31 Chapter 31: Tropical Land 2

After lunch, the kids led Seiya towards a haunted mansion while Mouri Ran pulled Shinichi to the Water Fountain Plaza, because it would activate in a certain schedule so coming here after lunch is a good choice. When they arrived inside the haunted mansion, it made the two boys tremble while Ayumi and Seiya were curious. It was like a Harry Potter and the forbidden journey ride from Universal Studio, they would ride this moving cart which was 2 person per cart as the staff secured the safety straps that held them tightly to the cart. Because the moving cart would move vigorously and would fly from a 1st to 5th floor height.

Ayumi held Seiya's right hand tightly as she saw their vision darkening, Seiya controlled his eyesight because he has a habit of turning his eyes into night vision. Perfect control of the body is really a powerful ability to the point he could acquire the abilities of an animal that a human can't have unless they use technology, when the cart started to move. Seiya stared at the changing scenes, he can only think a of a word.

'Amazing....'

The technology they used for this haunted mansion was more advance than his previous life amusement because not only the corpse move forward and backward, it can also jumps on top of their cart and move some things. This made Ayumi scared as she saw a zombie aggressively crawling towards them while the Cart was backing up, the thrill of the ride and the suspense of the background sound was there as he heard the two boy scream like girls. In the end of the Haunted Mansion, Seiya smiled as he said.

"It was fun, I feel like I want to try again."

"Big brother, wasn't it scary?"

"It is not scary, because I have seen more scarier than the zombie and ghost that moves around us."

Seiya was speaking the truth since doing surgery against time is the real thriller of a surgeon, while the horrors of fighting against mafia, criminals and terrorist has too many consequence such as death of comrades. Injured that ranges from minor to lethal, Seiya didn't describe what he have experienced because these three were still kids and would probably change their mind when they grow older. But he didn't know in the future the three kids would become a police officer that would be famous for solving hard cases, while the little illegal loli will become one of his wives.

Seiya led the team to the nearest public toilet, because the two boys couldn't hold their pee anymore. But before they went in. Seiya told them that they would wait inside that restaurant. Ayumi and Seiya sat down as they ordered some light snack and drinks, Ayumi who felt tired immediately walks out from her seat and moved towards Seiya as she ask him to carry her in which he happily oblige. While they were waiting for the two, Seiya observed two familiar men that was walking around the place. He still sigh softly as he knew some things will still happen, now he was wondering what profit can he get if he accidently bump into one of them. Thinking about that pill made Seiya feel intrigue on how it works. Ayumi who had her head close to his chest heard the fast beating of his heart, she couldn't help but ask.

"Big brother, are you okay? Why is your heart moving fast?"

"I'm okay, I was just thinking what fun rides are we going to play?"

"I heard that Mysterious Coaster is fun."

"Why not? Lets go there after your friends finish their bathroom time."

"Yeah! *Ayumi hugs Seiya's neck as she begin her new daily sniffing*"

Ayumi wished that Seiya was her real brother so that she could always sleep with him and feel comfortable and relax, Seiya didn't know of Ayumi's thoughts as he devised a plan which was risk free while also getting the pill case. After a few minutes, Genta and Mitsuhiko finish doing their business and went to the restaurant where Seiya and Ayumi are. Seiya waive his hand which attracted the two and saw the snacks that they bought like fries, fruit cake and a few drinks.

Seiya then lead the three kids towards the Mysterious Coaster where there was a line in the normal section while the VIP section was where Shinichi and Mouri Ran were, since this date was fully sponsored by Shinichi, Seiya had sympathy and some doubts for poor ran who has a problematic family. The father was a drunkard, gambler while the mother who was successful as the Queen of Law was separated from the family. He wondered why she didn't follow her mother when it was the husband who disliked the wife's dark cooking that led the separation.

Mouri Ran waived her hand when they noticed Seiya, Shinichi also greeted Seiya as he walks towards him while leading the conversation.

"Brother Seiya, can you talk about the cases you have solve?"

Shinichi who is a high school detective in which Seiya didn't know if its a legal license or just a curious brat that was allowed by the police to enter and solve their case. It might the one of the reason why Superintendent General Hakuba hired him as a consultant, Seiya only talk about the things that can spoken since there are some cases where it is restricted to spread information about it. While Ayumi talk with Ran about some cute and beautiful animals as Genta and Mitsuhiko talk about Kamen Yaiba.

Only Seiya knew what was about to happen as he continued to distract Shinichi with the one of the easy case that he solved but he describe it how it manipulative and scheming the criminal was, Shinichi tried to analyze things. He turns around and saw Gin and Vodka silently waiting as Gin glanced at him for a split second before ignoring him then glancing at Kudo for a few seconds before closing his eyes. Shinichi who was analyzing also felt the murderous gaze which made him thought.

'This guy's glaring like he's killed a lot of people before without a second thought...'

After a few minutes it was their turn, Seiya took the cart in front with Ayumi because he didn't want the blood to splatter onto Ayumi and his body. While Genta and Mitsuhiko were in a bad luck because the soon to be dead guy was in front of them. Seiya could only pray that they would not be traumatize in the next event. While Mouri Ran grip Shinichi's hand as she felt the nervousness when the roller coaster was rising up.
