12 1A-5: Broken

Shaun woke up in a void, had he fallen into a memory as he was dropped? It seemed likely, and this would assure he wasn't dead. But this wasn't a good memory, there were never supposed to be memories where there was nothing. Well, there was someone, but they were just standing there, facing down. All Shaun had to do to get out was wait for the memory to end. But it wasn't ending. 1 minute, 5, 10, 30. It wasn't ending. He finally got tired and walked up to the child. It... it was him. And when he reached for himself, the child quickly grabbed him by the wrist with incredible force, it hurt. He was starting to count, and with each second counting towards 0 his grip tightened. 7,6,5,4... the child began to draw a knife. 3...2...1.... 0.

After being completely destroyed by himself, the torture finally stopped. But that's when he realized, this memory was corrupted. It wouldn't change anything in the real world other than Shaun's recollection of what happened. And knowing this, he took the knife from the child's hand. He stared at it for a bit.

And then he plunged it into the child. He did it over and over again. He didn't stop until there was blood gushing our of every hole he created in his body. He was sick and tired of being pushed around and not being able to do anything about it. He wouldn't be a victim, not anymore. Instead, the victims would be the people who terrorized him. And if that meant he had to kill everyone in his path, well, he couldn't care less.
