129 Just look at me

Ryan saw the big lizard-like creature on the ground thrashing at the furniture and Zara struggling to keep away from its reach. 

His features hardened as the muscles in his face went taut and he got up, massaging his knee. Grimacing a bit, he shouted at the top of his voice, "Get in the light" and proceeded to walk in the kitchen but the other guy pulled him back by holding his shoulders and dragging him down. Ryan's head met the table as the now fuming attacker kept hitting him viciously landing blows upon blows on him.

The attacker let go of his cover-up to reveal all of his green skin and the limb fingers with long nails. He jabbed his fingers, the long talons digging in Ryan's back and Ryan cursed under his breath as he bit back his tongue to not scream and startle the already petrified Zara.
