58 Chapter 58: Black Star 2

6 days has passed after that wonderful night, Seiya has already moved towards his new home with the help of Ayako and Sonoko in arranging the interior design. Tomoko Suzuki has been avoiding him since that day as she would not stay at home when Seiya would come to visit. One surprising thing that he didn't expect was that inside his house, there is a big container basement underneath ground floor of the house. He only found it after he felt that the laundry machine's tiles was movable. He then began organizing and renovating the underground container basement into a laboratory as he wanted to experiment and try to create a cure against the APTX 4869 that he stolen from Gin that day.

A day later, Sonoko barged into his house as she invited him to go their Suzuki's Corporation Anniversary that will be held inside a Cruise Ship. She recommended Mouri Kogoro to her father as their consultant as he became famous after 3 days of successful solving multiple cases that gave him the title of Sleeping Kogoro, of course Seiya knew it was Conan with his plot armor doing at least 80 percent work while 20 percent from Ran and Kogoro's findings. So he agreed as he thought that he should at least not make Tomoko avoid him when they meet in the mansion. Meanwhile Sonoko was choosing what suit he should wear, he suddenly received a text from Yoko Okino as she ask if he is available next week to accompany her while she act in a TV Drama.

In which he agreed as he felt like he missed the cute actor that would blush everytime he would tease her, Yoko Okino became happy when she received his reply as she became motivated in doing well on what she was currently doing. This made the make up artist and other actor feel that she has changed. After a few minutes, Sonoko finally selected what Seiya should wear in this party as she picked a blue shirt that matches his eyes while a black suit and tie that matches his hair. After he wore it and let Sonoko see the result, she couldn't help but drool as her mind began to imagine an overbearing CEO trying to dominate her. Seiya could literally see the thoughts written in Sonoko's face this made him wanted to tease her as he did a Kabedon move onto her.

Sonoko who was brought back to the real world suddenly couldn't help but feel her heartbeat as her body felt weak while her hand was touching Seiya's shirt in which she could feel his hard pectoral muscle. Seiya whispered onto her ears before moving away.

"I'll rock your world tonight~"

Sonoko couldn't help but feel more weaken as she slowly goes down, Seiya chuckles before arranging the things he will bring. He brought his leather bag that has a medical kit and some things while he also hid his Colt M1911 behind his back but underneath his black suit jacket. After a few minutes, Sonoko finally regain normal movement as she pouted when she finally noticed that he was just teasing her. They then drove towards the Queen Elizabeth Habor where the Cruise Ship for the Anniversary was parked.

They arrived a little early as they saw Kogoro, Ran and Conan already walking towards the ship. Sonoko seeing her best friend immediately left Seiya's side as she rans toward her while saying.

"Ran! Your here!"

"Sonoko!"

Ran hugged Sonoko as Kogoro grumpily stared at Seiya as he said while conan was just ignored.

"What are you doing here kid?"

"Invited ~"

"Hmph!"

Kogoro was displease hearing that Seiya was invited, he was still grumpy because of the Yoko Okino's incident where he saw Yoko inviting Seiya for a cup of coffee. Conan on the other hand asked as he wanted to know if he has some thoughts about the Kaito 1412.

"Big brother, what do you think about the infamous thief?"

"I think that this thief is a bit childish like his name...."

"Why?"

"Because he plans to steal something less precious than the latest relic jewelry that just came in the museum."

Conan's eyebrow twitches as he heard his statement, Seiya shook his head as he knew that this incident was just make Kaito Kid create fame so that he could lead the hidden snakes out from the dark. Sonoko said good bye to Ran as she led Seiya towards where her mother is. When they arrived in the luxurious yet fancy room, they only saw Shiro and Tomoko but Ayako wasn't here. Sonoko couldn't help but ask.

"Dad, where is sister?"

"She said that she was feeling sick, so she plans to stay at home~"

"I see...." -Sonoko feeling sad, her sister couldn't attend

'Shiro Suzuki' wipe the sweat on his forehead as he excuse himself because he needed to go the bathroom. Seiya could hear 'Shiro Suzuki's heartbeat' seem to beat fast for a split second when he accidently stared at Seiya before avoiding his gaze, Seiya chuckles as let him leave through the doorway before he closed the door. Tomoko Suzuki acted calm as she carefully read the lines she wanted to speak before the event start. But inside her mind, she was conflicted as she thought.

'Is he planning to do something to me and my daughter?!'

"Mom, where did you hide the real black star?"

Tomoko's thought was interrupted as Sonoko asked this question, Tomoko cough as she spoke before giving two pearl box for Seiya and Sonoko.

"I won't tell you, because I have already devised a plan on how to keep the Black Star safe."

"Che~ Anyway, I go join Ran in their table."

Sonoko unlock the door before closing it again as it was only Seiya and Tomoko remaining in the room, she acted normal as she continue to read her script or the things she wanted to say before the event start. But Seiya didn't want to ignore the previous event, he sat beside Tomoko as he asked softly.

"Auntie, why are you avoiding me~"

Tomoko's heart was startled but her expression didn't change as she said her excuse.

"I wasn't avoiding you, I was just busy with my job."

"Don't lie to me, you should know me better than I do as I already know that you have investigate my information. Remember I am a veteran doctor that has specialize in a lot of skill that includes reading micro expression, eye movements and heart beat. I can already see and feel that you wanted to forget what happened that night, but you are hesitant. "

"I.."

Tomoko couldn't help but reveal her hesitant and conflicted expression as Seiya moved closer as he placed her on his lap. Seiya hugged her waist as he puts her head onto his chest while saying dominantly.

"I don't want you to forget nor will I let you avoid me for the rest of your life, because I am already responsible enough to bear the consequence that you think will happen if we continue this kind of relationship."

Tomoko's conflicted feeling couldn't help but decrease as her ears could hear the strong beating of Seiya's heart. Seiya spoke more caring and loving words as Tomoko was sitting in his lap seem to turned into a soft kitten that was hugging her treasure. After a few minutes, Seiya then spoke while replacing the Black Star that Tomoko was wearing.

"That Shiro Suzuki that was with us a few minutes ago is not the real one, I know that the real black star is the one you are wearing because a black pearl that has reach a few centuries old would not shine, even if you wore to use a polisher."

Tomoko Suzuki was shock as she heard his first statement while she was surprise on how he knew of her plan, Seiya then called Ayako to show the evidence as Ayako who was with Shiro in their home was curious why her lover called. She spoke.

"Hello?"

"Ayako, are you with uncle?"

"Yes, isn't the party going to start later afternoon?"

"No, it is going to start in half an hour..."

Seiya spoke that they have another Shiro on board this made the real Shiro beside Ayako feel surprise and a little angry since someone was impersonating him. Tomoko was already having thoughts on why the Shiro beside her a few minutes ago would take a sneak peek on the black star she was wearing. After a minute, Seiya hanged up as he said while holding Tomoko's hand.

"Just leave the Black Star's Safety to me, I promise that tonight it will still remain in our hands."

"I believe you~"

Tomoko seeing Seiya's sincere eyes couldn't help but softly responded as if she was his little wife, they then acted like nothing happened as Seiya sat on the opposite sofa when the door just opened as the fake Shiro Suzuki walks in as he asked.

"Did I miss anything?"

"Nothing, it's just I was wondering if the magician we hired have already arrived in the vicinity."

"I see.."

Kaito Kid didn't know that he was already caught before the game has just started. He was still thinking on how to steal the Black Star underneath the nose of the Police Division 2 and the Sleeping Kogoro.
