18 BACKLASH

The morning came and so was Rustain who just woken up his eyes were still closed as he tried to stretch his body, he realized something.

"Haaaa~~, that was a good sleep. Huh?? Wait how did I get in the bed and what's this heavy feeling?" Russian said, he tried to stand but he couldn't get up because of something pinning him. "Wait what is this feeling?"

Rustain reached inside the blanket, a soft bouncy pillow met his hands, this made Rustain curious and tries to grab it and a sudden sound startled Rustain.

"AHHH~~~~"

The sound of moaning forced Rustain's body to jolt from shock, He is startled and tried to move away by standing forcefully but the thing that is pinning him made Rustain's body weight to be imbalance and cause him to fall from the bed.

Rustain fall to the floor and reveals Sei who was hugging him tightly, Sei's breast is pressed against Rustain's body, and her breath touches the bare chest of Rustain.

"Shit what is this, how did I get into the bed, last night I swear that I was sleeping on the chair," Rustain said as he tried to push Sei away from him but for some reason, Rustain could not push Sei away, she wouldn't budge. "Wake up!!"

Rustain is pushing Sei as hard as he can but she would still not budge, Rustian unable to move was left in the same position his head on the floor, Sei hugging him, and his back half of it is still on the bed. Thirty minutes had passed and Sei is still dead asleep.

A sudden shout was heard outside the voice of the old man was heard.

"Breakfast is ready, Sei and Rustain wake up." The old man shouted.

"Seriously, What a morning the old man seems to be so comfortable in saying my name as for me I can't even say Grandpa easily" Rustain mumbled. "And this girl she is a sleepyhead, I can't believe I would be living with this girl, and every morning would be the same scene, I could already smell the food from outside, it's making me hungry."

"FOOD!!" Sei woke up and immediately rushed over to the door. "HUNGRY!!" She stumbled on her words as she is still half asleep.

Sei rushed to the door and she was not alone on her hand is the left foot of Rustain.

"God damn it, WAKE UP!!!!" Rustain shouted and a black force of intense mana condensation suddenly burst inside of Rustain making a slight explosion only enough to separate Him and Sei.

Rustain rolled on the floor while Sei was pushed down and seems surprised.

"What was that?" Sei's eyes were left wide open as she glared at Rustain. "Why am I on the floor?" Confusingly she asks.

"Rustain? Sei? What happen?" The old man enters the scene and saw Rustain two meters away from Sei while both are on the floor. The old man analyzed the situation and immediately had a conclusion, he looked at Ruatain worriedly but smiled as he looked at Sei. "Never mind that Sei it's breakfast time I already prepared the food outside."

Sei nodded and carefree as she is she rushed outside while thinking food in her mind, as soon Rustain and the old malware left, Rustain tried to stand up the old mN immediately aided Rustain.

"Sir, I'm fine and that sound was nothing it's only me stumbling hard." Rustain tried to argue away bit the old man looked him in the eyes, then Rustain remembered that " oh, right you have insight. Sigh~~"

"don't worry I'll not dig deeper into this matter but its best try not to use magic, as you can see you had a backlash, and I don't need my insight to know how it went" the old man walk Rustain to the bed and let him sit there "you may not believe me but I made some conclusion last night about your situation, it's regarding your body."

The old man looked at Rustain with a serious look and Rustain became nervous.

"Sir what do you mean is that wrong with my magic and body?" Rustain said as he narrowed his eyebrows as he felt the uneasy air in the to.

"Didn't I told you to call me grandpa? Sigh~~ that's not right now the problem is both your magic and body seems to be rejecting your body" the old man said.

"Huh? What do you mean, I used magic earlier and I seem fine" Rustain said in defense.

"That was just the first who knows what would happen if you used a proper spell, it's only safe to assume that you should avoid using magic," the old man said " that's only I can tell you, for now, you better hurry and go out Sei is a big eater," the old man said.

"Okay sir, I mean grandpa" Rustain said, he paused for a bit and looked at the old man.

*Is this the work of Kuro, but based on the contract it's stated he would do everything for my best interest, is this one of his trials or just a game that he enjoyed watching?* Rustain began thinking about the situation.

The old man smiled and patted Rustain by the head making Rustain aware of his surroundings again, the old man smiled as if he felt a feeling of satisfaction.

"How about let's leave this room together Rustain since your still not very familiar with the place although the house I mean cottage isn't that big but the place is, you might get lost while going to the place where we eat" the old man smiled warmly towards Rustain.

"Yes grandpa" Rustain smiled back as he replied to the old man.

In a place full of debris, broken stone pillars, foreign ancient writings can be seen inscribed on broken stone slabs, and a empty, lonely, and dreadful impression is on the place, it was a ruin located on top of a mountain a dozen miles away from where Rustain is.

Kuro can be seen walking and jumping over the debris passing every obstacle with his cat paws, he continued to walk until a huge door on the mountain wall can be seen, the door is slightly open and is made of stone but it emitted an ancient and powerful elemental energy. A strong gust of hot wind, water that contains strong electric components, and ice pillars greeted Kuro as he entered.

The place beyond the huge stone door looked isolated from the outside but everything inside is vivid there no need for a light sources from the outside because one of the two tall sized stone pillars located on the centers of six middle sized that surrounds it a bright light is emitted, the room had no shadow just a plane flat colors can be seen.

Kuro walked to the center and unnatural at it is he jumped on the second tallest pillar effortlessly and instantly the room gained a shadow, the two pillars on the center regulated the light and shadow of the room. One of the pillar that holds the light as it faces kuro it's back remained bright only a slight shadow emerge but as Kuro faces the light at his back a intense dark shadow engulfed the light and now the room became in balance of light and dark.

"Your late as always, Kuro" the mysterious light talked.

"Can't blame me, I was busy on talking to my contractor" Kuro replied.

"Boring, yaaawwnn~~" the light entity said. "How about let's start the meeting, lets call the elementals"

"I know well let's begin then" Kuro said.

"I the spirit of creation summon the elements, I who eradicate existence commands the life" spirit of creation.

"I the spirit of death summons the elements, I who eats existence commands the chaos" Kuro said together with the spirit of creation.

And lower pillars below the two started to tremble and one by one the following elements emerge on the six pillars. The ice, fire, Crystal, wind, lightning, and water form a semi-humanoid form.

"I guess you found out death" fire, wind, crystal, and water said in synchronization.
