1 Basics

Welcome to the encyclopedia of the empty world, in this book we will be exploring a new dimension together. First we will start with the basics of the World, so that you will understand its framework and its fundamental laws. Afterwards we will dive deeper and get into more details.

In the Introduction we will look over the basics and glance over a lot of things that will be explored later on.

Introduction:

The Universe

The universe is mostly empty void, with only a few objects floating inside of it, such as dead planets and stars, abandoned or destroyed ships and stations, as well as structures known as reefs. At the center of the universe lays a grant machine as well as the realm of the gods, here the gods once dwelled and ruled over the universe. But after a great war that spanned the universe, most of the gods were killed, most life extinct, stars destroyed and the machine crippled into a broken stayed. Dimensional rifts exist all over space, these can be energy storms, shifts in timeflow that decrease or increase how fast time flows, gateways that can lead someone into another dimension entirely or rifts that expel giant amounts of matter.

The Reefs

The Reefs a giant spherical structures that are one of the last things that can sustain life in the universe, they consist of pillars and tendrils that fuse together and form a sort of three dimensional net, this net is known as the twisted lands. The twisted lands are held together by unstable gravitational forces that can change in intensity from one moment to the other, these get more unstable the further you go down into a reef. Inside the twisted land, life exist in two diffrend ways, one in small caves or staple parts of the twisted lands which come in small forest of mostly plants and sometimes insects, the second is on planets that orbit a small star like entity that are found on the pillars of the twisted lands often having formed a small dent in the land below. These star entities are the smaller cousins of the stars outside the reefs. The light of the stars are, because of their size, whether dime and doesn't shine far into the reef. Planetary life generally has a much higher standard of living and can go much further than the life out in the twisted lands, this results in two kinds of ecosystems, first we have a simple ecosystem that is a larger variety of the twisted land ecosystem, just having a broder and more complex ecosystem, this includes forests, plains, deserts, etc., second we have biohives which are ecosystems with a much higher complexity most often determined by having a entity or organism driving their development, except for so called "chaotic" biohives with are often debated to not be part of the biohive grouping but rather represent a very interesting grey zone between normal simple ecosystems and the complex structures of a biohive, which is created through a selective means were diffrend organisms compete in there placement. Normal bio hives that have a central entity also split into two different kinds on one side we have the control hive and on the other side we have the hivemind, tho arguably these to can intermix, but almost always are a biofactory, with are the most successful hives and can envelop entire planets. The reason why hive are so common or even possible is that life those not evolve inside the twisted land or on planets but rather product in masses in a dimension known as the abyss, which forms the lowest level of a hive and is almost always chaotic because of this.

Dimensions

The Abyss is a dimension underneath realspace and consists of an seemingly infinite space that is filled with a black fluid known as raw matter, which is the unrefined form of matter. Abyss refers to the inside of the dimension and not the manifestation in realspace which resembles a black ocean, that is called the sea, entering the sea will lead someone to a random part of the abyss, because of this it is hard to exit after you entered and one can easily get lost as there is no real surface in the abyss. If one is to travel downwards tho, they would eventually hit the bottom of the abyss, here you will find bodys and carcasses of various creatures flouting only a few meters about the grayish sand that is the ground of the abyss, these life forms are formed from the abyss and in various stages of completion. All life that is produced by the abyss is biomechanic in nature, they are theories that they are not created from scratch but rather reborn from somewhere else, by whatever is controlling the creation of the abyss, this assumption is drawn from the fact that a lot of lifeforms have traits and features that serves no other purpose than a preservation of form and shape of an animal or plant.

The echo is the next dimension on our list, this realm lays in between realspace and the abyss as a parallel dimension to reality, that exists as an ethereal plane that does not follow any of the rules that reality dose. Even Tho it is a parallel dimension to realspace it is not a 1:1 mirror to it, but rather places and structures exist in abstract landscape and forms, with things even being present in different points in time, for example if a structure has already been destroyed in realspace it can still exist in the echo. For life this is a little bit different as in there case if something dies in the real world its echo counterpart will become its own being that feels only the last emotions and thoughts that its counterpart had before it died, because it is now its own being it is left to wander the echo confused and disoriented for the rest of time if it is not guided anywhere else or until one of the many beings of the echo feed abon it.

the abstract is a dimension that is often depicted as being above realspace but is also considered as being more of a canvas that encompasses all dimensions. This is said because all of the things that make the different dimensions originate in the abstract, these things are called abstract types or in short AT. The abstract is hardly understood as only the ones that have seen it can understand it and find it being all to impossible to explain it to someone that has not seen it without going into senseless rambles of all its things and shapes.

Abstract Typs: intro

This is going to be a small introduction into basic science.

Abstract types or AT is the name given to the substances that pours out of the dimension known as the abstract, that builds the foundation of reality and its laws. There are 5 known types (At 1-5) that form the universe. Each AT has different aspects to it self that make the abstract types much more diverse.

AT1

AT1 is the Abstract type that forms matter also known as raw matter. The way AT1 forms elements is in combining small aspects of it self in particles that combine into the mass of an element. This process can be best described as "painting an element with the particles as colors", this results in a large amount of possibilities of elements. Elements also have a field of AT1 that is used to stabilize the element and connect with other elements.

AT2

AT2 is an odd abstract type as it is not responsible for any fundamental laws of the universe, but rather a form of ethereal type. AT2 is the reason the echo exists, as everything in the echo consist of an AT2 aspact type, it is similar to AT1 matter, but follows its own rules. In realspace AT2 has even weirder effects as its presents can shift reality.

AT3

AT3 is directly connected to the flow of time and its concentration in an area determines the speed at which it flows. Rifts in reality can cause entire zones to experience time jumps, these can go from a few years to millions of years and is the only known way things have evolved in the universe.

AT4

AT4 can also be described as gravitational force, as it drags everything into itself or at least tries to. Through this Abstract type the existence of the reefs is even possible but also made dangerous as AT4 flows in a hard to determine way.

AT5

AT5 is energie, in its pure form being normally released as heat and light by elements, it can also pore through dimensional rifts in energy storms.
