75 Last Preparation – Young Master Aura

Trevon woke at 08:00. He felt a bit sleepy because of his practice. The sleepy young master decided to skip practicing '1.000 Holy Flashes' and decided to press the troublemeter.

Trevon didn't forget to take a bath to refresh himself before he went outside to the courtyard. He took the stick from his storage ring. The troublemeter was around sixty percent brightness.

He pressed the troublemeter button and started to jump to evade something fall on his head.

[Eh?] Trevon felt strange. He looked around. The young master didn't get any trouble. Even the troublemeter's brightness was still the same. [Lucky?]

[I will try again.] He tried to press the button again and again. [What's wrong?]

Trevon felt happy. [Hahahaha. Finally, this cheap product gets broken.] A huge smile appeared on his face.

"You should prepare." Master Rabbink solemnly speak.

"What?!"

"It is the sign of unavoidable trouble." Master Rabbink solemnly said. It materialized a big human hand. The fingers on the hand were counting something.

"Demon... Beast... Wave...?" Trevon stammered.

Master Rabbink looked into outside the house. Redwood City was covered by Redwood Forest. "They have started to gather."

"How long?" Trevon lost his fun bearing. He changed into a scary cat expression. The young master finally loved having the troublemeter. At least it allowed him some time to prepare.

"Thirty hours." Master Rabbink had completed its calculation.

"I will hide in my universe." Trevon made the decision. He didn't care about the blacklist. The spoiled young master would prefer to be evicted from the city. [This boring city doesn't have a pleasure house.]

"You can run away, but future trouble would be harsher." Master Rabbink said. "Similar to the previous owner. He ran from mutated demon beasts, but fall into bandits' hand. Demon beasts are kinder than bandits."

Trevon quickly removed the plan to hide. He was also afraid of having worse trouble. "What should I do?" The young master started to walk in a circle.

"Kreet..." He heard a door opened.

It was his grandmother Issabella. She slept in Trevon's house while she worked in the pavilion. Her duty was mainly as a distraction of Redwood family from the real mission in the forest.

"What's wrong? Why are you trying to hide in the morning?" Issabella heard Trevon's conversation. She didn't see anyone. [Perhaps he was talking with Master Creator.] She thought.

"Grandma!!!" Trevon forgot to use Elder Sister. "Help me!"

Issabella wanted to laugh, her grandson was still a little kid.

"What's the problem?" She smiled.

"Big Problems! Demon Beasts! We have to run!" Trevon was already nervous since he heard it the first time from Master Rabbink.

"Calm down my handsome grandson!" Issabella rubbed Trevon's hair. At this time, Trevon didn't look like the cool young master that he tried to show the world. He was only an afraid fifteen-year-old kid before his grandmother.

"Tell me the problem! I will help you."

"It's the demon beast wave. They will come in thirty hours."

"Is that from Master Creator?" Issabella asked. She didn't smile anymore.

"Yes."

"Would he help you?" Issabella asked with her melodious voice. However, a tinge of seriousness could be heard.

"Nope. He would only watch." Trevon couldn't hope for the Rabbink's help.

Master Rabbink nodded with Trevon's realization. It could help, but the destiny would give Trevon even more problems. Destiny Path was a test. Only after passing the difficult test, one could change his destiny and ruled others. His life was a life full of troubles.

"Sigh..." Issabella looked at Trevon. "I will try to assign some guards to protect you. You should try to show some fights before retreating to the city." Issabella said. As a young member of the cultivation family, it was their responsibility to join the defense team.

This was the trade. Cultivators gave common people the feeling of safety. On the other side, common people gave cultivators the right to lord over them. Even the rich merchant couldn't treat a rogue cultivator badly. Their cultivator backer wouldn't support them if they made trouble with a weak Primary Rank 1 cultivator.

This was the world of cultivators.

"Do not worry more than you do! Our family had prepared the countermeasures for the demon beast king. Trust me!" She hugged Trevon while caressed her young grandson. "I will tell you this to you. Our family protecting artifact was in this city. Do not tell anyone else about this!"

Trevon nodded. The secret made him relieved.

"Just show some good fights in front of other families! You are my grandson, being afraid is fine. Being a coward is not." She massaged Trevon shoulders before slapped him in the back.

"Yes, I will." Trevon felt reassured. The family protecting artifact meant the family leader was in the city. His family leader and the artifact could defeat a Rank 4 warrior. That was the power of the supreme treasure.

"Well, you might need this. Use this to prepare yourself!" Issabella gave Trevon her storage ring. "Pick as much as you need!"

Trevon took some spirit stones. He would need to buy some treasure to protect himself. While he still had around five hundred spirit stones, having some extra would be better.

"Thank you, Grandma." Trevon took five hundred thousand spirit stones. It would be enough to buy some consumable treasures. While he could take more, Trevon knew it was useless to purchase anything too expensive. People wouldn't easily sell the strong artifacts without some negotiations.

"Ah! Master Creator had given your swords to me." Trevon took one hundred Dark Demon Slayer swords from his storage ring. He believed his grandmother could use those during the fight.

"Finished already?" Issabella felt a bit surprised. "This is good. Our family preparation is better."

"Could I borrow six of them?"

"Of course, my Trevon."

Trevon took six swords to his storage rings. One for himself and the other five for his bodyguards.

"Thank you, Grandma. I will buy some talisman in the market." Trevon knew he had to be fast. He thought he still got time to prepare from the demon beast wave, but the reality came faster. He went to his room to feed the rabbinks and took Nana.

While Trevon went from the house with Aya, Berger, and his bodyguards. Issabella looked to his back and to the pile of swords. She took one and checked it.

[This is really a Star level artifact?] Issabella didn't believe she could get this many Star level artifacts with only twelve and a half million spirit stones. [I need to go to the pavilion to discuss this beast wave. Where are you brother?] She looked to the north, the core of Redwood Forest.

Outside the house, Trevon went to his family pavilion. He asked for the data about his private squads. After that, he went to his room and called his followers.

"I will tell you some secret. You can't tell too many people about this. Most wouldn't believe it." Trevon activated the privacy formations in his room.

"Yes, Young Master." All said. They were all wondered about their young master. [This morning he looked very scared.]

"Thirty hours from now. Redwood City will face Demon Beast Waves."

"Yes, Young Master." They didn't look surprised. There might be a demon beast wave every day.

"This is far bigger than normal."

"What do you mean, Young Master?" Kevin felt a bit surprised.

"I will only tell you. You should move your family to a safer area. I think my house or the family pavilion would be fine. Berger, you can tell the kid about this. Just said you heard a rumor. It is up to them to believe or not." Trevon told Berger.

"Yes, Young Master. What about the daily activity?"

"The gallery will have a break for now." He threw six pouches filled with Gold Coin. Those contained six thousand gold coins.

Trevon continued his order. "Jonathan, Kevin, and Lance, you will need to find Marcus, Noah, Omar, Piero, and Qadr. Tell them about this! I will meet you again this evening at my house."

"Yes, Young Master." They felt a bit worried. Their young master had been very worried since this morning. It was unlike their young master. If a young master of a Great family felt worried, they as common cultivators should be even more worried.

"Jack, Jerry, follow me! We will purchase some treasures." He asked Jack and Jerry to accompany him.

"What about me, Young Master?" Aya asked.

Trevon fell silent for a moment. She didn't have any family in the city. "You can help me shop."

"Yes, Young Master."

Trevon went to the Central Marketway to do some shopping with Jack, Jerry, and Aya. While he could find other places with cheaper price, Central Marketway was the one-stop place to find everything in Redwood.

The best treasure to protect oneself was the artifact. A strong artifact could guarantee one safety. However, people would rarely sell their strong artifact. Even if Trevon managed to find a seller, he would need a long time to negotiate the deal. Time was a luxury that he didn't have this time.

Trevon went to the second best, talisman. Talisman's only weakness was its one-time usage. He decided to purchase many Blazing Talismans, Barrier Talisman, Paralyzing Talisman, Strength Increasing Talisman, Speed Increasing Talisman, and many more. For those talismans, he didn't care about the quality. As long as he didn't have that talisman, he would buy it.

After the talisman, the next best thing was medicine. Common medicine was useless for cultivator during a fight. Therefore, he purchased alchemist pills. Pills was a better medicine with faster effect than common medicines.

Most common medicines were only a mixture of useful medicinal ingredients. While pills required an alchemist to purify and mix the medicinal contents from those ingredients. From the alchemist concoction, the medicinal effect would be increased. This was especially the absorption speed.

Trevon purchased many important pills. Spiritual Energy Recovery Pills, Physical Recovery Pills, Internal Recovery Pills, various Antidotes Pills, and many more. He purchased them all.

"Are you sure with your purchase?" Master Rabbink asked.

Trevon only purchased one of each pill and talisman. He even purchased some talismans from unknown talisman makers as long as they were unique.

"Yes. I will make you improve it. Some strange one would be purchased from the store if I really need them." Trevon decided. He had an entire store following him around 24 hours. The young master could buy it when he needed it.

"You will not have access to the store if you have fainted." Master Rabbink reminded Trevon.

"Ok. I know." Trevon didn't need to be told about that. "I just want to ask. How many percents could you improve this talisman?" Trevon asked. He picked a blazing talisman.

"Improve? Of course, I will perfect it based on its category. This talisman is a Man level. It would still be a Man level, but the damage would increase by twenty percent. The area would increase by five percent. If you could give me a higher-level talisman as the base, I could make it even livelier." Master Rabbink proudly said. The best store in the entire universes would never sell worse products. It always sold the best of the best.

"This is enough." Trevon continued to purchase various types of pills and talismans and sold them to the Universe Store using Auto's help.

In the evening he returned to his house. All his followers were there with their families. Berger, Jonathan, Kevin, Lance, Marcus, Noah, Omar, Piero, and Qadr were waiting for him. Some even had returned today to get more family members from the village.

Trevon purchased various talismans and important pills for him and his followers. The young master also purchased an armor, a pant, two armguards, a pair of boots and gloves, and a helm from Universe Store for himself. They weren't all artifacts, but they provided the best defense based on Auto recommendation.

Trevon didn't forget to purchase some armors for his followers. This was especially for Jonathan, Jerry, Kevin, Lance, and Jack. Because they were his main combatants. He had decided to put Nana on his universe to protect him. Demon beast couldn't be used to fight during a beast wave. She might even be controlled by the Beast King.

These purchases left him with 151.943 spirit stones. Trevon traded one hundred thousand spirit stones into core energies for the emergency. He decided to save the rest of his spirit stones. Worst come worst, he would purchase some instant-learning martial arts if he needed them.

At the same time, Trevon left his house in the morning. The elders had received a message from Alvaro. This news and Master Creator made them make an emergency meeting.

"This is dangerous." Elder John said.

"This powerful Master Creator had given the exact hour. I believe that." Elder Josephine said. She had seen some power of Master Creator and believed in this super warrior.

"If he is that powerful, we should ask his help." Elder Lorry said.

"Such a warrior wouldn't care about us mortal." Grand Elder Issabella said. "The same we didn't care about small villages."

All elders turned silent. They knew some information, but they couldn't spread it. This would create panic, and the worst was the city filled with millions of villagers from nearby villages. Sometimes the worst thing during a beast wave was people inside. Some beast waves could last for one year. During those time, the city would not get additional foods. While reinforcement was blocked by those beasts.

"We have already told all our employees and allies. Those employees would tell their families and friends. This will be enough for our contribution. I have told our store to limit the sales of foods and usable treasure. While at the same time increase the sales of weapons." Elder Charles said.

"What about the Redwood family?"

"I have told some clues to them and other cultivation families. They were also preparing."

Those elders continued their discussion, some were sent to make some preparations. Their Grand Elder hadn't returned. It created some problems for their plans.

Another day passed. Trevon didn't even have any interest to sell Uncle's Bow boxes. He just waited in his room. The young master only looked at Margareth and Cecillia pictures to pass the time. This calmed him a bit until he fell asleep.

Trevon woke at 08:00 the next day since he could barely sleep. He had tried to press troublemeter numerous times, yet he didn't get any small troubles. The young master really missed those small troubles. [I want them. Please give me those small troubles! Please!]

However, he couldn't get those small troubles. Trevon looked at the Rabbink. It was still happily sleeping.

"Nyam... Nyam... Nyam..."

[Gr... He must be thinking about food.] Trevon decided to kick the fluffy ball.

"Hey!" Master Rabbink was fast. The Rabbink teleported and appeared a bit far from Trevon. It wasn't easy to hit him. "I was having a wonderful buffet dream!"

"I couldn't even sleep soundly last night." Trevon was angry seeing the relaxing attitude of the Rabbink. Today, he might have his first serious battle in the last five years.

Since Master Rabbink gave him thirty hours from yesterday. That battle might happen six hours from now.

"Do not worry! You should believe in your Young Master Destiny. Similar to children of God had Hero Aura, you also have Young Master Aura." Master Rabbink said.

"Young Master Aura?" Trevon heard this term the first time.

"Don't you feel those stupid young masters in the novel is hard to kill?" Master Rabbink asked.

"Yes." Trevon had read those young master was punched, kicked, or attacked by those heroes. Yet they would keep surviving each encounter.

They would turn even deranged or become more and more powerful after every accident. It wasn't rare for some arrogant young master to survive one hundred chapters and more. Those young master would keep pestering the main character with their unlimited family members. Some lucky one would become the final boss after selling their bodies or souls to the evil.

"As long as you could activate this aura, you will somehow increase your chance to survive the ordeal." Master Rabbink said. It intentionally didn't talk about the probability of selling one soul or body to the evil hand in the shadow.

"How do I activate it?" Trevon didn't feel he had those.

"First, you have to find a target child of God to pester." Master Rabbink said. "They are usually characterized by being hard to kill and somehow always get power, girls, and treasures."

"Erm..." Trevon didn't have anyone on his mind. "Kyle, I didn't even know his face." Trevon thought.

"Palacio. I become like a big bro to him. Is there any potential main character around me?" He tried to check using his novels knowledge. "I can't target my father."

[Sh*t! I should grab more girls or rare treasures in the city.] He regretted playing save in Redwood City. Usually, those heroes would appear when a young master grabbed a girl in the city or competing for a table in a restaurant. Trevon always ate in a VIP room to avoid those dangerous heroes while enjoyed some privacy.

"Try to look at older memories!" Master Rabbink encouraged Trevon.

Trevon started to reminisce his past. He had taken some girls to date, yet he couldn't imagine a competitor in the picture. [I am very handsome and rich. I also came from a great family. My father and grandfather were powerful people in Bluestar. Who could become my competitors? Hahaha.] He forgot his goal. The young master praised himself.

Master Rabbink slammed its head to Trevon.

"Auch... That's hurt."

"How about that branch family member?" The Rabbink was forced to make Trevon's remember.

"Who?" Most arrogant young master wouldn't remember those 'Chapter 1' weaklings.

"The one who dares to challenge you!"

"Don't tell me!" Trevon remembered someone. His name wasn't worth for Trevon to remember.

The first time he met him was when he was six years old. He went to a small village and found a beautiful kid. Trevon took the girl playing families all day. Yet he was attacked by an unknown boy at that time. Young Trevon was still a chosen at that time. It isn't hard for him to defeat the boy in a punch.

Trevon could still remember his flame punch hit that boy in front of the girl. He could remember the girl ran to the boy and cried. The young Trevon really didn't plan to make the girl cried. That boy made him lost his image in the eyes of the beautiful lady.

This didn't end at that. That boy was a member of a McArthur family's branch. While the girl was an orphan who was raised by the branch family. They meet again when Trevon was seven years old. It was a family tournament for young generations.

Trevon was still a chosen. It was a one-sided fight. He defeated the kid with another flame punch. At that tournament, Trevon ended as the third winner for bellow eight years old category.

Their next meeting was when Trevon twelve years old, five years later. This was the same family young generation tournament. Trevon was no longer a chosen and decided to live a happy life. He wanted to skip the tournament, but he was afraid of the punishment. The spoiled young master couldn't afford to have his allowance further reduced.

They fought again in a fight between kids under fifteen years old. Normally Trevon would prefer to be defeated, yet he couldn't lose to that boy. He preferred being defeated by a chosen.

Trevon kicked the kid's butt again. He showed the huge distance between martial arts taught to a direct descendant and in a branch. The trash of the main family defeated a branch family genius. Teenager Trevon enjoyed his victory. At that tournament, he managed to protect his allowance with three wins before he intentionally being defeated by a family chosen.

Trevon remembered the kid yet only the physical features.

"Now imagined if that kid got a grandpa!" Master Rabbink said. "He will grow in the strength. He will come again in another tournament. He would defeat you in front of Master Rabbink..."

"Hmm..." Trevon nodded. [Well, he has a cheat.]

"In front of your family."

Trevon nodded.

"In front of your brothers."

Trevon nodded.

"In front of Margareth and Cecillia. In front of those beautiful girls."

Trevon's fighting spirit was flashed when he heard Margareth and Cecillia.

Master Rabbink almost wanted to cough blood. It had tried to use its name, Trevon's family, friends, yet the girls were still the key to motivating Trevon.

"F*CK that kid! I will still beat him." A darkish aura appeared surrounding Trevon.

Nevertheless, only a frequent web novel reader could see it. This Young Master Aura was the counter of the Hero Aura. It was the undying and pestering aura of a young master. Master Rabbink didn't know whether Trevon would become a devil, a monster, or an insane person like how those young masters in the story ended. Yet, it believed this would increase Trevon's survival power for this test.

"Demon Beasts or Children of God! I am not afraid. HAHAHAHA." Trevon's spirit was ignited. He didn't forget to have his morning bath before fighting. The young master donned his armors.

Master Rabbink could see Trevon became a moving tank.

"DONG... DONG... DONG... DONG... DONG... DONG... DONG... DONG..." Trevon heard the gong noise from outside his house. He went outside to fight.

The city defense had to hit the emergency gong. It would mean that the city gates would be closed soon. This was a sign of an uncommon danger. Those city guards had their relay system to scout the danger. They were late compared to Master Rabbink, but it was enough to prepare their defense.

Some people were running from the forest. They were hunters who came from their hunt.

"Big Beast Waves!!! Big Beast Waves!!!" They screamed.

This created more chaos around the city gates. Numerous city guards quickly allowed the queueing people to enter the city. The administration could be done later, yet the defense needed time to prepare.

People from distance started to run into the city when they heard the gong. They were afraid they would be left outside the city. The people who planned to exit the city quickly returned home.

Master Rabbink saw Trevon's back who was surrounded by his guards and their families. [It's the first test of this young man.]

Every cultivator would need to come to the wall to protect the city. It was the matter of pride. Someone who didn't appear would never have any friends in the cultivation community. They were cowards who would never help you in danger.

Master Rabbink gazed towards the Core Redwood Forest direction. "This young master is ready. Let's see whether you could survive the test." The Rabbink blinked and disappeared. It appeared ten km above Redwood City. Master Rabbink could see numerous humans were rolled up by the demon beast wave.

[Life is like a candle flame.]
