However, Lucifer did not move and did not seem to be leaving the room yet. Instead, he placed his hands into his pant pockets and looked at Ada, announcing, "I want to buy a girl."

Hearing this, Daphne's head immediately bounced up as she gaped at the back of Lucifer, a bad feeling biting at her heart. He wanted to buy a girl? What girl? Which girl? During most of his time here, he had only been with her. There was no way. . . Perhaps, did he want to buy -

"Oh?" Lady Ada exclaimed in surprise. Although the purpose of the Brothel was for the customers to purchase the girls, it was still quite rare since most of the upper-class people that came did not want to bring a girl from the Brothel home. It did do harm to their reputation, so most just came here often alone.

The middle and lower classes usually did not have the spare money to buy a girl, so the sight of a customer wanting to buy one of the girls was not very common here at the Brothel.

"Which girl is it?" Ada asked, her eyes quivering over to Daphne and quickly away again. It was clear that Ada also had a guess in her mind already, one that she dearly hoped was wrong.

The man turned around, a faint smile on his face as he took a step backward and stretched his arm out, grabbing onto Daphne's right arm and pulling her forcefully to him. Daphne was quite light and dainty, which was helpful as she was pretending to be a fairy, but she easily flew over to him, landing right into his arm, which wrapped tightly around her waist.

"This one," Master Lucifer said, a grin creeping up his face as he tilted his head down to look at Daphne's face, a sparkle flashing past his eyes as if he was looking at an angel.

Ada could not hide her surprise as her mouth fell open widely. Luckily, Lucifer was not looking at her, so she was able to quickly maintain her composure again when he turned to look at her, wondering why she was so silent, "Did you not hear me?"

Lady Ada chuckled, her eyes glaring at Daphne, wondering what type of magic she had cast onto the man to make him want to buy her. What good was there in her?!

"Are you sure you want to buy her?" Lady Ada asked softly, pointing a finger at Ada. This action clearly offended the man, as his eyes pierced into her finger, and feeling it, Ada immediately pulled her finger back in as if she had just been burnt.

Ada gulped as she realized that she should stop asking questions and making the scary creature repeat himself, "Master Lucifer, I don't mean to offend you at all in any way, but this girl. . . Well, she isn't exactly tamed."

Lady Ada felt a cold wind gush towards her, but she had to say it. If something happened after he bought her and he got mad, then it would only be worse for the Brothel. Not only would the girl be screwed, the Brothel would be screwed as well! Better tell him now then cause any trouble later.

"She had caused trouble with a vampire yesterday as she isn't tamed, and she -"

Lucifer suddenly cut Ada off, a bright and pleased smile on his face as he exclaimed, "Perfect!"

Lady Ada and Daphne all turned to look at him in confusion, wondering what unusual thoughts were going on in his head again.

Lucifer held onto Daphne tightly, so she couldn't even move and try to escape, "Since she is mine, then I shall have the pleasure of taming her."

For some reason, this line made Daphne very scared for her future as she twisted her waist, trying to escape from his grip but not succeeding.

The man seemed to be getting impatient, so Ada decided to stop trying to persuade him. If his mind was set, she was not in any position to question his decision.

"Well then, Master Lucifer, how much do you intend to pay for her?" Speaking of this, Lady Ada's eyes lit up as she licked her lips. Usually, people paid at least ten gold coins for the girls at the Brothel, and some upper class vampires even went as high as paying 50 gold coins once a few years back!

However, no one that has bought a girl at the Brothel before was as high of a status as this master in front of her right now, so Ada was very excited to see how much he would pay. It was finally time! After today, she would be filthy rich!

The possibilities began playing in Ada's mind as she imagined the man handing her a big fat sack of hundreds of gold coins! Oh, she should have treated that girl better, Ada thought. Who knew that the annoying replacement would end up making her a fortune!

Unknowingly, Ada's smile widened as she leaned forward, excited to receive the payment. Daphne, on the other hand, knit her eyebrows together at the thought of being bought with money.

In this world, was she really merely an object that could be easily bought and sold at a price? Daphne's eyes landed on the man next to her as she was slightly curious to see how much he would pay for her. Looking at his temperament and outfit, it seemed like he was quite rich. . . Well, filthy rich.

Would she at least be bought at a very high price?

The creature reached into his pant pocket with his empty hand, digging through it as if he was looking for something. The longer he dug, the more excited Ada became as she looked like she wanted to jump onto him, stealing all of the money from the man.

The next second, Lucifer smiled as he successfully pulled his hand back out, holding up one single gold coin. He looked down at Ada, smiling at her as he held it out on the palm of his hand:

"Here you go."
