1 Internet love

-this is only a one-time story, no chapters or whatnot.

It's raining, so hard you can barely hear anything outside. Sasha, Our main character for this story, is just a normal girl who wants to have someone to love, have some fun, and things teens do. She stood up from her bed to close the curtains looking outside, so gloomy and so dark. only street lights were the only thing glowing. She closed the window, feeling nothing even when she looked outside. Then her phone vibrated when a message popped up. It was her friend, Catherine. She went on and lie in her bed. Looking at the message, she was intrigued.

[Sasha! omg! you won't believe what I just found out!!!]

Sasha replied, [what is it? it better be exciting.]

[of course, duh. There's this place on Facebook...I'm not sure if it's legal, but there's a lot of people there!]

[Catherine, if you're gonna do cyberbully, count me out I'm not like that.]

[seriously Sasha? what the heck do you even think of me? anyway, that's not the point, What I'm telling you is to come with me to this so-called RPW. You know what? I'm gonna call you right now we have a lot to talk about.]

Sasha's phone rang suddenly, Catherine. of course Sasha picked it up.

"girl! omg so this so-called rpw--"

"wait what IS rpw??"

"oh! it's a place where we hide our true identity and like, we create profiles...."

she continues to describe the Rpw, saying, this place is full of people whose profiles are mostly fake. For example, your profile is a celebrity, it's not you. You get what I mean.

"Okay, so where should I start?"

"creating an acc? duh."

after minutes and minutes and minutes of looking for a photo of a Celebrity, Sasha created an acc.

"hmm, what should I name my account?"

"what about Lilith? you were going on and on about how you like that name."

"oh yeah."

"add a lot of them! oh! it's soo exciting to hide your identity from people!.. oh shoot, I gotta drop this call Sasha I have somewhere to go and it's urgent. ill just send you the details later. Good luck! mwa!"

"Okay, stay safe Catherine."

the call ended

Sasha's phone vibrated. It's Catherine's message.

[um, rules I forgot to tell you....]

Sasha understood all of them, But one of the rules took her attention

[Sasha, never fall in love in this world. You never know if it's fake or not. I mean this IS a fake world. anyway, gotta go, love ya!]

"never..fall in...love?"

Sasha doubted she would even love someone in that fake world. She didn't know what was coming to her. She took her time adding friends she didn't even know until Facebook said to limit her friend requests. she groaned and went downstairs to get water. Leaving her phone unattended. She saw her parents being super lovely with each other. She rolled her eyes and just retreated with her blessings (HAHAHAHAHA I don't know how to describe it but it's like, she's envying their love) when she drank the water, she immediately went upstairs for her gift to her parents, it's their anniversary after all. running upstairs, she opened her room hurriedly to get the gift but then something vibrated. It's her phone. someone messaged her.

[hi.]

didn't know what to do, she ignored it and went to give her parents the gift.

"Happy Anniversary mom, dad. enjoy."

Sasha smiled with her parents and went upstairs again. This time she took her phone and replied.

[um, hi?]

[woah. you replied.]

[yeah, haha.]

They went on and chatted with each other all day. She felt happy chatting with, "Keanu Xion". The day ended and she went on with her normal night routine.

Morning came, she immediately took her phone and went online. She saw that there are messages when she was asleep.

[are you sleeping?] 3:07 am

[I can't wait to talk to you again.] 4:23 am

[HAHAHA, good morning. are you sleeping right now? you shouldn't sleep that late you know?]

Sasha was shocked to see that he replied.

[hey, did you sleep yet?]

Their chats went on for hours.

5months after they met.

Sasha felt happy she met him in this fake world. She felt it was real so she decided to confess to him that she likes him. It was 6:08 in the evening.

And that's how they started to talk as "more than friends but less than lovers". "Keanu " Courted "Lilith." they went on for 3months then Sasha finally answered him.

what a pity it's just internet love. As love goes on perfectly, It doesn't mean no problems are waiting for them. They were sweet at the first month they are together but then Sasha's grades went downhill. Her mother was also sick. She didn't know what to do so she didn't go online for a month without chatting Keanu.

it was the day. The day of their monthsarry, but as always, Sasha did not go online.

[Lilith where are you?]

[are u okay?]

even though Sasha ignored Keanu, he kept loving her. I guess not everything is fake after all. Then sasha went online.

[hey, Keanu. I think we should break up.]

It all ends there. Sasha left her account for 10 years. Now she has 2 children and a loving husband. She just completely forgot all about it. Then one day at a cafe, where sasha and her family was supposed to meet with Catherine's family.

"Hey Lilith!"

"what? Lilith? That was such a long time ago."

She chuckled

"who's lilith babe?"

"oh, it's my rp name."

"rp?"

Sasha explained everything

"To be honest i wonder how's Keanu."

"who's keanu?"

"My first love"

They continue to chat with the family and play.

"Sasha! Girl! When did you leave your acc? Its been so long right? You should check it"

Sasha nodded. After hours of playing, they finally went home after the kids got home they immediately fell asleep. As Catherine said, Sasha checked her acc.
