104 Oneiro

Alice looked at Jake meaningfully. They all knew what Jake meant by Oneiro being a burdensome trait. It was rumored to be a power rivaled by none but anyone who had that power had to pay a hefty price. 

And the thought worried all of them. They had only heard of it as a rumor, of a great and unearthly power that could help someone access the deepest thoughts, ambitions, and desires of the good and the bad powers of the heaven and the hell.

Nobody knew how the power came to be, what was the reason someone had it, or what they were supposed to do with it. It had been several hundred thousand years before they had even discussed the topic.

Oneiro was practically an ancient myth, a folklore. But, maybe Zara was about to change that. At least, that's what Ryan was thinking. And, he could be younger than most demons but his knowledge and rationale outperformed every other demon's intelligence.
