The oxygen supply to his brain was beginning to lower and he was beginning to see small white lights in front of his eyes.

Ryan swung his legs up and rammed his heels in the brakyen's stomach with all the power he could muster. The demon's hold loosened just a bit but it was enough for Ryan to get an opening. He flung the demon's hands away and landed on the floor clumsily.

He quickly rolled over and grabbed the knives sending the demon hurtling down once again. The brakyen hissed and shrieked, the pain of the wounds making him cry and wail like a madman. 

Before the brakyen had a chance to get up and attack, Ryan rammed one of the knives straight into his stomach. The demon thrashed trying to get hold of Ryan but he had quickly taken a few steps back.
