Ryan kept looking at the small and limp body that rose and fell just a little, the only indication that the demon was still breathing. Ryan brought up his hands together and lifted himself up. The knives had flown out of his hand and lay a few feet away from him.

He looked at the knives at the same time the other demon saw them too. Both of them lunged at the blades at the same time. The demon got hold of the blades and Ryan tried getting them out of his hold. No matter how hard he fought, it was the blade that would kill the brakyen. 

The demon got up from the floor and Ryan hung from his back, climbing on his shoulders. The demon swayed a little, his hammer shaped head making it difficult to see and attack Ryan.
