Before Ryan knew what was happening, Zara had yanked at his shirt and their lips were inches apart from each other. She looked into those eyes that stared at her back. She was acutely aware of his hands that were trembling, hesitant to hold her waist and pull her close.

Her eyes were heated pools of desire, of want, and of yearning. She looked at him as if she would lick him clean. The boldness in her eyes scared him a bit. She was always shy and a bit laid back, never feisty and direct. He wasn't sure if he liked her this way or the way she was always with him-shy and reserved.

Their breaths mingled with each other and for a while, they just kept staring at each other, each daring the other to take the first step. When Ryan couldn't hold back himself any longer he tried taking her by surprise. His strong and muscular hands went around her and she stifled a gasp. This was what she had wanted, what she dreamed about and craved for since she had seen him.
