20 What Happened?

Trevon was still pretending to be unconscious in the middle of the night while Jack was guarding in front of the door. Jack just remembered Jerry half an hour ago. He had sent some guards to recall those who were searching including Jerry.

"Jack! Did you find young master?" Jerry asked. Today was the day where he ran the most in his life. He could be said to know almost every house around the former coin exchange shop.

"Yes, he is unconscious. But he should be fine." Jack said. [I couldn't say I had found him a few hours ago, right?] "Just take some rest!" Jack said again.

Jerry was directly asleep. He was very tired.

"..." Jack said nothing.

The night was gone and the morning came.

"Hey! How long do you want to keep pretending!" Master Rabbink woke Trevon.

"GWAHHHHH!!!" Trevon screamed. He had tried to sleep the entire time, yet this Rabbink couldn't stop talking. It talked about a rabbink family in a different universe. It talked from the first rabbink until the 30th generation. Master rabbink even told the daily actions of each rabbink in each generation.

"What happened, Young Master?" Jack quickly entered the room.

"Nothing..." Trevon answered. He wanted to complain that a Rabbink was talking to him the entire night. [Wait! Even people wouldn't accept that a rabbink could talk.] There were demons from other demon beasts, but there had never been a rabbink demon. Only a demon could physically talk. Jack then returned to his guarding position outside the room. Jerry was still sleeping.

"Why couldn't those people see, hear, or even smell you?" Trevon asked to Master Rabbink. He really didn't treat this annoying Rabbink as some elder.

"Why should I allow them to see me? I am too handsome for them. My voice is too heavenly for them. Why do you ask about the smell? Do you mean this Master Rabbink stinky?" It didn't like the last question. [This kid was too impolite.] A hand materialized and smashed Trevon. It destroyed his jade bed.

"What is that?" Jack once again entered the room. Jerry even woke up from the noise. They were surprised to find their young master laid inside the broken bed.

"Are you fine, Young Master? What happened to this jade bed?" Jerry asked. [Don't tell me it couldn't hold young master's weight!]

"No comment. I want to take a bath." Trevon was frustrated. [I couldn't say I was smashed by a rabbink right? I still have some prestige to hold.]

Trevon took his bathing supplies and went to the bathroom.

"What? You even want to join me in taking bath?" Trevon didn't want to take a bath with this Rabbink, it seemed it was a male Rabbink.

"Who wants to take a bath with you?! I will take a bath now. You have to wait for me!" Master Rabbink materialized a huge hand and pushed Trevon out from the bathroom. It materialized 2 other hands to close the bathroom door.

Trevon waited 30 minutes before he got the chance to take a bath.

1 hour later, Jack and Jerry accompanied their young master to the dining hall.

"Why did our young master take longer time for bathing?" Jerry asked by whispering.

"There is something wrong, but our young master hides it. We should report this to Elder Charles." Jack answered.

While they were wondering, Trevon's mental strength was tested. Everybody would find it was strange if he talked alone, so he didn't respond to any Master Rabbink's words. Yet the annoying Rabbink kept talking with him.

"Listen to this! This is a story that came from the universe far far far away from your universe. There was a small family of three. They..." This was the third family that Master Rabbink talked about. There was nothing interesting inside the story. They were just a non-cultivator family, who finally died of old age.

The McArthur dining hall was a tall and large room with huge numbers of tall windows. It was decorated with brown color curtains and furniture. A contrasting image was painted on the ceiling. It was the picture of a red dragon with numerous birds around it. Some huge brown carpets decorated its spiritual marble floor.

There were over 100 tables with brown tablecloths. Each table had different numbers of chairs, while the foods were served in a buffet style. People could take whatever they wanted, as much as one could. The foods were all high-quality foods cooked by top chefs in Redwood.

Of course, there were special tables for elders and their families. There were even special menus for elders and cultivators. They could pick from a buffet with Spirit Beast Meats. This was important for a cultivator as these meats helped to restore spiritual energy in the body.

Trevon could smell the delicious foods on the buffet tables. The hall was warm with multiple maids and attendants brought numerous trays contained fresh foods from the kitchen. Sometimes some chefs would appear and checked their foods. The place was one of the busiest locations in the pavilion.

"Wohooo Food!!!" Master Rabbink was flying around the dining hall. It took some foods here, there, and from other people's plates. It even grabbed from the buffet directly.

"Where is my meat?"

"Who took my carrot?'

"Hey! My egg is disappeared."

The situation was chaotic. Later on, Trevon heard the family called a shaman to clear the area from ghosts. Some unlucky ghosts were told to go to other houses. The ghosts even had their foods taken by Master Rabbink.

"Let's eat outside!" Trevon asked Jack and Jerry to accompany him.

"I am sorry, Young Master. Elder Charles told us to let you rest in the pavilion for a few days." Jack and Jerry told him.

"Do you want to eat here?" Trevon pointed to the messy dining hall. Master Rabbink kept flying around and took more foods. The chefs found it was strange. They even tried to cook the exact 10 steaks and 3 of them disappeared in front of their eyes. It was a robbery in the middle of the day. Some Rank 2 warriors even tried to use their spiritual sense, but nothing was found. Not even a trace of spiritual energy was found.

"How about young master rest in your room for now? We will buy breakfast for you. After talking with Elder Charles, we will go out." Jerry tried to persuade Trevon.

"Fine." Trevon knew he was in trouble with Master Rabbink around. "I will just wait in the dining hall then. Buy me something for breakfast!" He told Jerry.

"Hey! You haven't used your skill. Try to use it here! Nom... Nom... Nom..." Master Rabbink was eating while talking.

[There is nothing wrong with that.] Trevon tried the [Scout] skill.

[Potential: 0/1] [He is one of our common guards.]

[Potential: 2/14] [He is one of our cultivator guards. 14, that must be Middle Rank 1.]

[Potential: 0/1] [Another common guard.]

[Potential: 1/36] [He is the kid of one of the elder. He would reach Middle Rank 2. Not bad.] Trevon judged those people.

[What is my potential?] Trevon wondered, he had never used the skill on himself.

He tried to lock into himself, but it failed. He then looked into a mirror.

[Potential: ???/???] [I can't read my own potential?] He remembered that Rabbink talking about 73 something, yet he couldn't see it.

"Yes. Your potential had become a heaven's secret. Only other Gods can see that number. You have your limiter removed from being an apprentice God." Master Rabbink answered. "I like you more. You have good food here. I really hoped you could live a bit longer."

It then moved its fluffy body and slept on top one of the plates in front of Trevon. The chaos finally stopped.

"Here are you!" Suddenly a soft voice was heard. Raina wearing a green robe with trees pattern came to the Dining Hall.

Trevon used his skill on her on reflex.

[Potential: 17/71] [71? She really deserved to be called one of our family chosen.]

[Lv 0 Job Mission: Find a person with talents at least 61.]

[Job Mission completed.]

[User got 100 very low chances to increase your job level.]

[Current Job: Recruiter Lv 2 – Scout.]

[I don't get anything new?]

"Of course! Do you think skills are easy to make?" Master Rabbink talked while asleep. There was another bonus to job level, but Master Rabbink didn't feel it was the time to tell him.

[This rabbink.] Trevon complained. He really acted like a rabbink, eat and sleep.

"Hey! What are you doing? Do you have a trauma?" Raina was concerned about Trevon. He didn't answer her or tried to run away from her.

"Sorry, Sis! I was thinking about something." Trevon said.

"What are you thinking about? It must be a girl. Tell me! Who is the girl you are thinking about?" Raina turned her gossip mode.

"What are you talking about Elder Sister Raina? I am thinking about you."

"Now, you are returned! So, let me help you! Who do you like?" Raina asked.

"Whoa! Do not create a gossip, Sis. I am thinking about cultivation." Trevon changed the direction.

"You? Talking about cultivation? It seems the sun is really coming from the west today. Hehehe." Raina laughed.

"No. I want to ask you, Sis. What will happen if someone tells you that you would only reach Peak Rank 3 at most?" Trevon asked. He didn't know whether his ability is good or bad.

"Hm... I will be disappointed." Raina pondered before he continued to talk. "I will be the first person in our family to Reach Rank 4! Hehehe. Why do you ask this sudden question?"

"No. No. I am just asking." Trevon said. [So, people will be disappointed if I told something below their dream.]

"You are so strange today." Raina commented. "I am going to take my plate first." She left the table and went to the buffet.

Jack used the [Scout] skill on Jack.

[Potential: 23/31] [He is not that bad for a bodyguard.]

"Jack! What do you feel if I tell you, that you would reach Beginner Rank 2 at most?" Trevon asked.

[What's wrong with the young master today? There must be something happened yesterday. How should I answer this? Did someone tell that young master will never reach Rank 2?] Jack pondered. "I would be happy. I walked this path of cultivation. No matter what I become, at least I have tried and I will do my best. I won't care about what people talked about my cultivation." [Do this will make young master felt better? Don't give up young master!] This was one of the longest sentences Jack ever said in his life.

Luckily Trevon didn't hear the misconception. [Tried the best huh?]

"Hm..." Trevon thought things deeply. This was a rarity for Trevon.

[There is definitely something wrong. Perhaps some people talked about his potential that he couldn't reach a high Rank. This would be a huge blow to young master.] Jack thought.

Raina was returned with her breakfast.

"Hey! Why are you with that serious face? Do you want to be the cool boy?" Raina asked.

"I am just thinking Sis! I am also normally a cool man." Trevon took his fan and acted his usual way.

"Tell me what happened yesterday! Do you use treasures to run away? Or somebody saves you?"

"I don't remember anything, Sis." Trevon was nervously answered. He hadn't prepared the answer to this question.

"You are trying to lie to your elder sister?" Raina punched the table. Everybody looked in their direction.

"Stop! Stop! I will tell." This was Trevon's reflex.

"Hey! Be careful! Do not spread your secret, Boy!" Master Rabbink woke up. This was an important answer.

"I met a hamster yesterday." Trevon answered. [This Rabbink looked like a fat hamster, right?]

"Hey! I am the most handsome and athletic Rabbink in the entire universe."

"You mean a master? A master saving you?" Raina asked.

[I can't say about the ring, right?] Trevon thought. "Yes, I met a master yesterday. He saved me.

"What kind of person that master is?" Raina asked. "Is he handsome? Is he young? Is he cool?"

"Well..." Trevon thought he saw to the Master Rabbink.

"Careful! You are making lies. You will need to make a clean lie."

[Then I will just describe you!] Trevon thought. "He is a small but fat elder. He is very very old. I believe even Grandpa is younger than him. He is also very noisy. He talks non-stop."

"Hey? Are you talking about this Master Rabbink? That was totally not true."

"Is he powerful?" Raina's eyes blinked multiple times. In this era, power was the most interesting trait of a man.

"Very! Very Powerful!"

"Even stronger than grandpa?"

"Far! Far Stronger!" Trevon had to agree. This annoying Rabbink was very strong. He had obtained multiple strange abilities. [It even claimed to be a Creator].

"I am not claiming! I am a Creator, the only one at that. The Light was too lazy to create another creator. I really really really asked The Light to make a female God Rabbink, but my proposal hadn't been read." Master Rabbink complained. He materialized some documents. "If you could find a female God Rabbink, you must tell me. I will give you lots of rewards!" It showed a lonely look. It even played a sad, romantic song in the background.

"..."

"I really wished to meet him. Would he take me as his student?" Raina imagined the powerful master. A person who was stronger than her grandfather was worth to become her master.

"Only if kowtow to him." Trevon said.

"Yes, I just remember you haven't paid your kowtow to me! Aren't you satisfied with the service from Master Rabbink?" The Rabbink acted dignified.

"Of course, I would. Where I could find him?" Raina felt it was normal to kowtow to one's master.

"I don't know. Perhaps if he wants to appear in front of you." [Master Rabbink was a male, Right?]

"Of course, I am a male, you free user! Which parts of me looked like a female?"

"Sigh..." Trevon was frustrated. All rabbinks looked the same from outside. They were just fluffy balls.

"Sigh..." The same was with Raina. "Why did you follow my sighing? Did you just insult your elder sister?" Raina landed punches to Trevon from across the table.

"I am sorry. I am sorry."

Jerry then came with the breakfast. "Where is our young master?"

"..." Jack pointed to another area. Trevon was pummeled by Raina. "There is some information about what happened yesterday." Jack then told Jerry what he heard from the conversation between Raina and Trevon.

"We should tell this to elder Charles." Jerry thought. "Here is young master breakfast. I will report this soon to elder Charles, perhaps there is something important here."

"Ok." Jack answered.

Trevon was eating his breakfast after being pummeled by Raina. Raina was giving an angry look, while she ate her own breakfast. While at the same time, there was another emergency meeting in the elder assembly. Jerry had returned and together with Jack, they ate their own breakfast in a table not far from Trevon.

"You have heard what Jerry said. He is one of Trevon bodyguards." Charles said.

"I suggest we should call Jack for more detailed information." One of the elders said.

"No. We also need to ask Raina about what Trevon's said." Another elder said.

"I agree this might be a real opportunity for our family compared to that mutated beast." A female elder said.

"We must ensure this first. Let's call jack first!" The first elder said.

"Fine, I will send someone to call Jack." Charles said.

A minute later in the dining hall.

"Jack, the elders were calling you. You should go to the meeting room." A staff called Jack.

"Perhaps, it is about yesterday event." Jerry said. "Just go! I will protect the young master."

"Ok."

A minute later in the command room.

"Are you Jack? You are one of Trevon's bodyguards?" An elder started his question.

"Yes, I am Jack, a private squad of Elder Alvaro McArthur. I was assigned as young master Trevon's bodyguard."

"What happened yesterday?" The same elder asked.

"I was waiting outside with Jerry because young master wanted to exchange some coin for..." Jack retold what happened.

"So, you were locking into Trevon's aura using your spiritual sense when suddenly he disappeared. Is that correct?"

"Yes, elder."

"How fast before he disappeared?" Another elder asked.

"Just 1 second."

"What did you after that?"

"I quickly entered the room."

"And what happened?"

"He had disappeared. The attacker hadn't activated anything on the site."

"Are you sure of that? What trace did you find?"

"I am sure that he had disappeared. I asked the hostages nearby and they said that Trevon disappeared." Jack answered.

"What he said is the same with the information from Grand Elder Kleigh." One of the elders said.

"We also have some information from the hostages who were saved by Grand Elder Kleigh. I will call them." Another elder opted.

"We don't need that, I believe Grand Elder Kleigh's testimony would be enough."

"Do you get information from Alvaro, whether he had given some treasures to Trevon?" Another elder asked.

"He didn't give him any treasures for lifesaving." Charles said.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, Alvaro even requested to be replaced on the mission." Charles said.

"About another thing, there is news that Trevon lost all his belongings, including any treasure from his storage ring. Do you know that Jack?" One of the elders asked Jack.

"I know that. He found the loss in front of me and Jerry. All his spirit stones, golds, silvers, and even coppers in his storage rings disappeared. Almost all his treasures turned into dust in front of us."

"Almost?"

"Yes, almost. There was no problem with his Qin, his Pipa, some girl images, and his fan collections."

"Do you think he had some treasures outside the storage ring? This storage ring alone had been already a big mystery." One of the elders commented.

"No, if Young Master Trevon had something, he would show it to the girls at Eternal Night. As far as I know as his bodyguard, he hadn't shown any treasures that he wore."

"I think that is enough." The elder said.

"Are there any elders who want to ask more?" Charles asked. He was the leader of the meeting.

"No." All the elders answered.

"Jack, consider this meeting a Rank S secret! Never tell this to any person." Charles ordered.

"Yes, Elder." Jack went outside the room.

"I will call Raina." Charles said.

A few minutes later, Raina came.

"How are you, beautiful niece?" One of the elders asked.

"I am fine, Uncle Lorry." Raina answered.

"Did you just ask Trevon what happened yesterday? We are concerned about him. Tell us what he told you!" The elder named Lorry asked Raina.

"This is what happened..." Raina said. "That stinky playboy really lucky to meet such powerful master."

"Are you sure he didn't lie to you?" Lorry asked again.

"No way! I know him very well. When Trevon lies, he will move his eye, left-right-left-right. If he answers truthfully, he would just answer without changing his eye. This is his habit since he was little. I won't hit him without reason. He didn't change his eye during our talk."

"Hahaha. As long as he is fine, that is fine, dear Raina." Lorry said.

"Raina, what we talked here, you should keep it a secret from Trevon. Also, whatever Trevon said, don't tell it to other people! That master might be someone we can't afford to gossip. Can you promise that to father?" Charles asked.

"Of course, Father. Raina promises this would be a secret."

"Good. I will talk to Trevon later on." Charles said.

Raina then walked out of the room.

"Then we can only ask Trevon directly. We should check whether his lying habit is like what Raina said. Can you do that, Elder Charles?" Lorry asked.

"I need to plan the questions, what do you think that we could ask him that he would answer with a lie." Charles asked.

"I heard this information about his action in Bluestar..."

At the same time in Trevon room. Trevon wanted to take a short nap after eating breakfast because that noisy Rabbink didn't allow him a little sleep last night. He had taken some foods from the hall for the little rabbink in his universe. They could eat anything as they were rabbinks. It was easy for him to go back to the universe by using Core Management skill.

"TUIT... TUIT... TUIT..."

[What is this?] Trevon heard a voice from his storage rings.

"That is Troublemeter. You will get your first problem soon." Master Rabbink was in the room.

Trevon took the troublemeter, it was full red and shining brightly. "Sh*t!"
