116 Raising hell

Ryan killed the ignition and stepped out of the car. He surveyed the building that had crusty paint peels and graffiti drawn haphazardly with colorful paint splattered on some of the walls. Bottles and cigarette stubs littered the floor along with unwanted items such as metal rods, old rags, and other household stuff. It looked like a perfect place for carrying out illicit activities for criminals.

Ryan checked his watch, and he was happy to know that he had reached on time. He seldom was late anywhere. He was a punctual guy who valued time, a trait he had inherited from his father.

Now, if only he could get this right. Unsure of how to kill time, he saw a broken door at one of the sides of the building that was hanging from its hinges. He peered at it and heard something. Curious, he put on his mobile's torchlight and went ahead, picking his way through the broken bits of glass, discarded piles of clothes.
