1 Chapter 1 - The Meeting

" Ms.Tia. Ms. Tia. Tiaaa. TIA" Tia glares up looking at the troublesome assistant that she had hired by accident. "What is it now, Abigail" Tia questions mildly annoyed by the woman. The assistant stiffens and gradually speaks to her boss. "There's been a meeting scheduled via the council declared that it was essential for you to drop everything, your presence is indeed needed." Tia grunts "gimme a sec." before dismissing the clumsy woman. Tia spins around to the filing cabinet next to her desk before unlocking the second cabinet. She promptly opens it snatching up the item she was looking for, opens the cap, and pops four awkward-sized tablets into her mouth before grabbing the cup of water sitting on her desk and taking a big gulp to swallow the prescription pills. "Shouldn't get a headache this early in the day." Tia presses her temples softly hissing at the sudden jolt of discomfort. Sighing angrily Tia stands up fixing her blazer in the process of making her way toward the office door.

"Let me go assholes!" a girl by the name of Karma screams as the huge watchdogs carry her small body into a large business room. "where the fuck am I!" Karma shouts again. "pipe down" a tall curvy man says seemingly interested in making his presence known to the girl. "who the fuck are you? and who are you to tell me what the fuck to do fucktard!" Karma hissed making the man in question raise his hands in fake defeat. "sorry man didn't mean to burst your bubble" the man says with a small smirk. Karma growls out "shut the fuck up." before she starts to looks around the big space finally realizing that there is a confusing amount of people in the room with her. Karma lets out a shaky breath mumbling to herself "I hate people" as she takes a seat on the floor sitting slumped up against one of the nearest walls. "Attention miscreants and warriors, we have gathered you all here today some willing and some not so much have been chosen to find a Royal treasure that has been stolen from the Princess herself. She chose you based on your magic and the powerful gifts you were born with. We will now call out your names and you are advised to stand when you have heard your lawful names" The room was oddly quiet for the number of people who were sitting in there. "Alright, Akiko Pomeroy" a woman in a straight jacket smiled crazily "that's meeee" the woman sang out still smiling widely. A tall pale woman who looks to be around her mid-twenties glares down at her with pale mint lush eyes. Karma peers deep into the woman's eyes her eyebrows furrowing before she stands up to look at the unique woman in closer proximity. " look here I don't take shit from anyone, especially not the fortunate who don't help people in the world who are less fortunate." Karma announces. "well it looks like you don't have a choice little puppy, now sit down and behave like a good dog." the gorgeous, but rude woman says to Karma before turning around to face the whole room. "If you have already forgotten or just couldn't keep up, my name is Tia and I will be one of the four leaders taking you all under the order of the Kingdom's King to find the Princess's mistaken prosperity" The woman by the name of Tia explains. Another person suddenly arises from their seat. "Hiya! My name is Daemon and I am also one of the four leaders helping you all on this expedition as well." the man Daemon smiles while introducing himself to everyone as Tia before him just had. Two more people introduce themselves as Jasper and Aliziah. Karma's eyes rolled before looking down at her hands and sighing. This was gonna be a long day and she didn't even know how it started.
