1 First day at office

Violet Collins rolled out of the bed with a notification on her phone. It is 12.00pm at noon. she took a glimpse at the notification which woke her up. It's from Euro news agency. "Wait, what?"

It's from 'EURO NEWS agency' and the message said that she's hired! Euro news agency is one of eminent news channel in this country.

"Ahhhhh!" she screamed with joy. Her father and brother startled and rushed to her room to check if she's fine. She hugged both of them tightly and started to say "Papa, bro, I have been selected as a journalist trainee in Euro news."

It's night 9.00pm, tomorrow is a big day for her. She shouldn't say a word about why she's hankering to enter that particular news channel. The day ended without happening anything in particular.

Violet woke up by alarm at 6.00am in the morning. Took a shower and she didn't forget to put on her lucky dress. She doesn't want to be late for her first day in office. She reached her destination after travelling for 15 minutes.

Now she's in front of H.O of Euro news. She is desperately waiting for this moment since 8 years, No..... 10 years. She clenched her fists and entered the building. There were many trainees like Violet there. It's exactly 9.00am.

A woman in her middle age came to them(trainees) and handed over the ID cards with their names, teams and along with the team leads. After few moments a girl cute looks came to Violet asking if she too was assigned in the same team as her which is the team leaded by Nichole. Violet took a look at her own ID card and there was a line "Team leads: Nichole".

The girl said that her name is "KYLE ". Violet didn't have friends since childhood, except for her brother and Papa who were her best friends. Kyle was really talkative. Only by talking to her for a while they made a new bond between them as friends. The duo headed to the department to which they are assigned. The receptionist guided them to follow the red line to reach the department.

On their way to Dept Violet found that......OMG Kyle is a chatter box! Due to Kyle's cutest looks she couldn't stop her from talking.

"Oh God! Please have mercy on me and let us reach our dept as soon as possible." Violet thought to herself. She felt like crying but has no tears. "Finally!!!!! God really is kind." she can't help but cry in happiness.

They slowly opened the door where the red line ended and there stood a middle - aged woman. "Wait! isn't she famous crime news reporter, NICHOLE" Violet couldn't help but stood there surprised. It is said that Nichole is sweet and nice onscreen but cold and strict I reality.

Violet and Kyle each introduced themselves as they entered. Nichole explained their working hours, lunch break and daily office routine. In their dept there are 5 members

Violet, Kyle, editor Sam, camera man and Team leader - Nichole. They were told to occupy the seats and to organize the pile of files before them. Nichole was a great crime reporter 10 years ago. Why did she suddenly declare that she will not be taking crime news anymore from that day. May be Nichole has the answers that she (Violet) is in search of.

As Violet is in her own thoughts, Nichole thrown a file in front of Kyle and her. Nichole continued "Prepare a complete and detailed report on ETHAN WILLIAMS, a most successful business man - CEO of ET Ltd. Also, This must be done within a month. The report must be detailed as I said, Or else don't even think about staying in this agency." Even though Kyle and Violet are confident, they were really intimidated by the cold aura emitting from their so called TEAM LEADER - NICHOLE. Nichole finally left and they unconsciously let out a sigh of relief. They too didn't want to mess up their first task and they were filled with high spirits and slightly excited about their task.

They were informed that the transport and food will be arranged by Ethan's company. Finally their day in office was about to end. Kyle was in a happy mood as she was given a task relating to Ethan Williams who is one of most handsome men in this City as she was always a great admirer of good - looking men. On the other hand Violet was not at all happy because, this is not she wanted.

Violet bid goodbye to Kyle and her total team. It is 6.00pm. All employees left. Yes, it is perfect time for Violet to search for answers she has been dying to know since 10 years. She logged into a computer and searched for criminal files. She suddenly had a feeling that someone is watching her. "Is someone watching me!" she turned around to make sure. "OH Man! If anyone finds out what I am doing right now, my job would be at stake. I couldn't lose my job at any cost... At least after coming this far!" she thought to herself.

"Holy moly! Only 10 minutes are left to close office gates. I need to make it fast." she was literally shaking, she slowly clicked the 'criminal file' on the desktop. "What the..! It needs a password to open it!"

she cried being totally disappointed. She came out of the office and vowed to herself "Mom, I will never give up until I find you. I promise."
