5 1A-2: Alone

He had been running for so long, his legs were cramping. It hurt so much, he wanted to just collapse on the ground and let the beast take him. He rather be dead then in the incredible suffering he was in. That's when he realized, the stomping had stopped. He finally stopped and behind him, the beast stood. Taunting him, making him think he was safe. It began preparing to charge at him. This was it, there was nothing to protect him, no one to protect him. He was all alone. From an early age, Shaun wasn't exactly the most popular kid. He wasn't ugly, just not handsome enough. He wasn't dumb, he just wasn't smart enough.

He wasn't bad, he just wasn't good enough.

He always had this looming helpless feeling. He could never stop the bullies from coming because the staff was so done of his "whining" the kid barely even got a slap on the wrist. It was infuriating, so much so he finally fought back. And then they got involved, not to stop him from getting bullied, but to call him out for being a bully. Everything was against him and he hated it. He wasn't a bully, he had just stepped out of line.

He came back to his current situation, probably about to die. He wished Gavin was there with him, at least he wouldn't die alone. He was terrified, and yet he knew he couldn't fight back, he couldn't stop it either. He hated these kind situations he'd had to deal with his entire life. With all the hopelessness in his heart, he kneeled down, cried his final tears, and let the beast destroy him.
