Ryan gave a smirk and spoke "There is no point in hiding it. I have seen enough."

He took out the knife from his back pocket and slashed at the brakyen who winced when his dagger sliced through the brakyen's tough skin. Ryan's blade was made to cut through most demon hides- be it scales, shells, or exoskeletons. 

Had the demon consumed the blood, it would have been a different story but he hadn't so it was fair for now. The vial fell from his hand but Ryan jumped in the air and caught it after doing a somersault and landing on his feet. He looked around for the bottle's lid and found the discarded wooden stopper lying on the ground.
