At the same time that the mate bond between Edward and Bella broke and was replaced, somewhere in a snowstorm Edward dropped to his knees in pain.

"Ahhhhhh" he let out a heart-wrenching scream as he endured the pain of having his mate bond forceful broken.

Even though the process between Joey and Bella was painless it was only because their aura acted together to form the bond and break the already existing one.

While one Edwards end it was done quickly and with immense force causing him to feel a lot of pain, more so than when he was turned into a vampire.

Edward could be seen rolling in the snow clicking his heart as venom leaked from his eyes and ears.

At this moment it was unsure what Edward was thinking, his mate bond was gone it could mean either his mate was dead or somehow the mate bond was destroyed.

Of course, currently, Edward didn't have the time to think of these things as he started spasming in pain.

The pain was so bad that at one point he lost his voice, unable to scream Edward was currently flopping around in the snow like a fish out of water.

This continued for hours until finally, the pain subsided, now he was left in the snow as he found the strength to claw his way back home.

As Edward clawed his way back home, Currently in forks Bella had finally opened her eyes and was looking around to find out where she was.

The last thing she remembered was a vampire biting into her neck and then the pain that assaulted her.

" Well, well, well look who finally woke up."

" Ahhhhhh" Bella screamed and covered her ears as she found the voice way too loud.

" Huh???" the voice sounded confused.

" What's her problem?" Ocean stepped forward and asked.

" It would seem she doesn't know how to control her newfound powers." Said Damon.

" But we did." said Kane

" Of course you did, you guys were werewolves before I turned you, she was a human I make sense she can't handle the enhanced senses yet."

" But it shouldn't take too long." said Damon

" Bella!!" Alice shouted not bothering with what Damon and the other just discussed.

Alice jumped onto Bella who was now in a fetal position holding her ears.

Then Alice seemed to finally notice to situation Bella was in as she spoke calmly and softly to her.

" Bella, I know it's hard but you need to calm down, just focus on my voice and block everything else out." Alice spoke

It took a while but Bella finally managed to stand up from her fetal position as she scanned the room to spot strangers as well as people who she knew.

When she did so she noticed three different connections, one of Damon, one to a young man who was watching her every move, and lastly to Rosalie's stomach, which she managed to figure out had to be a baby.

" I have a question for you, did you ask him to bite you?" asked Ocean pointing to the ground where the unconscious vampire was.

" Yes." Bella answered after looking in the direction Ocean pointed to

hearing the answer Ocean smiled, then he when on.

" Did you do it for the foolish vampire who left you here under the foolish thought that it would be best for you.?" asked Ocean

" Yes." Bella answered without hesitation, but her tone held no special feeling.

" So how do you feel now knowing that you almost died would you do it again, risking your life to be with someone who left you?" Ocean asked.

"No." She answered with no change in expression.

"Tch, at least you aren't as foolish as I heard then again if you were human still I bet your answer would have been different, I look forward to seeing how being a werewolf changes your personality." said Ocean as he turned and left clearly no longer entertained with what was happening.

" Werewolf?" Bella asked

" Yes, someone explain to her what happened while she was out and her power and what is expected of her, since she's fine I'm leaving, see you later Billy and Sam." said Damon as he and Rosalie left the others to go back to what they were doing.

While Damon and the others were at home, Edward was just now arrived at the Cullen residence.

he was in better shape than before, as he entered the house and Esme spotted him.

" Edward, what happened to you." she spoke

Her voice managed to alert the other members of the family in the house as they arrived to see the state of Edward.

" It's gone, it's gone." Edward repeated this over and over again like a broken record.

It seems whatever happened had finally broken Edward, if it was permanent or just temporary was to be seen.

" What's gone?" Esme asked

" My bond with Bella is gone." said Edward

When the rest of the family heard this they were shocked to hear this, a mate bond doesn't just disappear without warning or cause.

The first thing that they all thought was that Bella was dead.

After all, this was the only reason they knew of why a bond would disappear, all except Carlisle.

He stood to the side and watch them all while he thought to himself if what he was thinking was possible but after careful consideration, he knew Damon would be responsible for it.

But he couldn't think of why Damon would turn Bella into a werewolf.

" Let's not jump to conclusions, they are more than one way for a bond to disappear, but even if we find out why, I am certain that Damon would be involved in some way." said Carlisle
