1 Just a Normal Day

Today was a beautiful day outside, birds were singing a beautiful melody, the flowers in the garden were in full bloom and it just was a great day outside today.

Chara woke up from her bed as the first sunrays went through the curtains and touched her lovely face. It was time to wake up and do all the house chores.

She got out of her bed and started to do some stretches, getting all the exhaustion and stiffness out of her body.

She yawned as she did that, she wasn't really a morning person, but as a great housewife it was given to wake up before their partner, not that she was here or anything.

She went into the bathroom, brushed her teeth, washed her face, just doing her morning routine, after that she changed into more fitting clothes.

Her instincts told her to wear her green shirt with a yellow stripe today. She felt strange as she grabbed it, but something inside her just compelled to wear it today.

The moment she wore it she felt a wave of nostalgia go through her. This was the same kind of shirt she wore on her adventure with her. A tear came flowing down her cheek as she remembered that, but she quickly dismissed the thought and finished dressing up.

"I have to take care of her house."

And that she did. After fully dressing up Chara started cleaning the house from up to down, until each spot was free from any dust.

She chuckled, she would have never thought that she would do this much housework anytime, for anyone, but true love really changes people.

After she finished cleaning the house until it shown she stretched again. Looking at the work she did today. She felt proud at the improvement from the first time as she cleaned the house. It kind of ended up a bit messy and her partner had to help her clean up the mess.

Yes, she indeed changed, tremendously even.

She looked at the clock and was surprised at the time. It was already noon!

She missed breakfast, but what was more important was the fact that she had to prepare lunch! As a great wife she couldn't let her spouse go hungry for lunch! Not that she would return anytime soon...

And so, Chara walked out of the door to collect some ingredients from the garden.

Carrots, peas and onions, honestly only simple stuff. She only planned to make some fried rice after all, nothing to complicated.

She went back into the kitchen, starting the process of cooking.

(I ain't a cook, not even the slightest bit tbh, so don't complain if I mess up something in the following description.)

She first took the onions and diced them into little cubes, she did the same with the carrots, only that she cut them into little sticks instead of cubes.

The next step for her was oiling the pan, before putting the remaining white rice from yesterday into it to fry it, after a moment of frying she then put the onions, carrots, and peas together with the rice to fry it.

After a while she was finished with the simple meal.

Satisfied with the results she put the two portions of fried rice on two plates and served them to her family.

Normally it would have been her and her wife, but she was still on a business trip, dealing with this around the universe.

Chara sighed before putting a portion before a portrait of her, looking at it for a moment. After a while she decided to look at the picture in another angle and sat down right before it, starting to eat her meal.

After a moment of silent eating Chara suddenly stopped.

"You know, partner."

Partner, calling her like that was a habit of hers. She called her like that one the first day they met, she continued calling her that throughout their adventure, she called her like that as long as she remembered meeting her. This habit only grew stronger with marriage.

"It's been a while and I am not talking about you being away or anything."

Chara had a smile on her face as she talked to the picture. She just had the feeling that she would be here, listening to her, even if they are universes apart.

"I am talking about the day we finally managed to free everyone."

Talking about this only made her smile grew bigger.

"So many tries, so many decisions, so many resets, but after countless and countless retries you finally managed to free everyone."

Chara stood up from her seat, walking to a framed picture, a very important framed picture for her and her friends.

It was the old picture they took that already started greying out. It was the picture they directly took after getting down from MT. EBOTT.

She looked at it, going over everyone's faces with her hand, as if she tried reaching out to them.

"Toriel, sans, Papyrus, Undyne, Alphys, Asgore..."

She chuckled a bit looking at the picture. It was really nostalgic.

"...Mettaton, Muffet, Scarlet, heck, even Napstablook and Monster Kid are on here!"

She smiled, she smiled at the memories she made alongside each single one of them. She smiled remembering the great times they all had together.

"And of course, we can't forget the most important people we had difficulties to save."

Her happy smile turned a bit to an embarrassed one. Justifiably so, considering that these four were the cause of an uncountable number of resets.

"Asriel, me, Gaster and last but not least, you."

She brushed her hand over the picture of the young girl that was just the same age as her as she fell into the underground.

"You know, this was the most surprising for all of us. The fact that you went through so much, just to reach the ultimate ending still astounds me up to this day if I think about it now."

Yes, it was an incredible feat. Making even her forget about a sizeable number of resets, manipulating time and space, breaking walls, rules, and boundaries. Feel the intangible, see the unseeable and do the impossible, that's what she did just to reach this ultimate conclusion.

"You know, what you did was really incredible, especially when you started melting, literally."

Melting, or to be more specific, losing your form.

"Well, I guess that was the payback of the world for you after you did so many fate defying things. Consider, monsters only started melting because they were injected with pure determination and their bodies couldn't handle it and now there is you. Human bodies are much more resilient and stronger than that of monsters, thus more compatible with determination. The fact that you managed to build so much of it that it started blasting your body away is an incredible feat!"

Chara started laughing, trying to play it off as a casual joke, but she couldn't. That situation was so close that even after so many years she couldn't laugh about it.

"You know, I considered ending the world again the moment you decided to do your little sacrifice for us."

Chara sits their silently, thinking about her past.

"You know, at the beginning everything was black or white for me."

She started to recount her memories from even before she fell into the underground. She chuckled. Tt was basically still the medieval times when she was born.

War against monsterkind ended a couple of years ago and she was from the generation after the generation that was just born right after the war.

People still lived-in poverty and kings still ruled over the lands.

"At the time where I lived I only looked at everything through a black and white lens. Everything that was dark in color was considered bad and everything colored brightly I considered good."

Nowadays she laughed at that thought, nothing could be considered purely good or bad, but at that time, as an innocent little child, she just did.

"It was a tumultuous time. Bandit raids were frequent, war was waged and so many more things happened."

She just leaned her head against her hand, looking at the picture in front of her. Setting the picture in her hand down on the table and completely forgetting about the food ahead of her.

"I was bullied a lot, because of my red eyes and pale skin. It was very strange for that time you know? Red colored eyes are considered rare, even today. After all you need the determination trait to have them and at that time most of the people were farmers, getting tanned under the sun, while I just didn't. Of course, seeing something they didn't understand made them hostile to me, even ending up in exiling me and my family. At that time, I saw everyone in the village as pitch black in color."

Her eyes were vacant as she retold that story of hers. Chara didn't know why, but she had the feeling that she had to talk about that story again, even though she already heard it once.

"Well, my parents didn't resent me for what happened, after all I was still their flesh and blood and so we decided to live in seclusion deep inside the mountain, were we could bother nobody. It wasn't the best of lives, but I was happy just being with my parents at that time."

Chara still had that little patient smile on her face, but it immediately turned into a frown afterwards.

"Well, until we were pursued by the king and my mother told me how she wished to have never given birth to me. It was pretty devastating for me to be honest."

Chara stretched after retelling that part of her past. This was an emotional rollercoaster for her, so she felt a bit drained. She started eating the rice again.

"Well, at that time I really hated humanity. One thing after another turned black to me, until I saw nothing but a dark abyss. I hated humanity so much, yet I couldn't do anything and had to run away from pursuers, ultimately falling through a hole into the underground."

Chara shoveled the rice into her with a fast pace, until she seemingly remembered something.

"By the way, you really never told me the reason why you decided to jump down."

"Well, I did that because of the goodness in my heart. I found it unfair how humans just unreasonably sealed monsters away, so I decided to make my own opinion. That's why I jumped down."

Chara stood up and looked around her as she suddenly heard her voice. She was surprised because it basically came from absolutely nowhere. But after a while Chara just clutched her head and shook it.

"How pathetic, starting to hallucinate, just because I am lonely."

She looked at the framed picture again, before lifting it up and planting a kiss on it.

"Please, just come back soon, partner."

She put the picture back down to its place, before cleaning the table up and continue the day like usual.

It really was just an ordinary day.

~(Warning! If you don't like big ass info dumps, then don't read the next passage. Like seriously, even I think I made this part a bit obnoxious. You have been warned.)~

Meanwhile, in another place a certain woman who embodied all the neutral paths in the multiverse was arguing with her big brother.

"Big brother, you should do something against our little brother! He is causing chaos and disorder wherever he goes to!"

Her big brother was the embodiment of all the good paths in the multiverse, he was the eldest of the siblings and the most powerful.

He looked at his sister with a very menacing gaze, making her take a step backwards.

She gulped as she saw this, but she won't step on this yet. Suddenly his face turned into a rather goofy smile, making her feel like she wasted all her tension.

"Come on, Neutral. What did I tell you about bad? Let him do his things, it's part of the order of the multiverse after all."

Neutral grit her teeth as she heard that. That's what her big brother always told her, the order of the multiverse. This frustrated her very much.

"Aren't you supposed to be the all the good of the multiverse? So why do I, Neutral, have to nag you about doing the good choice here, all the damn time? Do your damn job and stop our brother from doing an..."

"...infinite loop of making someone kill of all the monsters in the underground, venture to the surface to kill all humans, leave earth to kill all remaining life in the universe, reset and do everything all over again, just like The Curse?"

Neutral held in after she noticed the change in the tone of his voice. Why did her brother had to be multi faced?

"Neutral, you know where we are, right?"

Neutral looked around her, before nodding.

"Yes, we are in your place of authority, right? The Sealing Designation Space."

Good nodded at his sisters answer. Yes, this was his place of authority. The most dreadful place around you could get sealed in as a universe level existence.

"And do you know why this space exists?"

Neutral opened her mouth, wanting to say something, thinking that she knew the answer, but she realized. She realized that she knew nothing of this space since her brother took control over this space.

"This space is for sealing hazardous universes away and not only this, but it also seals away outer gods that are a danger to the multiverse, beings of pure destruction that broke the boundaries of the world, like the universe devouring worm and so many more things that could disrupt the order. You might consider Evil a danger to everything, but other than everything that is inside this multi-dimensional, multi-layered place that I call mine, he is just a little kid that plays around and doesn't know what to do. Do you understand, my idiot sister?"

Neutral gulped, this was the first time she heard that this was the thing he had to do for the grand scheme of things.

"How are you able to let them stay sealed? Some of these things are just difficult to let them sit still in one place, so how?"

Good chuckled waving his hands back, revealing that the 'room' they were in was in fact a multi-dimensional constructed field.

"It's extremely difficult, to be honest. The easy one, like the evil people that the good of mischief decides to reincarnate just for the joke of it sometimes, or the evil people that an airhead of an outer god accidentally reincarnates again, are simply just sealed in an infinite labyrinth. It has no entrance, is a complex of multiple linked passages, there is no distinction of walls, ceiling, or floor, these four things don't even really exist, because they are made out of hyper-compressed space. Well, because it's compressed space there isn't the usual way of multiverse hoping, so they are stuck there, but if they somehow make the teleport various interference tools just teleport them to another copy of an infinity labyrinth and they stay stuck, it's as easy as that."

Neutral gulped, with most of them having immortality it will be eternal hell for them, but still, this didn't deal with the higher threats! Though, her brother mentioned that this was for the easiest things that got a sealing designation slapped in them.

"Of course, the infinity-labyrinth is rarely used because I could simply erase their existence from the akashic records, but there are just always these little special cases that requires this. Well, then there are the beings that are getting a mid-tier designation slapped on them. Well, to be honest, most of the time I trap then in a dimensional layer that is always one layer above them and create the illusion that they are fighting with me, successfully defeating me, because their brains can't handle the distinction between reality and illusion anymore, because it basically melted together for them they are caught in an infinite repeat of defeating me over and over again without knowing that they are in a loop."

Good looked at his sister, making a shiver go down her spine.

"You also wouldn't know if you are a caught in a loop or not."

She slapped him for that, now wasn't the time for joking.

"Well and at last the special-designation beings."

He just put his index finger before his mouth, before giving a 'ssshhhhh' sound. He won't tell her.

"This is classified information from the omniversal administration, so you don't have the right to know, sorry Neutral."

There was is again, Good being silly.

"Well, alright, your job is sealing away these super-duper-dangerous beings away that disrupt the order of the omniverse, but you still didn't explain why you let Evil roam freely around like this."

He just patted his little sisters head.

"It's simple, he is just a pouting little kid that doesn't know anything else to do, then just causing a bit unrest. You should already know, but he lost all resemblance of a soul already. He isn't HATE, FEAR, DESPAIR, or anything like this. He is just the infinite embodiment of LOVE. The more LOVE he accumulates, the more his existence is assured, that's why he does the things he does. You should know that Evil is just a soulless husk, killing everyone on sight. For that he possesses hosts to give them infinite power, but that's what he does. He has no way of damaging the fabric of existence, he has no other way than going meticulously through every living being, killing them one after another."

Neutral nodded, indeed. With the dangerous enemies she already fought, Evil really was the one that caused the least destruction, but still...

"Neutral, just consider Evil as a Kodoku. Evil is just the concentrated LOVE of all the universe, but do you even know how he got to that position? He didn't just mindlessly kill everything on his path, he is looking around for the beings that are just on the same path as him. Gaining EXP, increasing LOVE, breaking the limit the world sets one upon. He doesn't gain anything if killing the ones with a low amount of EXP anymore, he only gains something if he kills beings with a high amount of LOVE and I am more willing to let him roam around here, dealing with those insignificant beings, than having to slap multiple low sealing designations everywhere, wasting precious space. Do you understand now, my dear little sister?"

~(Well, at this point I would say that the info dumps are mostly over. The rest of this section is rather important, so don't skip it for your own enjoyment.)~

Neutral shivered. Damn was this situation uncomfortable. She understood his point, but at the end it still didn't sit well with her.

"Anyways, what is your reason to visit me after such a long time? I am sure you aren't here just to complain about our little brother, right?"

Neutral gritted her teeth, before just giving up on complaining and just sighing as a reaction. Why did Good just have to be like that?

"Sigh, yes. Like always, I have more to ask from you. Things really never have changed, have they? We three are still like the times when we were still restrained by code."

Good chuckled, yes things didn't really change. Evil still looked for trouble, Neutral was still uppity about her ideals and he was still the big brother the two more or less relied on. Things didn't really change, even now when they are embodiment of the very core concept of this universe.

"Indeed, things really didn't change. So, what did you want to ask your onii-chan?"

Neutral started blushing as her big brother said big brother in such a teasing manner. Damn, why did he always had to be so reliable! Well, it was a given, considering that he was the eldest, but that didn't change the fact that the three of them were triplets! So why was that guy so reliable?

"Ahem, anyways. I am talking about the singularity that was left behind after the total erasure of universe..."

Neutral was suddenly shut up as her brother put his hand on her mouth, at first she was very surprised, but she understood as she suddenly felt a presence that was just about a bit stronger than her, but a considerable amount weaker than her big brother.

"Oh my, oh my. I am wondering why someone from the omniversal administration would visit such a faraway place. Don't tell me that you have trouble again that is worth putting a special sealing designation on it?"

The rather voluptuous goddess just gave her brother a knowing smile, acting all mysteriously.

"Ara, don't worry. I am not here to send you a massage about such danger! We would be in quite the pickle if something like these things would emerge again. No, I am here because of something else."

Her brother nodded, before conjuring some tables with seats a bit of tea. He sat down on it, offering the goddess a seat.

"Well, if it's not a special sealing designation, what is the reason of your visit? You already know, but this place is an independent place from the omniversal administration that brings everything under its jurisdiction once the universe is deemed as significant enough. The only place I know that is slightly similar like ours would be the Touhou universe."

"Yes, yes, there a quite few universes that prefer their independence like that, well today is about that though..."

Good suddenly glared at 'Destiny', the outer goddess that didn't really have business here in this multiverse. She also wouldn't have the authority to make such an offer like this.

"WoAH! Calm down! It's not about usurping this place, alright? It's about letting go of a couple of few souls, is that negotiable?"

Good looked at 'Destiny' suspiciously. Why would she want souls from this place? The omniverse is vast enough...

"Why should I allow it? You know that I am not the only person of authority in this place. Doing something like releasing souls from here would give me trouble with the other jerks, especially Alpha won't find it funny if I do stuff like that. Now tell me, why should I get in trouble for the likes of you?"

Destiny started to sweat intensely as she was under Goods intense glare. Maybe being completely honest would sit well with him? Destiny started to fidget a bit.

"Would it be an insult to you if I told you that I am doing this for the marriage of me and my partner?"

Good looked at the foreign outer goddess as if he just heard the most outrageous line from the biggest clown in a radius of 5 multiverses. He was really dumbfounded as she said that, but he didn't hate it.

"Fine, just take them, how many is 'a few' for you?"

"A universes worth."

Good looked at her again, this time just confused.

"Why the hell do you need a universes worth in souls?"

Destiny just chuckled at that question. Good didn't really care though and gave the outer goddess the permission of taking these souls to a completely different universe than theirs.

He found the aspect of someone from here to be reincarnated in a world that has different concepts interesting. After all, didn't the souls from here have the same potential as the souls that were given 'The Path'?

Good chuckled, Vahn got far with 'The Path' that Klyscha gifted him. How would a soul from here compare to that?

Well, he dismissed the thought again, after all the souls here would only continue to grow as long as they have the desire to grow more powerful. That Frisk only got to Soul Tier 8, because of her desire to gain the authority of 'peace' to be the goddess of peace.

Sadly, she was a bit too hasty and forsake the most important thing for that, her emotions. May she live her life happily ever after in another universe.

Good just yawned. This wasn't anything too special if he was honest with himself.

After all, today was also just an ordinary day for dealing with universal stuff.
