6 1B-1: No Condolences

Gavin was frustrated, how could Shaun be so careless! They had been doing this forever and this was the one time he decided to ruin everything! There wasn't even anything around him to let his rage out. He was walking and walking, until he looked across him to see Shaun running from a beast. At first he thought, Man that's what he deserves. Second he thought, wait, what if he actually dies. And finally, the only question that really mattered, what was a monster doing in this realm?

He had been traveling to this dimension for years by now and not once had he ever seen a monster in here. Other than in the memories, that is. And it was also made up of the memories, what was going on? He kept walking, watching it chase Shaun, it was almost... enjoyable. What the hell was wrong with him? Did he want his only friend to die? ...did he?

He didn't think about that twice, until he saw the beast gaining on Shaun, the fear on his face, priceless. And then he stopped. He turned and dropped on his knees. How stupid could he be to give up so easily? Eh, what did he expect from him. The beast began to charge up, Gavin already knew what was about to happen. He simply stood there, watching the thing charge, ready to end Shaun's life. And for some reason, in that moment, Gavin looked on with a crazed grin, and didn't feel any sympathy for his soon to be dead friend.
