Anna Griffin

Then, she looked straight ahead and walked into the living room behind her father.

Daphne followed, surprised at the young fairy's kind attitude. She had found it rare for people here to not judge her based on her outfit.

Inside the living room, Anna turned to have come in and sat down on the couch to the side already, looking upset. Seeing her, Foster walked over and scolded her for her bad manners, which only made her more upset.

Then, since there were guests here, Foster sat down in the center, ordering for a servant to bring tea. Abra sat down next to her younger sister and Lucifer and Daphne sat together across from them.

Anna narrowed her eyes at the sight of Daphne and glared at her unhappily. Once again, Daphne did not know where this hatred came from, but it seemed to just be there for a few people she had met here in Healeh.

Once they had sat down, Lucifer pulled out the invitation, handing it to Foster Griffin.

"Since this Sevil meeting is also the last one before winter, there will also be a party. Master Griffin, you and your family will be able to make it, right?" Lucifer asked with a grin.

"For sure!" Foster immediately replied, taking the invitation from Lucifer as he turned to his two daughters, "It would be great if my two girls could come to celebrate as well."

Lucifer nodded softly as a reply and seeing this, Anna's expression finally brightened slightly as she pressed her lips together in excitement about the party.

"Master Lucifer, when will the party be?" Anna suddenly spoke up, looking at Lucifer eagerly as she tried to strike a conversation with him. She had decided that it was rare for her to meet him, and it would be foolish of her to waste this opportunity because of some slave girl.

Lucifer did not even look at her as he picked up his cup of warm tea, taking a sip, "It's in the invitation."

Anna was embarrassed from being ignored, but she kept a smile as she nodded, "I will definitely be there."

Foster looked at his younger daughter and sighed softly. He did know about his younger daughter's feelings towards young master Black, and he certainly thought his daughter was good enough for him, but he was not sure if the relationship would be great for Anna.

Anna was an innocent and young girl, and Lucifer Black. . . Well, amongst all the devils, besides Zagon Black himself, the most menacing would definitely be this young master Black.

Plus, he did not seem to have any feelings towards Anna and he did not want his daughter to sink too deep into this aimless love. . . And that girl. It was the first time he had seen Lucifer Black so close and obsessive over a girl, so. . .

"Tea," Anna suddenly said, lifting her cup up in Daphne's direction.

Daphne finally looked up when she saw something held at her from the corner of her eyes. She looked up to see Anna holding her cup to her face, her chin held up as she did so.

Daphne looked towards Lucifer, wondering what she was to do. Was the girl asking her to pour the tea for her?

Anna glanced at Daphne impatiently, feeling even more annoyed. What was this stupid slave doing?! She had already been very frustrated with her for standing and sitting so close to Lucifer, and now she didn't even have the basic manners a creature should have in front of Anna Griffin!

Lucifer narrowed his eyes, and noticing this, Foster Griffin quickly looked at her daughter, "What are you doing?!" He snapped.

Anna was surprised that her father had gotten mad at her, and she placed the cup down onto the table forcefully, "Isn't she Mr. Lucifer's slave? Is it wrong for me to ask her to pour some tea for me?"

Daphne raised one eyebrow. This was the second time today someone had assumed she was a slave. This outfit must really resemble what a slave would wear. . .

Hearing this, Lucifer's face darkened as his faint smile completely disappeared. His voice was cold as he spoke to the girl across from him, "Ms. Griffin, I don't remember ever saying she was my slave."

"You -"

"It is not good to assume things, especially when you aren't exactly. . . intellectually gifted," Lucifer said with a sardonic smile as Anna's face paled.

"And, even if she was my slave, Lucifer Black's slave would never have to listen to someone else, much less pour tea for them."

By saying this, Lucifer was not only calling Anna stupid, but also indirectly stating that she was not worthy enough for his slave to even listen to.

Of course, even if Anna was not very sharp, she could understand the hidden meaning behind his words. Her eyes reddened as she looked at her sister, who could not help her.

Both Abra and Foster Griffin had noticed that Lucifer Black was getting mad, and they did not want any conflict happening with the young master of the Black family here in the Griffin manor.

Foster Griffin cleared his throat and looked at his younger daughter sternly, "Anna, go to your room!"

Anna looked at her father in disbelief, wondering why her father even wasn't siding with her. However, when she saw her father's expression, she knew he wasn't joking.

"Now!"

Anna hesitantly stood up, stomping her foot on the ground as she ran off with tears in her eyes threatening to fall. After she had left, Abra also stood up and folded her hands together, saying, "I apologize, Mr. Lucifer. I will go talk to her."

She looked at her father, who nodded, and went off as well.

After they had gone, Lucifer took another sip of his tea, still displeased.

"That dumb slave is not fit for Master Lucifer!"
