113 The Donna

Trevon couldn't wait for Nana to return. He ran toward the passage. [What if she was in danger? She is still a young mouse.]

"Squeak! Squeak!"

The more he ran, the louder Trevon could hear the squeaks.

[Stay safe, Nana!] He increased his speed. The young master even skipped some torches and ran in darkness.

Trevon's spiritual sense found the end of a passage. He activated a blazing talisman on his left hand. While using his right hand, he moved the fire elements to light the torches at the end of the passage.

The lighted torches allowed Trevon to tear the dark curtain. He saw around forty small dark mice surrounded a big white blueish mouse. All lowered their heads before Nana. She was stood in a large platform. Two small dark mice were giving massage to Nana.

Trevon could see some of those mice experienced battle injuries. That was the price to go against the Donna. [Gulp!] Trevon believe the squeaking he heard was from those unfortunate mice. Nana was too powerful compared to those weak mice.

"Squaeak..." Nana enjoyed the mice's tributes to her.

[What is this?] Trevon used his scout to one of those mice.

[Age: 62 Years]

[Sex: Male]

[Species: Dark Sewer Mouse]

[Potential: 3/5]

[Ability: Bite]

[Affiliation: Eberk Rockminer Inheritance Dungeon, Nana Mouse Gang]

"Gwahahaha. Like the master like the beast. She followed your example and become the boss."

"..." Trevon felt speechless.

"Squeak..." Nana ran toward Trevon. She jumped on Trevon's right foot before climbing into her favorite's shoulder position. "Squeak... Squeak..."

"You want to bring them to my secret place?" Trevon felt the meaning of Nana from their contract.

Trevon looked at the forty mice. [Could I take them out of this dungeon?]

"Yes, you can capture or tame them. The demon beasts weren't a property of a dungeon master. They belong to this universe. However, once they left the dungeon they couldn't return here. A wild demon beast may pledge their allegiance to a dungeon. But a demon beast who had left the dungeon would be forever banned from pledging to the same dungeon again. Remember! Living in a dungeon allowed them to get faster spiritual energy for their core than outside."

Trevon told what Master Rabbink said to Nana.

"Squeak..." Nana said that they were loyal followers of her from now.

"Fine." Trevon used his Core Management skill and brought those mice to his universe. He continued to follow Nana and her mouse gang.

His universe had changed. It was no longer two big balls. He had made a flat area connecting the two balls. However, he made a long river surrounding the rabbinks to prevent the rabbinks from eating everything outside. The rabbinks lived in a large barren island in his first ball. Trevon had to summon some plants on the rabbinks' place once a while to feed them.

Between the two balls was a wide field filled with common grass. His planet was filled with common plants. Most were the species from Redwood forest.

Trevon made two red forests in both balls. Both were red and similar to Redwood Forest. Actually, the treasure snatcher Trevon went the easy way. Rather than summoning a forest, he snatched a large area from the real forest.

Trevon arrived in the flat area between the former balls. His Transfer Demon Beast panel allowed him to bring willing demon beast in and out without having to touch them one by one.

"Crip… Crip… Crip…" Trevon heard some birds singing for him. Other than the forest, Trevon also obtained some normal animals when he took the Wailing Tree.

The young master had asked Nana to hunt dangerous animals like poisonous snakes. He didn't want to face surprise in his universe. Trevon found this the hard way.

Once he came to his universes when a snake attacked him. He tried to use his dash, but he found that he couldn't use his martial arts in his universes. The young master could sense the spiritual energy in his own universes, but couldn't control them. Only Scout and Weakness Scan could be used. Even the cultivation technique couldn't be used to gather spiritual energy. Meanwhile, Nana and the demon beasts could use their ability.

Master Rabbink explained that happened because he hadn't put any cultivation path in his universe. So other than a demon beast, everyone couldn't cultivate or control the spiritual energy. Trevon had to reach the immortal realm before he could make a cultivation rule for mortal cultivators.

The snake turned into shock as it bit Trevon. He still remembered he had to use sword movement to fight against the snake. His speed and power from tempering were there, but he was only a powerful human without using spiritual energy.

Master Rabbink told Trevon afterward he could use Planet Making to fight. However, he was too lazy to hunt the aggressive animal one by one. Therefore, he asked Nana to hunt carnivorous animals in his universe. The mouse easily fulfilled the request.

Other than the common animal from the Wailing Tree, Trevon also purchased some common animals from the city. He put some cows, chicken, lamb, pigs, and many more inside his universe for emergency foods.

For their foods, the young master summoned many common plants in his universe once a while. All his planets were covered with green pastures.

A red horse-type demon beast was enjoying the open grass with a group of red horse-type demon beast. He was the second contracted beast of Trevon.

"Neighhh..." He greeted Trevon.

"Good Day, Ajax!" Trevon waved back to his tamed Fire Alogo. They had a good relationship except when Trevon wanted to borrow some tail hairs from the Alogo.

Since McArthur family controlled the Fire Alogo. The family had never sold a female Alogo. Even Trevon couldn't get the female one from the family. Therefore, he used his Summon Demon Beast to summon more Fire Alogos to accompany his contracted Fire Alogo.

While he still couldn't understand a demon beast contract, this Alogo was obtained from his family. He also made a trade with Master Rabbink. He helped Master Rabbink to purchase some lands after Redwood disaster. In return, the Rabbink ensured that there was no problem with the contract.

[Name: Ajax]

[Age: 2 Years]

[Sex: Male]

[Species: Fire Alogo]

[Potential: 3/35]

[Determination: 71]

[Cultivation Speed: 76]

[Loyalty: 32]

[Decision Making: 15]

[Talent: Running Away]

[Affiliation: Trevon McArthur, McArthur Family]

Ajax was formerly used as a common wagon puller when Trevon found him. His name was given by a family breeder.

It was hard for Trevon to get a demon beast with above Rank 2 potential after the demon beast waves. Especially after the human loss during the beast waves. Even Redwood Demon Beast market was closed for some time since the demon beasts requested humans to free demon beasts from the market.

Compared to other Alogos, Ajax was special. Other Fire Alogo could only reach around Lv 5 or a Primary Rank 1 Demon Beast.

Later Trevon knew from the conversation with Ajax that the horse had experienced a danger during his life as a wagon puller. After Ajax was taken to Trevon's universe, the male Alogo enjoyed his life as the pack leader.

Trevon sold the male summoned Fire Alogo to the market while giving all summoned females to Ajax. This made the horse thought Trevon as a good boss. The other Fire Alogos in Trevon's universe were all female Alogos.

"Where do you want to stay?" He asked Nana.

"Squeak..." Nana pointed to the highest tree in Trevon's planets.

"Fine... That tree is yours!" Trevon rarely rejected Nana. The mouse was his most powerful follower. She would be a demon in the future.

"Squeak..." Nana ran with her subordinates toward the tree.

Trevon went to inspect the dead mole bodies. He also had some bat's bodies. [Should I try the Fallen Dead Potion?]

"You need to learn the controlling martial arts for the potion to be useful." Master Rabbink said.

"Is that hard?" Trevon wondered.

"Hm… You will need some time. Also, you will need to maintain the fallen bodies. While it doesn't need more potion, you have to inject a bit of spiritual energy every month. Else they would stop working. This Rabbink suggests you make the fallen bodies later."

"You are right." Trevon didn't want to maintain the fallen bodies. He was a young master and not a caretaker. The young master had dreamed the day he would be free from babysitting the demon beasts in his universe. Making the fallen bodies would make him babysitting those monsters without getting anything in return.

Trevon decided to return to the maze. [Without Nana, I have to be more careful.] He took his sword and talismans again.

He still moved carefully and lighted the torches as he found them.

"Hey! There won't be a goblin or other intelligent species, right?" Trevon had read some dungeon novels.

"They can. However, most dungeons are too young from being able to summon an intelligent creature." Master Rabbink read a thick manual. "Yes. It required a high-level dungeon to do that."

Trevon looked at the cover. [Complete Idiot's Guide to Inheritance Dungeon for Dummies.]

"Hey! Can I borrow that?" Trevon wanted to learn more about the dungeon.

"Nope. This is the edition for a Creator. If you became a dungeon master, you can read this." Master Rabbink smiled evilly.

"Hahaha." Trevon felt cold sweats on his back. [I still want to live.]

He quickly changed the topic. "Is there a way for a dungeon to summon a Golden Elf? They can also summon a Crystal Fox, right?" Trevon asked the most important question. "

"Erm… You want to ask a dungeon master to summon them?" Master Rabbink read the guide again.

"Hwehwehwe. You know me the best, Rabbink."

"Most crystal fox is an immortal beast. The chance to summon one in the mortal realm is hard. Most wouldn't become a demon ever." Master Rabbink told Trevon.

"Then it is possible for Golden Elf. Hwehwehwe." Trevon could see the chance in the Rabbink's word.

"Sigh… Your dream is impossible." Master Rabbink destroyed Trevon's dream. "As you know most dungeon masters were not socializing creatures. Besides, it is very expensive to make a portal for an intelligent creature. Intelligent creatures often would try to run from a dungeon. So, it is unpopular for a dungeon master to summon them."

"No. I won't lose hope." Trevon found a way toward his harem dream closer.

[I have to find a way to negotiate with the dungeon master.] He thought.

"Hey! Dungeon Master! I want to make a deal. Summon a Golden Elf for me and I will pay you. Lots lots lots of money!"

"…"

"You don't want money? I can give you treasures."

"…"

"Don't want treasures? Delicious food. You haven't tried the famous rendang, right?"

"…" The dungeon master still didn't respond to Trevon's offer.

[Sigh… Foods don't work?] Trevon thought. He continued to search for an exit while thinking what he should do.

"Of course! Do you think a dungeon master is a rabbink?" Master Rabbink commented.

"Wait! Don't you say you could summon a golden elf?" Trevon looked to the floating Rabbink.

"This Rabbink could."

"I will purchase extra food if you summon a golden elf. No… All foods in the city." Trevon talked while moving forward.

"That is not enticing this Rabbink. At worst, this Rabbink could control some random passersby to buy some foods for me. Gwahahaha."

"Let's make another deal again!"

"Nope. Focus on the road! There might be a trap inside."

"Trap?"

"Yep…" The Rabbink nodded.

"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHhhhhhhhhh!!!"

"See? A trap. You should be fully focused during a dungeon adventure." Master Rabbink followed Trevon who fell into a simple trap hole.

"AW! Where is it?" Trevon felt his buttock painful. Everything was dark around him. Luckily, Trevon knew it was an empty place since he didn't hear any noise.

"Still inside the dungeon maze." Master Rabbink answered.

Trevon took a shining pearl and tried to find a torch, but he failed. His eyes didn't find a torch around him. The young master found himself inside a large hall without any torch on the side. He saw the only door and went toward that.

He walked until he heard a strange voice again. This time another bat colony. Trevon threw many blazing talismans and ran away. It was easy.

He walked a bit and heard a mouse noise. Trevon went to call Nana. The mouse took her follower to subdue another mouse's colony. Master Rabbink said that it would fast before a bat or mouse would be summoned again.

Trevon fought against several more mice. He lost in the dark passages. Sometimes he called Nana from his universe. The mouse and her followers had become bigger and bigger. She had almost two hundred mice under her.

Trevon found he spent some energy when he transferred many demon beasts at the same time.

[I lost ten percent?] He couldn't believe it.

"Yes. You can swarm your enemy with many demon beasts, but you have to be able to make a portal for them. A powerful demon beast also would cost you more spiritual energy. For example, if you make a Rank 3 fallen body, your spiritual energy may not be enough to transfer it yet."

"This is useless then."

"No. You can make a portal instead." Master Rabbink told Trevon. "You can pay the cost using spirit stones. However, the cost to move stronger creatures was expensive while it is free for weak creatures. You will learn this later when you have a Rank 2 non-contracted follower."

Trevon walked toward another passage. He was really lost inside the dungeon. However, the young master managed to find some simple treasures during his adventure.

[Another potion. They are cheaper than my ticket cost.] Trevon found the dungeon was tricking cultivators to spend money.

"Yes. However, you get to experience an adventure and real battles. A dungeon master needed resources to operate this small world. You even had killed several colonies of the bat and took many mice. While it could regenerate, the dungeon might need a week to get the number back."

"This is not that expensive when Trevon thought about his looting. The carcass of bats and mice might not worth much, but for a rogue warrior, they could sell it to a demon beast market and obtained profit.

He went towards another mouse colony. Nana took care of it. However, she became busy with organizing her big mouse gang. She had 231 mice followers.

"Squeak…"

"What? You need time to organize your followers?" Trevon didn't know where the mouse learned about that.

"Squeak… Squeak…"

"Fine. I will call you if I met something dangerous." Trevon also started to feel confident. While he lost inside, the opponent was only weak demon beasts. He was more than enough to defeat them alone.

He transferred Nana and her followers back to his universe. Trevon took some pills to recover his spiritual energy which was consumed for summoning Nana and her followers.

Trevon continued to face several more bats and mouse colonies. Since Nana had too large followers, he didn't ask for the mouse's help. He used his martial arts to clear the dungeon rooms one by one.

"Where is the exit?" Trevon felt frustrated with another dead end.

"You have to find it yourself."

[Hm…] Trevon thought of something.

"HEY!!! DUNGEON MASTER!!! WHERE IS THE EXIT?!!!" He shouted.

"…"

"HEY! WHERE IS THE EXIT?!!!" Trevon walked while shouting.

This happened for around thirty minutes.

"HEY! WHERE IS THE EXIT?!!!" Trevon walked while shouting.

"Boom!"

"Eh? Something appeared." Trevon heard something in front of him. He found a monolith.

[This is the same monolith with the first one.] Trevon thought. He read the monolith again.

[Eberk Rockminer Inheritance Dungeon.]

Trevon read the rules. It was the same, but he found a new one.

[11. No shouting in the maze area! Demon Beasts need to sleep.]

[What? A response at least. Hehehe.] Trevon felt this was a chance to him. [Wait! This is not over, Dungeon Master!] He rubbed his palm.
