Her hand was injured and she couldn't run out of a moving car. She dug her hand in her bag and searched for her phone that had the ability to magically disappear beneath all the stuff she crammed in the little bag.

Reaching for it, she pulled out her phone and was about to hit the call button against Ryan's number when Reggie suddenly stopped. Her phone fell from her hand and her thumb slipped on the call button.

She hadn't given Ryan a call in a long time, yet his was the first name that came to her mind when she was troubled. 

Reggie stepped out of the car and walked around to knock on her side of the window. Het tapped gently on the glass and her phone slipped further down. She could hear the faint sound of the ringing and prayed to God that Ryan wouldn't receive the call.
