Ryan imagined Zara holding him down and his mind went into all kinds of different scenarios that didn't involve the medicine. He shook his head to clear those images out. 

Focus, focus!

He told himself and sighed. His twin sister was glaring daggers at him and Zara was merely glancing from him to Alice and back at his face, unsure if she should take a step forward or retreat and flee.

Ryan snatched the bottle from Alice's hands and looked at it with scorn. He made a face and took a swig from it as if it were some exotic drink. Though, he coughed hard and was almost going to spit it out before he closed his mouth and gulped it down forcefully.

The medicine immediately made him feel better as it entered his system, relieving him of his light-headedness and fatigue. He felt a lot better and could focus on things clearly now.

Alice walked upto him and held his chin in her hand, moving his face left and right, looking for possible injuries.
