me My husband's Secretary" She said.
The dashingly beautiful wife of the CEO! Everyone in the company knew who she was. From time to time she had come to the company but not for office work. She had also attended conferences and others with CEO Li and had appeared on Tv and on the news. So the fact of her being the wife of CEO Li wasn't something kept a secret!
"Oh..." The receptionist had called on her.
And after a while, a nerdy girl in glasses rushed out to meet Lili.
"Is the meeting room ready, and did they wait for me for long?" She asked.
"Huh?" The secretary was confused "You mean..?"
Lili looked at her and pulled off her glass "Eh...are you sure you're his secretary? or are you blind in the brain? it's been a few days since my husband passed out, So isn't it obvious I'm taking over?"
The secretary seemed more confused "Dead? But...."
"No buts, where is the meeting room? They must have waited for me for long"
"Well... It's over there .." The secretary pointed "But CEO Li is in there for over an hour now" she said.
Lili paused looking at her "What the hell are you saying?. I lost my husband and you're making jokes with him? Do you want to lose your job?!"
"But ...I'm saying the truth," She said
Lili glared at her as she walked past the secretary and headed to the meeting room
"Mrs. Li, wait up... They're in the middle of a meeting..."She said as she followed Lili behind.
Lili arrived at the meeting room as she pushed the door open grabbing the attention of all in there. Her eyes had first fallen on the person sitting in the head seat.
To her greatest surprise, it was Li Sichen?!
