On the other side...

"Annnd it's a wrap!" Morgan sighed. Her back was aching and she was dead tired. She laid on the floor with all the mess, she doesn't care anymore.

Logan only laughed at her. "Welcome to building and engineering, Morgan. But it's all worth it in the end right? After all, this is for your guy. Lucky bastard."

Morgan can only smile. Satisfied by their work.

She commissioned Logan to build a model bridge, a building, a chopper sitting on the roof deck of said building with the initials M.A. that stands for Mason Archibald, and some other structures that would complete her gift. The models were made out of high quality woods used for building. This was her gift for Mason.

Mason's birthday was in 3 days and they were doing a double time to finish everything up so that it'll be ready before then. Although she commissioned Logan for it, she wanted to take part in the building process so that it will have her personal touch. She have been coming back and forth at Logan's place to help him finish the work. She have been making up excuses to Mason just so that she can surprise him on his birthday. Mason likes building things that's why she decided on this gift. Now that everything's finished, she can finally relax.

She then told Logan to deliver it personally to Mason since she can't trust the courier to handle it with care. She can't bring it with her because Mason can freely enter her house and he might see it. She gave Logan 2 thousand dollars for the work. Logan was rendered speechless by the amount. 2 thousand dollars all for that?

"Morgan, this is too much! The work is not worth 2 thousand dollars" he said.

"Take it. This is my thanks to you. After all, this was rushed and took up plenty of your study time. You're relying only on scholarship, right? Add this to your funds. It's well deserved anyway" Morgan warmly stated. Logan was touched. Only very few people went a mile to help him.

"Thank you, Morgan."

Logan decided there and then that he will forever remain loyal to Morgan and would drop everything if she needs his help in the future. Morgan had been extremely kind to him. For the week that they have been working on the gift, not once did he feel hunger because Morgan also provided for food. And to be honest, food was a luxury he couldn't always afford. He thinks he might even have gained some weight! Not only was Morgan utterly beautiful and intelligent, she was really easy to deal with. Mason was really a lucky guy to have a chill girlfriend like Morgan. He was now totally envious of the guy (sigh).

"I'll leave this to your care then. See you whenever. Don't forget to deliver this on Mason's birthday, okay? Here's the address."

"Copy boss" Logan jokingly said.

Morgan then left and walked towards her car. But before she could enter her car, her phone ringed. Alexander was calling her. "Alex, I'm..."

"Morgan, come to mom's hospital. Mason and Brienne got in an accident" Alexander hoarsely said, cutting off Morgan.

Morgan's heart felt like it stopped beating. "I'm on my way", she said and rushed to the hospital. She had a very bad feeling about this.
