15 Chapter 15 The Target Part 1

A while later, when Tatsurou and Shirayuki got inside the mall, they went straight to a clothes store, this one was chosen by Tatsurou as it was the one Hime, usually, goes to and to be honest it was, a safe bet, as Tatsurou didn't know of many stores that sold clothes for women, when they got inside Shirayuki's eyes opened wide upon seeing the size of it and the dozens upon dozens of clothes it had.

"Wow, there's so many clothes here!" Shirayuki said with an excited tone as she looked to all sides.

"Say, Shirayuki-san you've never been to a store like this?" Tatsurou asked as he smiled with her reaction.

"That's actually right, only ever used shrine maiden clothes or kimonos, so it really is my first time..." As Shirayuki said this to Tatsurou, he got lost in thought thinking how she would look in a kimono, but then they were suddenly interrupted by a young and polite saleswoman.

"Hello there! Can I help you with something?" The woman asked from behind Shirayuki, this scared her a bit and by consequence Shirayuki hid behind Tatsurou, the woman got a bit worried upon seeing her reaction.

"Yes, could you get some clothes for her, please?" Tatsurou said as he tried to hold back his laugh, after seeing Shirayuki's reaction.

"Sure thing! Come with me, please!" The woman said as she grabbed Shirayuki's hand and took her to the changing rooms, Tatsurou was surprised by how fast the woman did her job as he followed them...

After the woman put Shirayuki inside one of the changing rooms, that was free, the woman then proceeded to take a lot of clothes for Shirayuki to try, meanwhile Tatsurou waited...

"Are you done?" Tatsurou asked with a curious tone as he looked at the changing room Shirayuki was in.

"Almost done, I'm really, not used to these types of clothes..." Shirayuki said from the inside of the changing room, and after that, for a while, she kept silent again.

"What's wrong, Shirayuki-san?" Tatsurou asked again, a bit worried.

"Everything's ok, I'm coming out now..." Shirayuki said after another bit of silence, she then proceeded to pull the curtain of the changing room and as she did, Tatsurou became speechless, Shirayuki was wearing a white summer dress that fitted her perfectly, it showed off her curves and slender legs making her look a bit taller, it also showed that Shirayuki had, in fact, quite the generous chest, something that Tatsurou couldn't tell, from when he saw her with shrine maiden clothes, and all of the made Tatsurou blush, as he looked at her in silence and completely mesmerized, and after a while, Shirayuki broke the silence.

"H-How do I look, Tatsurou-san?" Shirayuki asked this a bit suddenly which made Tatsurou come back to the real world.

"You look amazing...!" Tatsurou said without thinking, this made Shirayuki's face blush extremely, and upon realizing what he said, Tatsurou also started blushing.

"Wait, I mean, you look really beautiful and it suits you perfectly..." Tatsurou said as he moved his hands a bit, but this made Shirayuki close the curtain of the dressing room and it looked, as if, you could see smoke coming out of it.

"S-Shirayuki-san...?" Tatsurou asked with a worried tone, Shirayuki then opened the curtain a bit, so that he could only see her face.

"Then, I will take this one, Tatsurou-san, but just this one, alright..." Shirayuki said with an embarrassed tone as she closed the curtain again.

"Yeah, sure, then you tell the woman to bring it to the counter and I will go pay it..." Tatsurou said also embarrassed, Shirayuki just nodded from behind the curtain.

"I'm such an idiot, what the hell was I thinking?" Tatsurou asked himself as he blushed again as he went to the counter to pay.

"H-He said, I looked "amazing" and "beautiful"..." Shirayuki said as she got undressed and blushed with a smile on her face as she remembered Tatsurou's words...

After paying up, Tatsurou and Shirayuki, went to a few other stores to get some other things that Shirayuki might need, and when they finished, they went back to the monorail station and made they're way back home, and as they were sitting in one of the benches in the monorail, a silence reigned between them.

"Thank you, for buying me this, Tatsurou-san!" Shirayuki said with a smile, as she held the bag with her dress and the other things she bought, inside.

"No need to thank me, I'm surprised that you just wanted that dress..." Tatsurou said as he scratched his head and looked away from Shirayuki.

"I don't need that many clothes and I don't want you to waste money..." Shirayuki said as she smiled a bit.

"You don't have to worry about that, my mom, always gives me too much allowance, and I end up saving more than spending, so if there's anything you want you can ask me, no problem!" Tatsurou said as he got up, since they were to arrive at the station close to his place.

"Don't worry, Tatsurou-san, if need something, I will ask" Shirayuki said as she too got up, and shortly after the monorail stooped and as Tatsurou and Shirayuki got out, something made Tatsurou suddenly look behind him.

"What the..." Tatsurou thought, as he felt someone looking at him and Shirayuki.

"No way, we're being followed?!" Tatsurou thought again as he looked to all sides, trying to find, whoever was looking at them, but he was out of luck as the station was filled with people and he couldn't pinpoint who it was.

"Tatsurou-san, is everything, alright?" Shirayuki asked as she saw that Tatsurou, had suddenly stooped.

"Yes, everything's alright, I just thought, I saw someone I know..." Tatsurou said as he began to walk again, but still looking over his shoulder, as they got to the entrance of the station.

But as they got out of the station, Tatsurou could still feel that someone was looking at them...

"I'm not imagining things, someone is really following us...I have to do something..." Tatsurou thought as he looked over his shoulder then at Shirayuki.

"Shirayuki-san, I just remembered, we don't have milk, you don't mind going on ahead home and I will go to the convenience store to get some..." Tatsurou said as he looked discretely over his shoulder.

"I don't mind, I will go prepare something for us to eat, while I wait for you to come back..." Shirayuki said, as she gave a confused look to Tatsurou, but somehow, it felt as if she knew what was going on.

"Don't worry, I'll be quick!" Tatsurou said as he started walking towards the direction of the convenience store and Shirayuki began walking towards the apartment, and the reason why Tatsurou decided to tell Shirayuki to go home was that whoever was following them, the aura that gave off killing intent, was towards Tatsurou, strangely enough.

And as Tatsurou kept walking, the person followed behind him, upon seeing that, he began to run and the person that followed him did the same, and after a small run Tatsurou turned to a back alley, and his pursuer also went to the same alley, but she stooped, because when she went into the back alley, Tatsurou was nowhere to be seen.

"W-Where, did he go?" The person asked as she looked to all sides.

"Behind you!" Tatsurou said as he appeared behind this person, a girl with aqua blue hair and silver eyes in a school uniform, and with a nun's habit on her head that made her stand out.

"Just, how did you...?" As the girl asked Tatsurou how he vanished like that, Tatsurou pointed to a fire escape stairs.

"I see... you're smarter than you look, but this won't change much!" The girl said as she looked at Tatsurou, as if he was nothing more than prey to her.

"Who are you, and what do you want?" Tatsurou didn't waste any time and asked her directly.

"You don't do mindless chatting, I like that, very well, my name is Marie Chateunoire a nun in trainning from the Supreme Cross and the one that is going to kill you, Endbringer!" The girl said this to Tatsurou as she pointed at him, and he was caught a bit off guard, but not for too long.

"Endbringer? Wait a sec, you got the wrong person here, my name is Kurokami Tatsurou, not Endbringer!" Tatsurou said with a confused tone and expression to Marie and this time, she was the one caught off guard.

"Are you making fun of me? If your Kurokami Tatsurou, then you are the Endbringer!" Marie said with a angry tone to Tatsurou, that kept looking at her confused.

"But I'm telling you, I never heard that before, you got the wrong person!" Tatsurou said still with a confused tone to Marie.

"Enough! It's time for you to meet your maker, Kurokami Tatsurou! Come to me, "Vivianne"!" As Marie finished saying this, a dark blue rapier began to materialize in her right hand.

"Wait, I'm not going to fight you!" Tatsurou said this to Marie as he moved his hands a bit, but she didn't listen.

"I don't care! If you're not going to fight, this will just make my job easier, prepare yourself!" As Marie said this she started running, towards Tatsurou and before he knew it, she was in front of him ready to make piercing attack, but Tatsurou dodged to the side just in time, avoiding Marie's attack.

"Not bad, but your just avoiding the unavoidable!" Marie said as she turned to Tatsurou and began her attack once more, and as Marie got close her rapier began to light up and she began to attack Tatsurou relentlessly with piercing moves the way she did it was incredible, it showed that she had trained for years to achieve this type of skill, but even with that going for Marie, Tatsurou still avoided her attacks.

"Why, don't you stay still and let me finish you off?" Marie asked as she kept attacking Tatsurou.

"I'm sorry, but I don't want to die!" Tatsurou said jokingly as he kept avoiding Marie's attacks.

"Why you...!" As Marie was going to say something, she stepped on a can and tripped, falling on top of Tatsurou.

"Ow...are you ok?" Tatsurou asked as he tried to get up, while Marie was still on top of him, but that was when something unexpected happened, as Tatsurou tried to get up, he felt something soft in his hand, a soft feeling that made him froze upon seeing, that he was touching Marie's chest, which made her blush with embarrassment, as she got off from Tatsurou really quickly.

"Wait, it was an accident!" Tatsurou said to Marie that was now distant from him with her left arm covering her chest and blushing.

"You're not just dangerous, your a pervert too...!" Marie said as she looked angrily at Tatsurou, and before he could defend himself, he got hit with a slap by Marie which made him fly from the back alley into the streets, and only stopping thanks to a mailbox.

"I told you, it was an accident! Why are you so angry?" Tatsurou said as he got up, after hitting the mailbox.

"You call that just "an accident"? Looks like I will have to kill you for good now!" Marie said as she walked outside of the alley, her eyes lusting after Tatsurou's blood, even more than before.

"Wait I'm sorry, I really am!" Tatsurou said as he flailed his hands and saw Marie getting closer and closer.

"I'm tired of your excuses, just die, right here and now!" Marie said as she got within reach of Tatsurou and prepared to hit him with a piercing attack, but her attack was suddenly stopped, thanks to a magic circle.

"What?" Both Tatsurou and Marie asked at the same time, as they looked at the magic circle.

"You two stop right there!" A police officer said as he got close to them and both Tatsurou and Marie looked at him, with surprise written all over they're faces.

"Thank god!" Tatsurou thought as he sighed a bit..

"You two, are under arrest for public disorder!" The officer said as he finally got close.

"Huh?" Tatsurou and Marie said at the same time as they looked at the angry police officer...

A while later, in a small police station not to far...

"Do you care to explain, what you two were doing?" An old officer probably in his mid 40's asked both Tatsurou and Marie who were sitting in front of his desk.

"I have to kill him..." Marie said in a stoic tone to the old officer as she pointed to Tatsurou.

"Listen miss, whatever your boyfriend did, it's no reason to attack him with a bladed weapon, don't you think?" The old officer said as he sighed, this made Marie a bit confused.

"He thinks, we had a lovers quarrel..." Tatsurou said with a monotonous tone as he looked a bit away from Marie, that upon hearing this blushed.

"Y-You got it wrong! There's no way, I'm going out with a guy like him!!" Marie said as she slammed the desk with both of her hands, as she got up from the chair.

"I understand, but even if he did something horrible, violence isn't the answer..." The old officer said as he sighed again "But I'm telling you, it's nothing like that!" Marie said with an embarrassed tone as she tried to fix the misunderstanding...

After, more or less 2 hours, of getting told to not start fights, Tatsurou and Marie were finally discharged...

"Well, this experience was new..." Tatsurou said as he stretched, Marie just looked away from him.

"This doesn't change anything, you hear!" Marie said with an emberrassed tone as she turned her back to Tatsurou.

"Sure, whatever you say..." Tatsurou said with a monotonous tone, as he turned his back to Marie, and began to walk away.

"Where do you think, you're going? Were not done yet!" Marie said with a angry tone as she pointed at Tatsurou.

"You really want to start a fight, in front of a police station, right after being discharged, seriously?" Tatsurou asked Marie with a stoic tone, and she just looked at him for a bit, thinking that it probably wasn't a good idea to start a fight now.

"Your right, that's probably not a good idea" As Marie said this Tatsurou smiled and began walking away again, but Marie followed behind him.

"Wait, why are you following me?" Tatsurou asked as he stooped to look at Marie.

"Of course to kill you, as soon as we're away from the police station, I can continue where we left off!" Marie said with a confident tone to Tatsurou, but he on the other hand.

"Are you an idiot? Telling your target that you will follow him, and then kill him" Tatsurou asked with a stoic tone again to Marie that blushed a bit.

"Why you? Fine, I will do it now then!" Marie said as she prepared to summon her weapon, but she was interrupted by a sudden growling sound.

"I-It wasn't me!" Marie said with an emberrased tone and expression as she placed her hands on her stomach, and started blushing.

"Your right, it wasn't you, it was me..." Tatsurou said in a joking tone, as he looked at Marie that was even more embarrassed now, Tatsurou just sighed, as he looked at her...
