10 Chapter 10

"Well done, a wonderfull finale!"

Enkid looked at the man in front of him. "But first rewards!"

Enkidu looked as he had gained 20,000 EP this time. "I do have to congratulate you on subduing that Wendigo though."

Enkidu raised his eyebrows, the man understood "Oh some measly attempt at reducing power costs from the other side."

He now had a total of 32,000 EP. The man grinned "You have enough for a status upgrade you know? It's only 25,000 EP for you to regain your former parameters." Enkidu nodded the man smiled as Enkidu felt his overall parameters rising back to A rank.

He smiled as he asked the man "what's next?" The man gave a bow as he told Enkidu a new surprising piece of news. "Unfortunately this is the last time you'll see me." Enkidu wouldn't admit it but he was quite fond of the old man and his antics.

"Why?"

The man smiled as he simply gave the blunt truth "You see I'm supposed to move onto guiding a new soul. This last meeting is just to tell you that you can set one world as a home world where you return to after you finish a mission. Everything else will be automated so you won't meet me again. Any inquires put it through your magical I.D"

Enkidu bowed gratefully as he thanked the old man for his guidance.

"No need, It's my job. By the way, knowing you, I'd probably set the next world as your home world." The old man gave a wave as the panel popped up with his missions.

[Defeat or Purify Angra Mainyu / The Holy Grail]

[Stop Sakura's Corruption]

The man grinned as he simply said "Gilgamesh will be there." The man wiggled his eyebrows as he thought to himself before opening his mouth.

I'd recommend you to buy something from the shop to help you in this quest. Enkidu nodded as he wondered what he could buy with the remaining 7,000 EP. The shop panel popped up as one big item took up most of the screen.

[Anti-Curse Properties!]

[BUY ME NOW!]

Enkidu tried scrolling past it but every time he did a panel popped up with the same item.

[BUY ME NOW! AND I MEAN NOW!]

Enkidu looked at the grinning old man as he gave a thumbs up. Enkidu smiled before pressing on it.

Surprisingly it was not that expensive. Only 2,000 EP Enkidu smiled he felt a small change in his very being as he looked at the man.

"Remember you can access the store from your Magical I.D." Enkidu nodded as the man finished his last bit.

"You'll be summoning a servant to help you as it'll mask your presence from Gilgamesh until you choose to reveal yourself. The timeline is slightly messed up so I wouldn't recommend showing yourself early."

Enkidu nodded as he faded into particles of gold as he shimmered out of existence. The old man sighed "Well he was a pleasant fellow. On to the next one."

Enkidu opened his eyes to find himself in a medium sized house as he figured that this would be his home.

A panel popped up as he looked at the wheel which had a note stuck to it.

[Your servant will be an extra in the holy grail war. Meaning you won't be directly participating.]

Enkidu looked at the wheel with seven different classes before he spun it with all his might. The wheel finally stopped on Assassin until a bit of wind blew it onto Caster. A flash of different servants flashed through the panel until the light brightened until Enkidu looked at the servant he had summoned before looking at his hand.

The red command seals were on his hand yet they were tiny. " Your reliable Shrine Maiden Fox, Caster, has now arrived! Are you my master?"

Enkidu was still sitting as he nodded as he stared at her. She wore blue robes and a mirror floated by her side. Two pairs of fluffy ears sat on top of her head while a bushy and fluffy tail. He was busy thinking about his past life until Caster squealed "So cute." Enkidu tilted his head in confusion as if he completely forgot that he had taken on a form that's beauty transcended gender.

Tamamo was looking at her cute master while he stared at her. She couldn't take anymore as she begged her master "Do something cute!" Enkidu was deep in thought as he remembered people liked fox ears just like caster's.

Caster watched as her master put his hands on top of his head before lifting them up to reveal fox ears. Caster almost had a nose bleed when he tilted his head to look at her. "Are you also a fox?" Enkidu shook his head "I'm clay, we haven't introduced ourselves have we?"

Caster looked shaken as she forgot to introduce herself properly. "I'll go first, I'm Enkidu, the chain of heaven." Caster asked "Are you a servant as well?" Enkidu shook his head "No I'm the genuine article." Caster nodded "My true name is Tamamo-no-Mae." Enkidu nodded his head before explaining the situation.

Tamamo nodded as she watched her master change his clothes with just a thought "He really is clay!". Enkidu walked towards the convenience store as he had to stock up on insta-meals and other food items to satisfy his cravings.

Tamamo watched as her master came back with piles of small boxes labeled "Pocky" She also noticed that she was summoned with better parameters as her new parameters are now.

Str: D

End: C

Agi: B

Man: A

Luk: D

She looked at her master who introduced himself as one of the strongest heroes in history. Enkidu she had done her research when her master left. Enkidu, clay shaped by the gods to restrain Gilgamesh, only for him to turn and become friends with the king. The rest she glossed over until the end of the Enkidu.

His ending was not a good one. Killed simply because he had helped the humans and defied the gods. Yet none of the sadness could be seen on his face, only a hint of loneliness.

Enkidu munched on the pocky as he thought about how to approach Gil. His past life dictates that he should jump him. His life as Enkidu told him to just approach him straight up, yet the second life personality was dominant as the first simply acted as memories.

He was going to jump a friend who also happened to be the King of Uruk.

But first he needed to finish eating this pocky and finding this Sakura.
